1. National Safety Day 2021 was celebrated on 4 March

• National Safety Day is observed on 4 March every year to commemorate the foundation of the National Safety Council.
• The objective of the day is to renew the commitment of employees and the general public to work safely and ensure the integration of a safe and sound work culture and lifestyle.
• National Safety Day was observed for the first time in 1972, on the foundation day of the National Safety Council by the Union Ministry of Labour and employment.

1. தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு தினம் 4 மார்ச் 2021 அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது

• தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சில் நிறுவப்பட்டதை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 4 மார்ச் அன்று தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் பொது மக்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக பணியாற்றுவதற்கான உறுதிப்பாட்டை புதுப்பிப்பதும், பாதுகாப்பான சிறந்த பணி கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் வாழ்க்கை முறை ஒருங்கிணைப்பை உறுதி செய்வதே இந்த நாளின் நோக்கம்.
• 1972ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொழிலாளர் மற்றும் வேலைவாய்ப்பு அமைச்சகத்தால் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சில் நிறுவப்பட்டதை தொடர்ந்து தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு தினம் முதன்முறையாக அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது.

2. World Wildlife Day 2021 was celebrated on 3 March

• World Wildlife Day is observed every year on 3 March to celebrate the world’s flora and fauna and to raise awareness about animals going extinct.
• On 20 December 2013, the United Nations General Assembly had proclaimed 3 March as UN World Wildlife Day to celebrate and raise awareness about animals and plants.

2. உலக வனவிலங்கு தினம் 3 மார்ச் 2021 அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது

• உலகின் தாவரங்கள் மற்றும் விலங்கினங்களைக் போற்றுவதற்கும், அழிந்துபோகும் விலங்குகள் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்கும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 3 மார்ச் அன்று உலக வனவிலங்கு தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• விலங்குகள் மற்றும் தாவரங்கள் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்த, ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் பொதுச் சபை மார்ச் 3ஐ உலக வனவிலங்கு தினமாக 20 டிசம்பர் 2013 அன்று அறிவித்தது.
• 2021-க்கான கருப்பொருள்: ‘காடுகள் மற்றும் வாழ்வாதாரங்கள்: மக்களையும் பூமியையும் நிலைநிறுத்துதல்’

3. Australia unveiled plans to build the World’s First Sanctuary for near-extinct Platypus

• Australian conservationists unveiled plans recently to build the world’s first refuge for the Platypus to promote breeding and rehabilitation as the duck-billed mammal faces extinction due to climate change.
• Platypus, along with the Echidna, is one of just two egg-laying mammals, and it is classified as a protected species in Australia.

3. அழிவின் விளிம்பில் உள்ள பிளாட்டிபஸிற்காக உலகின் முதல் சரணாலயத்தை ஆஸ்திரேலியா அமைக்க உள்ளது

4. Union Cabinet approved an MoU between India and France on Renewable Energy Cooperation

• The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and France in the field of renewable energy cooperation.
• It covers technologies related to solar, wind, hydrogen and biomass energy.
• This MoU will help in the development of technological know-how in the field of renewable energy and thereby aid the process of attaining the ambitious target of 450 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2030.

4. இந்தியா மற்றும் பிரான்ஸ் இடையேயான புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஒத்துழைப்பு புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்திற்கு மத்திய அமைச்சரவையால் ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டது

• பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான மத்திய அமைச்சரவை, புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஒத்துழைப்புத் துறையில் இந்தியா மற்றும் பிரான்ஸ் இடையேபுரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்திற்கு ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது.
• இது சூரிய சக்தி, காற்று, ஹைட்ரஜன் மற்றும் உயிர்சக்தி சக்தி தொடர்பான தொழில்நுட்பங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கியுள்ளது.

5. Telecom Equipment Export Promotion Council organised the India Telecom 2021, an Exclusive International Business Expo

• Under the Market Access Initiative Scheme (MAI) of the Department of Commerce, India Telecom 2021, an Exclusive International Business Expo was organized by Telecom Equipment Export Promotion Council (TEPC).
• More than 40 Indian telecom companies showcased their state-of-the-art products and capabilities at the exhibition.
• TEPC has been set up by the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Union Ministry of Communications to promote and develop the export of telecom equipment and services.

5. தொலைத்தொடர்பு கருவி ஏற்றுமதி மேம்பாட்டு கவுன்சிலால் ‘இந்தியா தொலைத்தொடர்பு 2021’ என்னும் ஒரு பிரத்யேக சர்வதேச வர்த்தக கண்காட்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது

• இந்திய வர்த்தகத் துறையின் சந்தை அணுகல் முன்முயற்சி திட்டத்தின் (எம்ஐஐ) கீழ், தொலைதொடர்பு கருவி ஏற்றுமதி மேம்பாட்டு கவுன்சில் (டி.இ.பி.சி), ‘இந்தியா தொலைத்தொடர்பு 2021’ என்னும் ஒரு பிரத்யேக சர்வதேச வர்த்தக கண்காட்சியை நடத்தியது.
• 40க்கும் மேற்பட்ட இந்திய தொலைத் தொடர்பு நிறுவனங்கள் கண்காட்சியில் தங்களது நவீன தயாரிப்புகளைக் காட்சிப்படுத்தின.
• டி.இ.பி.சி என்பது இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் வர்த்தக மற்றும் கைத்தொழில் அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு அமைச்சகத்தால் தொலைத்தொடர்பு உபகரணங்கள் மற்றும் சேவைகளின் ஏற்றுமதியை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கு அமைக்கப்பட்டது ஆகும்.

6. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Harsh Vardhan virtually inaugurated 6 new Outreach Service Centers for Communication Disorders

• All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru launched the 6 new Outreach Service Centers for Communication Disorders on the occasion of World Hearing Day.
• Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Harsh Vardhan virtually inaugurated the 6 new centres and also released the report by ICMR-AIIMS and a Pictorial guidebook on “Prevent Hearing Loss” by DGHS-PGIMER.
• World Hearing Day is celebrated on 3 March every year and the theme for the year 2021 is “Hearing care for ALL! Rehabilitate. Communicate.”

6. மத்திய சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் குடும்ப நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் டாக்டர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் 6 புதிய ‘செவித்திறன் கோளாறு சேவை மையங்களை’ துவக்கி வைத்தார்

• உலக செவித்திறன் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, மைசூரில்உள்ள அகில இந்திய பேச்சு மற்றும் செவி திறன் நிறுவனம், செவி தொடர்பான கோளாறுகளுக்காக 6 புதிய சேவை மையங்களை துவக்கி உள்ளது.
• மத்திய சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் குடும்ப நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் டாக்டர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் இந்த 6 புதிய மையங்களையும் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.மேலும், ICMR-AIIMSஇன் அறிக்கையையும், DGHS-PGIMERஇன் “செவிப்பிழப்பு” பற்றிய வழிகாட்டி புத்தகத்தையும் வெளியிட்டார்.
• உலக செவித்திறன் தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 3 மார்ச் அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• 2021ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான கருப்பொருள்: “அனைவருக்கும் கேட்கும் திறன்!  பரிசோதனை. புனர்வாழ்வு. தொடர்பு.”

7. Aries-Devasthal Faint Object Spectrograph & Camera (ADFOSC) was successfully commissioned on the 6-m Devasthal Optical Telescope (DOT), the largest in the country and in Asia, near Nainital, Uttarakhand.

• ADFOSC is an indigenously designed and developed optical spectrograph by the Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciences (ARIES), Nainital which is an autonomous institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
• The spectrograph is about 2.5 times less costly compared to the imported ones and can locate sources of light with a photon-rate as low as about 1 photon per second.

• PM Narendra Modi addressed the Inaugural session of Webinar on ‘Harnessing Education, Research and Skill Development for an Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
• The objective of the Webinar was to brainstorm and discuss ways for effective implementation of Budget provisions regarding the education sector with experts and industry representatives.
• The Webinar was organized jointly by the Ministries and Departments of Education, Science & Technology, Biotechnology, Earth Sciences, Skill Development, Space, Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals & Petrochemicals, with the Department of Higher Education as the nodal Ministry.

8. ‘ஆத்மநிர்பார் பாரத்தில் கல்வி, ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் திறன் மேம்பாட்டைக் குறித்த கானொலி மாநாடு

• பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி ‘ஆத்மநிர்பார் பாரதத்தில் கல்வி, ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் திறன் மேம்பாடு ஆகியவற்றைப் பயன்படுத்துவது’ என்ற கானொலி மாநாட்டின் தொடக்க அமர்வில் உரையாற்றினார்.
• கல்வித்துறை தொடர்பான பட்ஜெட் விதிகளை திறம்பட செயல்படுத்துவதற்கான வழிகளை ஆராய்ந்து, வல்லுநர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில் பிரதிநிதிகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடுவதே இந்த மாநாட்டின் நோக்கமாகும்.
• உயர்கல்வித் துறையின் தலைமையில், கல்வி, அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பம், பயோடெக்னாலஜி, பூமி அறிவியல், திறன் மேம்பாடு, விண்வெளி, மருந்துகள் மற்றும் ரசாயனங்கள் & பெட்ரோ கெமிக்கல்ஸ் ஆகிய அமைச்சகங்கள் மற்றும் துறைகள் இணைந்து இந்த கானொலி மாநாட்டை நடத்தின.

9. A ceremony to bring out the scientific report ‘Sanklan’ was organised by the CSIR-NISTADS

• A ceremony to bring out the outcome of IISF 2020 in the form of a scientific report, “Sanklan” was organized by the CSIR-National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS) in New Delhi.
• IISF is a vibrant expression of the science and technology of India, which also connects the world. IISF was launched in 2015 and IISF 2020 was the sixth edition.
• The theme for the year 2020 was ‘Science for Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Global Welfare’, which showcased the contribution of scientific and technological endeavors to realize the goal of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission.

9. ‘சங்க்லான்’
