Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has recently announced the notification for the Group IV (Group 4) and the application process has started a month back and now it’s time for the closure of the submission of the application. The total number of vacancies available for the TNPSC Group 4 is 9351 and this is for the various posts available under the Group 4 (Group IV) cadre.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) have extended the date to apply for the posts in GROUP IV (GROUP 4) and VAO exams. The Last Date to apply for the TNPSC GROUP IV (Group 4) and VAO exam is 20th December, 2017.

Update (as on 14th December, 2017) : As said today is the last date to apply for the various posts in the Group IV and VAO exams. The last date for the payment has been extended till 15th December, 2017 (as per the news sources) and if the aspirants have got failed transactions for the TNPSC GROUP 4 (GROUP IV), they can pay the exam before 15th December, 2017 (Last Date to Apply for the Posts in TNPSC have been extended to 220th December, 2017). The Payment for the Exam fee of TNPSC GROUP IV will not be extended further due to the technical errors faced by the aspirants. (As per the sources). Until now 17 LAKHS Aspirants have applied for the TNPSC GROUP 4 and VAO exams. (as per sources)
Aspirants who wish to apply for the various posts under the TNPSC Group IV (TNPSC GROUP 4) can only do so by ONLINE Mode only. The payment can be done through offline mode also with the options like payment in specified banks and post offices. This direct recruitment of TNPSC Group IV (TNPSC GROUP 4) is for the various posts under the various departments like Tamilnadu Ministerial Service, Tamilnadu Judicial Ministerial Service, Tamilnadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service and Tamilnadu Secretariat Service.
Today (13th December, 2017) is the last date to apply for the various posts available in the TNPSC GROUP IV (TNPSC GROUP 4). The last date for the payment of the application fees through Banks like State Bank of India and Indian Bank or Post Offices is 15th December 2017.

Exam Fee for TNPSC GROUP 4
- Registration fee for One Time Registration – Rs. 150/-
- Examination Fee for TNPSC GROUP 4 – Rs. 100/-
Applicants have to register their basic particulars through One Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment The One Time Registration will be valid for 5 years from the Date of Registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee. Applicants who have already registered in One Time
Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.

You can choose the any one subject (General English/ General Tamil) during the time of Registration. So for the exam if you have selected General English, you will have the question of General English in only that language and this applies to the Tamil Language also, the other sections will have questions from both the languages. There will be a prescribe cutoff marks for the selection of the TNPSC GROUP 4 Exams.
