DARE TO SOLVE DAY 6
Mithali and Mithul can complete a job in 48 hours working together. On an occasion, Mithali worked alone for half the time Mithul takes to complete the work, and then Mithali left and Mithul came on to work for the period that Mithali takes to complete one-third of the work. When Mithul stopped, five-sixth of the work was done. What is the least time that will be taken either by Mithali or Mithul to complete the work alone?
Explanation:
ShortCut Technique:
Given that Mithali and Mithul Worked for 48 Hours to Complete the Work Together.
Mithali + Mithul=48 Hours(Given)
48(Mithali + Mithul)=Total Work
Therefore,
3Mithali=2Mithul(Given)
Mithali=2/3Mithul
Substituting the value of Mithali,
48(2/3Mithul + Mithul)=Total Work
48[(2Mithul+3Mithul)/3]=Total Work
48[5Mithul/3]=Total Work
16(5Mithul)=Total Work
80Mithul=Total work
It Means Mithul takes 80 Hours to Complete the Work
