• Standard Chartered Bank, India has launched the ‘interest-only home loan’ facility aimed at new as well as its existing customers.

• Customers can choose to pay only the interest amount through equated monthly installments (EMIs) for an initial period of one–three years.

• TripMoney, the fintech arm of MakeMyTrip has partnered with SBM Bank India to launch a rupee-denominated secure credit card ‘TripMoney Global Card’.
• This credit card offers multiple value-added benefits including zero forex mark-up, lifetime free validity and 100 per cent digital in-app card management.

South Indian Bank introduces two new services for customers

• South Indian Bank (SIB) has introduced two new services to further enhance both ‘remittances to’ and ‘remittances from’
• This bank has enabled online outward remittances through Net Banking and inward remittances through NPCI’s UPI mode, providing an enhanced experience, convenience and safety.
• SIB online outward remittance facilitates Foreign Outward Remittance through the bank’s Internet Banking platform, ‘SIBerNet’.
• Under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), RBI permits resident individuals to remit up to $ 2,50,000 or equivalent in other currencies in a financial year for permissible purposes.

Cashaa launches personal accounts for crypto deposits

• Crypto-friendly neo-bank Cashaa has launched ‘personal accounts’, providing interest of up to 24 per cent on crypto assets. This feature with a yield program enables users to store, buy, sell and earn interest on their crypto assets.

Ujjivan SFB ties up with Hero MotoCorp for two-wheeler financing

• Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has tied up with Hero MotoCorp to finance a two-wheeler purchase. Ujjivan will fund up to 100 per cent of the on-road price of the vehicle, depending on the customer’s credit profile.

IIT Roorkee launches ‘KISAN’ mobile application to send agricultural advises

• IIT Roorkee has organised a regional farmers’ awareness program under Gramin Krishi Mausam Sewa (GKMS) project and in continuation of the series of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
• A mobile application ‘KISAN’ was launched for easy access to these services for farmers on their mobile phones.
