SSC CGL Tier II 2017 Results Released : Candidates Appearing in SSC CGL Tier III 2017

Dear SSC Aspirants ,

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has released the results of the SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2017 and the aspirants who have cleared the Tier II Exam are eligible to appear for the Tier III Exam of SSC CGL 2017.

The Staff Selection Commission had conducted Computer Based Examination for Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination – 2017 from 17.02.2018 to 22.02.2018 and re-examination at certain venues on 09.03.2018.

The following is an excerpt from the official notice released by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) and it quotes.

As per Notice of the Examination dated 16.05.2017, marks obtained  by the candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II together are considered for deciding the eligibility of the candidates to appear in Tier-III. Based on the marks in Written Examination in Tier-I and Tier-II and as per cut-off fixed by the Commission, candidates qualifying for Tier-III are as per lists given below:-

List-1: Candidates qualified for appearing in CGLE 2017 (Tier-III) for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer:

Note I: After excluding common candidates, 47,003 candidates are  qualifying for appearing in Tier-III.

Note II: Candidates qualifying in more than one list need to appear in Tier III Examination only once.


The Tier-III (Descriptive Examination) will be held on 08.07.2018. The schedule for Tier-III will be available on the websites of the  concerned  Regional.

Also SSC has released a Corrigendum in result of CGL (Tier-II) Examination, 2017 since there were Typographic errors in the numbers of candidates shown as qualified at UR standards as mentioned in List-2 & List-3 under para-2.

In addition, candidates are also informed that  on  conclusion  of  Tier-III Examination (scheduled to be held on 08-07-2018), based on the performance in Tier- I+Tier-II+Tier-III, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Tier-IV i.e. Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.
