TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Examination 2018 : LAST DATE REMINDER

Dear TNPSC Aspirants ,

TNPSC (TamilNadu Public Service Commission) has released the notification for the Combined Engineering Services (CES) 2018 during the start of March, 2018 and the total number of vacancies available for the Combined Engineering Services is 324. Today (26th March, 2018) is the last date to apply for the post available in Combined Engineering Services (CES). So if you haven’t applied for the Combined Engineering Services (CES) , please apply for the Exams now. It might or might not be extended , so please apply for the exams now.

Who can Apply for the Vacancies available in Combined Engineering Services ?

1	Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Water Resources Department, Public WorksDepartment	B.E degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural EngineeringOR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering branch, subject to the following further conditions namely:- I. Should furnish evidence of having undergone practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year. or II. Should have put in service for a period of not less than one year in Public Works Department as Overseer or Junior Engineer. or III. Should hold the Upper Subordinate or L.C.E Diploma of the College of Engineering, Guindy or L.C.E. Diploma awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai
2.	Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Buildings, PWD
3.	Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in PWD	A degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering OR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examination with Electrical Engineering as a subject.
4.	Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Highways Department	A degree in Civil Engineering OR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering Branch.
5.	Assistant Engineer in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.	A degree in Civil Engineering OR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution of Engineers (India) under Civil Engineering Branch, subject to the condition that he/she should furnish evidence of having undergone practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year.

Aspirants who wish to apply for the above given posts can apply for the Combined Engineering Services (CES) from the official website of TNPSC .

Please note the following,

Applicants must have knowledge of Tamil.
The upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years.
There is no age limit for candidates belonging to SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM categories including Destitute Widows of all Castes.
