All you need to know about RRB NTPC Skill Test

RRB NTPC stage 2 Normalized scores are declared. Qualified people will go for skill tests wherever required, followed by document verification. Here is the complete details of various posts and their skill tests.

EXAM MODE:

Stage – 1: Computer based Exam(CBT) which is qualifying nature for all posts.  Total marks is 100.

Stage – 2: Computer based Exam (CBT),total marks is 120. For selection process,Stage 2 marks will be considered .

Stage – 3:For CA,TA ,Goods guard,Entry cum reservation clerk,no skill test is needed.

Only second stage marks will be considered. Candidates who earns a place in merit list of these posts ,will go straightly to document verification.

For Asst. Station Master,Traffic Asst.,Pshycological aptitude test will be conducted to test candidate’s intelligence and mental strength.

Marks are to be awarded in this test & hence, scoring good marks inaddition to qualifying is necessary.

About Aptitude test:

  • No negative marks for wrong answers.
  • A weightage of 70% (CBT marks) & 30% (aptitude test marks) will be taken in drawing the merit list for ASM & Traffic assistant jobs.

For Junior accountant-cum-typist,senior clerk-cum-typist,Senior time keeper Typing is required

Typing Test does not carry any marks but candidates  must qualify in it.

About Typing Test:

  • Candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi
  • The words are to be typed only on computer provided at the centre.
  • Spell check facility & other editing tools would be disabled on the system while typing.

NOTE:

  • Candidate’s Stage 2 marks,skill test marks,posts preference will alsodecide his place in the final list.
  • Since vacancies of several RRB boards have been decreased , candidate should have checked the revised vacancy table ,and should have prefered posts accordingly.
