2. UAE’s Hope Mission has captured the first-ever images of Mars’ auroras

• The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mars probe ‘Hope’ has captured first-ever images of Mars’ auroras.

Aurora on Mars

• Aurora could be seen all around Mars. This is because the molten iron in Mars’ interior is cooled and the magnetic field around had died out.

Difference between the Earth and Mars

• On Earth, the aurora borealis and aurora australis are observed in the northern and southern polar regions, respectively. It is caused when solar particles from the Sun are deflected around the planet by its magnetic field, generating shimmering, glowing curtains of colour.

2. ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகத்தின் ஹோப் மிஷன் செவ்வாய் கிரக அரோராக்களின் முதல் படங்களை எடுத்துள்ளது

• ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகத்தின் (UAE) செவ்வாய் ஆய்வு கலமான ‘ஹோப்’ செவ்வாய் கிரக அரோராக்களின் முதல் படங்களை எடுத்துள்ளது.

• செவ்வாய் கிரகத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் அரோராவைக் காண முடியும். ஏனெனில் செவ்வாய் கிரகத்தின் உட்புறத்தில் உருகிய இரும்பு குளிர்ந்து, சுற்றிலும் காந்தப் புலம் இல்லாமலும் இருக்கிறது.

பூமிக்கும் செவ்வாய்க்கும் இடையிலான வேறுபாடு

• பூமியில், அரோரா போரியலிஸ் மற்றும் அரோரா ஆஸ்திரலிஸ் முறையே வடக்கு மற்றும் தெற்கு துருவப் பகுதிகளில் காணப்படுகின்றன. சூரியனிலிருந்து வரும் சூரியத் துகள்கள் அதன் காந்தப் புலத்தால் கிரகத்தைச் சுற்றி திசை திருப்பப்பட்டு, மின்னும், ஒளிரும் திரைச்சீலைகளை உருவாக்கும்போது இது ஏற்படுகிறது.

3. Kashmir Valley’s Mishri cherries were exported to Dubai

• The first commercial shipment of the Mishri variety of cherries from Kashmir Valley was exported to Dubai from Srinagar.
• Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) assisted the shipment of cherries to Dubai.
• Jammu and Kashmir produces more than 95 per cent of the India’s total production of commercial varieties of cherries. It produces four varieties of cherries – Double, Makhmali, Mishri and Italy.

3. காஷ்மீர் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் மிஷ்ரி செர்ரிகள் துபாய்க்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்யப்பட்டன

• காஷ்மீர் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இருந்து மிஷ்ரி வகை செர்ரிகளின் முதல் வர்த்தக தொகுதி ஸ்ரீநகரில் இருந்து துபாய்க்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• விவசாய மற்றும் பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட உணவு பொருட்கள் ஏற்றுமதி மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையம் (APEDA) துபாய்க்கு செர்ரிகளை அனுப்ப உதவியது.
• இந்தியாவின் மொத்த உற்பத்தி செய்யப்படும் வணிகரீதியான செர்ரி வகைகளில் 95 சதவீதத்திற்கும் அதிகமானதை ஜம்மு மற்றும் காஷ்மீர் உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது. இது டபுள், மக்மாலி, மிஷ்ரி மற்றும் இத்தாலி ஆகிய நான்கு வகையான செர்ரி வகைகளை உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது.

4. Union Government creates a new Ministry known as the Union Ministry of Cooperation

• Union Government created a new Ministry known as the Union Ministry of Cooperation with an aim to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country.
• This Ministry has been created for realising the vision of ‘sahkar se samriddhi’ (through cooperation to prosperity).

4. மத்திய அரசு மத்திய கூட்டுறவு அமைச்சகம் என்ற புதிய அமைச்சகத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது

• நாட்டில் கூட்டுறவு இயக்கத்தை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்துடன் மத்திய கூட்டுறவு அமைச்சகம் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் புதிய அமைச்சகத்தை மத்திய அரசு உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
• இந்த அமைச்சகம் ‘சஹ்கர் சே சம்ரிதி’ (கூட்டுறவின் மூலம் செழிப்புக்கான வழி) என்ற தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையை அடைவதற்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

5. Union MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari becomes the brand ambassador of India’s first cow dung paint

• Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and MSME Nitin Gadkari declared himself as the “brand ambassador” of Khadi Prakritk Paint.
• Khadi Prakritik Paint is India’s first and only paint made from cow dung.
• It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and natural thermal insulation properties. This paint is eco-friendly, non-toxic, odourless and cost-effective.

5. மத்திய எம். எஸ். எம். இ அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி இந்தியாவின் முதல் மாட்டு சாண பெயிண்டின் தூதரானார்

• மத்திய சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலைகள் மற்றும் எம். எஸ். எம். இ அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி தன்னை காதி பிராக்ரித்க் பெயிண்டின் தூதராக அறிவித்தார்.
• காதி பிராக்ரித்க் பெயிண்ட் என்பது மாட்டுச் சாணத்திலிருந்து தயாரிக்கப்படும் இந்தியாவின் முதல் மற்றும் ஒரே பெயிண்ட் ஆகும்.
• இதற்கு பாக்டீரியா எதிர்ப்பு, பூஞ்சை எதிர்ப்பு மற்றும் இயற்கை வெப்ப காப்பு பண்புகள் உள்ளன. இந்த பெயிண்ட் சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்தது, நச்சு அல்லாதது, வாசனையற்றது மற்றும் செலவு குறைந்தது ஆகும்.

6. CII organises the 1^st edition of the Indo-Pacific Business Summit in partnership with the Union External Affairs Ministry

• The first edition of the Indo-Pacific Business Summit was organised by CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) in partnership with the Union Ministry of External Affairs.
• Union Ministry of External Affairs Secretary (East) Riva Ganguly Das addressed the special session of the first edition of the summit.
• This summit highlights the importance of free, open, rules-based Indo-Pacific.

6. மத்திய வெளியுறவு அமைச்சகத்துடன்  இணைந்து இந்தோ–பசிபிக் வர்த்தக உச்சி மாநாட்டின் முதல் பதிப்பை சிஐஐ ஏற்பாடு செய்தது

• இந்தோ–பசிபிக் வர்த்தக உச்சி மாநாட்டின் முதல் பதிப்பை மத்திய வெளியுறவு அமைச்சகத்துடன் இணைந்து சிஐஐ (CII – இந்திய தொழில் கூட்டமைப்பு) ஏற்பாடு செய்தது.
• இந்த உச்சி மாநாட்டின் முதல் பதிப்பின் சிறப்புக் கூட்டத்தில் மத்திய  வெளியுறவு அமைச்சக செயலாளர் (கிழக்கு)  ரிவா கங்குலி தாஸ்  உரையாற்றினார்.
• சுதந்திரமான, வெளிப்படையான, விதிகளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட இந்தோ-பசிபிக்கின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை இந்த உச்சி மாநாடு எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.

7. DMRC launches India’s first FASTag/UPI-based cashless parking at Kashmere Gate metro station

• Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched India’s first FASTag/UPI-based cashless parking at the Kashmere Gate metro station.
• The payment for entry and exit of 4-wheelers can be made through the FASTag. Only the vehicles with FASTag will be allowed to park in this facility.
• The payment for the entry for 2-wheelers can be made only by swiping the DMRC smart card for registering the time of entry and exit and fare calculation and no money will be deducted from the card. The parking fee can be paid via UPI apps by scanning the QR code.

7. டிஎம்ஆர்சி (DMRC) காஷ்மிரி கேட் மெட்ரோ நிலையத்தில் இந்தியாவின் முதல் ஃபாஸ்டாக்/யுபிஐ அடிப்படையிலான பணமில்லா பார்க்கிங்கை தொடங்கியுள்ளது

• டெல்லி மெட்ரோ ரயில் கார்ப்பரேஷன் (டிஎம்ஆர்சி) இந்தியாவின் முதல் ஃபாஸ்டாக்/யுபிஐ அடிப்படையிலான பணமில்லா பார்க்கிங்கை காஷ்மிரி கேட் மெட்ரோ நிலையத்தில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது.
• 4 சக்கர வாகனங்கள் நுழைவது மற்றும் வெளியேறுவது மற்றும் பணம் செலுத்துவது ஆகியவற்றை ஃபாஸ்டாக் மூலம் செய்யலாம். ஃபாஸ்டாக்குடன் கூடிய வாகனங்கள் மட்டுமே இந்த மெட்ரோ நிலையத்தில் நிறுத்த அனுமதிக்கப்படும்.
• 2 சக்கர வாகனங்களுக்கான நுழைவு நுழைவு மற்றும் வெளியேறும் நேரம் மற்றும் கட்டண கணக்கீடு ஆகியவற்றைப் பதிவு செய்ய டி.எம்.ஆர்.சி ஸ்மார்ட் கார்ட் மூலம் மட்டுமே செய்ய முடியும். மேலும் அவ்வட்டையில் இருந்து பணம் கழிக்கப்படாது. பார்க்கிங் கட்டணத்தை யுபிஐ பயன்பாடுகள் வழியாக க்யூஆர் குறியீட்டை ஸ்கேன் செய்வதன் மூலம் செலுத்தலாம்.

8. Neha Parikh was appointed as the new CEO of the Waze app

• Indian-American Neha Parikh was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Waze, a crowdsourced navigation app based in She replaced Noam Bardin. Waze is a subsidiary of Google.
• She was earlier the President of Hotwire. She was the youngest and first female President of Hotwire.

8. நேஹா பரிக் வேஸ் செயலியின் புதிய தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்

• இஸ்ரேலை தளமாகக் கொண்ட கிரௌட் சோர்ஸிங் செயலியான வேஸின்(Waze) புதிய தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரியாக இந்திய–அமெரிக்கரான நேஹா பரிக் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். அவர் நோம் பார்டினுக்குப் பதிலாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். வேஸ் கூகுளின் துணை நிறுவனமாகும்.
• அவர் முன்பு ஹாட்வயரின் தலைவராக இருந்தார். அவர் ஹாட்வயரின் இளைய மற்றும் முதல் பெண் தலைவர் ஆவார்.

9. AFC confirms Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune as the venues for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022

• The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune as the venues for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 in India.
• The Mumbai Football Arena – Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai, the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune and the Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai are the three venues.
• The AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 is scheduled to take place from 20 January to 6 February 2022 in India.

10. Hockey legend Keshav Datt passed away at the age of 95

• Hockey player Keshav Datt passed away at the age of 95. He was a part of India’s 1948 and 1952 Olympic teams. India won its first gold medal in hockey post-independence in the 1948 Olympic games.
• He was the first non-footballer recipient of the Mohun Bagan Ratna Award in 2019.

10. ஹாக்கி ஜாம்பவான் கேசவ் டாட் தனது 95வது வயதில் காலமானார்

• ஹாக்கி வீரர் கேசவ் டாட் தனது 95 வது வயதில் காலமானார். 1948  மற்றும்  1952 இந்திய ஒலிம்பிக் அணிகளில் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருந்தார்.  1948 ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டியில் ஹாக்கியில் இந்தியா தனது சுதந்திரத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய முதல் தங்கப் பதக்கத்தை வென்றது.
• இவர் 2019ஆம் ஆண்டில் மோகன் பகான் ரத்னா விருதைப் பெற்ற முதல் கால்பந்து அல்லாத வீரர் ஆவார்.
