Q1. What is the total vacancies available under this post and provide the individual vacancies available under the Assistants post in each state ?

The total number of vacancies available under this exam is 264 posts. Out of this 164 posts are available under Assistants and 100 posts are available under Assistant Managers Posts. You can check the individual State vacancies for the post of Assistants in the below table.

NOTE : For Assistants , Candidates are allowed to apply for vacancy from only one state.

Q2. Will the exam be in Online or in Offline mode ?

The preliminary examination will be in English Only for both the posts of Assistants and Assistant Managers.

Q3. Will there be interview for the Assistant Posts ?

Yes. The notification clearly mentions that there is interview for both the Assistant and the Assistant Manager Post. The preliminary examination will be followed by the interview.

Q4. Is there any age restriction to apply for the post of Assistant and Assistant Manager in LIC HFL 2017 ?

Yes there is age limit restriction. It should not be below 21 years and not above 28 years as on 01.07.2017 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1989 and not later than 01.07.1996 (both dates inclusive). Candidates should be aged between 21 – 28.
Q5. What is the educational Qualification to apply for the post of Assistants and Assistant Manager ?
For Assistants :
The candidate should be a Graduate and also should have the minimum aggregate percentage of 60%. The candidate should possess computer skills. (As on 01-07-2017)
For Assistant Managers :
The candidate should be a MBA graduate in any discipline from a recognized university / institute / board and should have a minimum aggregate percentage of 60%. The candidate should possess computer skills. (As on 01-07-2017).
Q6. What is the structure of the Online Exam for the Assistants and Assistant Managers in LIC HFL 2017 ?

Both the exams have the same exam pattern. The online examination will be separate for Assistant and Assistant Manager.

Q7. Is the Exam Bilingual ?

No. The exam will be conducted only in English. It will not be the same as other exams.

Q8. What is the negative marking pattern for the post of Assistant and Assistant Manager ?

There will be penalty for wrong answers in the online examination . For every wrong answer to a question given by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is given by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
Q9. What is the Application fees for the post of Assistant and Assistant Manager in LIC HFL 2017 ?
The application for the post of Assistant and Assistant Manager in LIC HFL 2017 is Rs.500 and GST of  @ 18% will be charged on the Application Fee. Applicants have to bear the transaction charges as applicable for online payment.
Q10. What is the tentative date for the online examination of the Assistant and Assistant Managers in LIC HFL 2017 ?
The tentative date of the online examination of Assistant Manager is on 10th October and the tentative date of the online examination is on 12th October 2017.
