What to Expect in the IBPS RRB CLERK Mains Exam 2018?
- The number of aspirants appearing for the IBPS RRB (Officer Assistant) Clerk Mains Exam 2018 will be relatively high when compared to the IBPS RRB PO Exam 2018. So the competition will be high and moreover, this is an assistant exam which will garner the higher number of candidates.
- One should know that in Quants section DI is the important one and this will be the key to crack the Quants section. DI will constitute for 20 + Marks in the mains. One Caselet DI is being asked in the exams, so please concentrate more on this part.
- Also, One Data Sufficiency Question was asked in the Previous year IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam.
- Apart from this Quadratic Equation & miscellaneous questions will fill the other questions and mostly the previous sets will help you to grab the most available marks and mostly 65% aspirants will score marks only in the above questions like Quadratic Equation & DI. The rest will try to compete and solve the miscellaneous section.
- The best strategy one should follow is to attend a maximum number of questions in the IBPS RRB CLERK Mains Exam 2018 because there are no sectional timings and only composite time, so aspirants should attend the sections which they are comfortable and will solve quickly. Solving a greater number of questions and quickly are the two important factors to crack the IBPS RRB CLERK mains Exam 2018.
- In the recently ended Mains, a greater number of Reading comprehension questions were asked, so always look out for the Reading Comprehension questions and then para jumble questions which are easier to attend and will fetch you the much-needed marks to clear the sectional cutoff marks.
- In the English section, aspirants can expect Fillers type questions and Cloze Test which will be in the easier to moderate range.
- Then comes the important mark scoring section in the IBPS CLERK mains Exam 2018 which is the Reasoning section. Puzzle and Seating Arrangement fills the maximum number of questions. Aspirants can expect at least 20 questions from these 2 sections. Since the competition will be heavy, the questions will be in the moderate to difficult level.
- Apart from this One can expect Syllogism, MOT, Blood Relation, Sequential Output Tracing & Alphabet Series.
- The Next is the Current Affairs & Banking Awareness Section which is the most intuiting part in the IBPS CLERK Mains Exam 2018. We expect questions from the past 6 months and we always stress the same. Please for any exams study atleast 6 Months Current Affairs because twists and turns will happen only in this section.
- For Banking Awareness and Static GK, you can expect atleast 5-10 Questions overall and do remember this will be the marks booster for your IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam 2018 and without fail you must score 25+ marks in the Current Affairs & banking Awareness Section to score maximum marks overall.
- When coming to the Computer Awareness Section there is no specific syllabus which will cover this particular exam but lastly in the previously held IBPS RRB Scale I Officer Mains Exam 2018, some of the questions were out of the box questions and were majorly unattendable , this was kept like this to increase the competition and the cutoff marks as simple questions will pave way for the aspirants to score more, so the only way is to strategically post hard questions in this section.
