TNPSC (TamilNadu Public Service Commission) has released yet another notification for the direct recruitment of Executive Officer Grade IV included in Group VII in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Subordinate Service against the vacancies (2017 – 2018, and 2018-2019).
Only persons professing the Hindu Religion as required by Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious
and Charitable Endowments Act- 1959 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 1959) are eligible to apply. The total number of vacancies available for the TNPSC Executive Officer Grade IV in TNHRCESS is 65.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION – TNSPC Executive officer Grade IV 2018
Educational Qualification will be considered as on 2nd November, 2018.
Minimum General Educational Qualification (OR) The title of “Tamil Pulavar” recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Provided that, other things being equal, preference shall be given to employees of Religious Institutions (other than Government Servant) who have put in not less than 5 years of Service.
Explanation:
Minimum General Educational Qualification means:
(i) A pass in the SSLC Examination with eligibility for admission to College courses of studies in the Universities in this State. (11 years course of study)
OR
(ii) A pass in the SSLC Examination of this State. (10 years course of study)
Note:-
(i) The higher qualification claimed to have possessed over and above the prescribed for this post should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies viz., 10th + HSC or its equivalent +U.G. degree.
(ii) Applicants claiming equivalence of qualification to the prescribed qualification should upload and submit evidence for equivalence of qualification in the form of G.O. issued prior to the date of this notification when called for. The G.Os issued regarding equivalence of qualification after the date of this notification will not be accepted.

Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.

i. Applicants are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the language part in Paper-I.
ii. The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages.
iii. The questions on 1.Hindu Religion 2. Saivism and Vaishnavism inrespect of paper-II (i.e. 1.இந்து மதம் & 2. சைவமும் வைணவமும்) will be set in Tamil only.
Selection Procedure – TNSPC Executive officer Grade IV 2018
Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination
(ii) Oral Test
in the shape of an interview.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
Applicant’s appearance in the Written Examination and Oral Test is compulsory. An applicant who has not appeared in any one of the papers in Written Examination or the Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures qualifying marks for selection.
