1. 1. Rajiv Ranjan

• He is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.
• The Appointments Committee of the Union cabinet approved the repatriation of Ranjan, who is currently secretary to the department of fisheries, the Union ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, to Tamil Nadu on the request of the state.
• He is to be appointed as the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, as the incumbent Secretary K.Shanmugam’s retirement is on January 29.
• In 2018, Ranjan went on Central deputation and became special secretary of the GST council

• இவர் 1985-ம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்நாடு பிரிவின் ஐ.ஏ.எஸ் அதிகாரி ஆவார்.

• 2018 இல், ரஞ்சன் மத்திய பிரதிநிதித்துவம் மூலம் ஜிஎஸ்டி கவுன்சிலின் சிறப்புச் செயலாளராக ஆனார்.

2. P.Sadasivam

• He is a former Chief Justice of India.
• He succeeded Arif Mohammad Khan as the 40^th
• He was appointed as the Governor of Kerala after his retirement from 2014-2019.
• He currently resides in Erode.
• President of India, Ram Nath Govind has sent a momento to him on occasion of Republic day.

2. ப.சதாசிவம்

• இவர் முன்னாள் இந்திய தலைமை நீதிபதி (CJI) ஆவார்.
• அரிஃப் முகமது கானைத் தொடர்ந்து 40வது தலைமை நீதிபதியாக அவர் பதவியேற்றார்.
• ஓய்வு பெற்றபின் கேரள ஆளுநராக 2014-2019இல் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
• அவர் தற்போது ஈரோட்டில் வசித்து வருகிறார்.
• குடியரசு தின விழாவை முன்னிட்டு இந்திய குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த், அவருக்கு ஒரு நினைவி பரிசையும் கடிதத்தையும் அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.

3. H4 Visa

• Dependents of foreigners working in US are given this Visa – Wife/Husband, children, etc.,
• They are also allowed to work there.
• This Visa had been canceled by Trump recently.
• Now Biden has canceled that order of Trump.
• More than 1 lakh Indians are working in the US with H4 visa.

H1B Visa

• Foreigners working in US are given this visa.

3. எச் 4 நுழைவு இசைவு (விசா) (H4 Visa)

• அமெரிக்காவில் வேலை செய்யும் வெளிநாட்டவர்களைச் சார்ந்தோர்க்கு இந்த நுழைவு இசைவு வழங்கப்படும் – மனைவி / கணவர், குழந்தைகள்,.
• அங்கு அவர்கள் வேலை செய்ய அனுமதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர்.
• இந்த நுழைவு இசைவு சமீபத்தில் டிரம்ப்பால் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டது.
• இப்போது பைடன் டிரம்பின் அந்த உத்தரவை ரத்து செய்துள்ளார் .
• எச்4 நுழைவு இசைவு மூலம் 1 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான இந்தியர்கள் அமெரிக்காவில் வேலை செய்து வருகின்றனர்.

எச்1பி நுழைவு இசைவு (விசா) (H1B Visa)

• அமெரிக்காவில் வேலை செய்யும் வெளிநாட்டவர்களுக்கு இந்த நுழைவு இசைவு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

4. Minimum Support Price (MSP)

• MSP has been announced for Copra.
• MSP has been recommended by Committee on Agricultural Cost and Prices (CACP) and announced by the Ministry of Agriculture.
• MSP for copra is applicable for major coconut producing States.

Milling copra

• In 2020 – 1 quintal (100kg) = RS.9,960 (I kg = Rs.99.6)
• In 2021 -1 quintal (100kg) = RS.10,335 (I kg = Rs.103.35)
• 335 per quintal has been increased.

Ball copra

• In 2020 – 1 quintal (100kg) = RS.10,300 (I kg = Rs.103)
• In 2021 -1 quintal (100kg) = RS.10,600 (I kg = Rs.106)
• 300 per quintal has been increased.

• விவசாய செலவு மற்றும் விலைகள் பற்றிய குழுவினால் (CACP) எம்.எஸ்.பி பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டு, விவசாய அமைச்சகத்தினால் அறிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• பிரதானமாக தேங்காய் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் மாநிலங்களுக்கு எம்.எஸ்.பி அறிவிக்கப்படும்.

11. Digital water meters

By February, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and sewerage board  (CMWWSSB)  is about to complete its installation of Digital water meters with automated digital reading in all commercial buildings in the city. The project is funded under Smart city Mission.

பிப்ரவரி மாதத்திற்குள், சென்னை பெருநகர குடிநீர் வழங்கல் மற்றும் கழிவுநீர் அகற்றல் வாரியம் (CMWWSSB) நகரத்தின் அனைத்து வணிக கட்டிடங்களிலும் தானியங்கி டிஜிட்டல் வாசிப்புடன் கூடிய டிஜிட்டல் நீர் மீட்டர்களை நிறுவும் திட்டத்தை நிறைவு செய்ய உள்ளது. இந்த திட்டத்திற்கு ஸ்மார்ட் சிட்டி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நிதி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது.

12. Tatkal LPG

Tatkal LPG will be initially launched in Vellore on trial basis by the Indian oil Corporation for single bottle customers. For SBC, bookings will be taken in online with the additional payment of Rs. 25 per cylinder and the cylinder will be refilled in 2 hours after the online booking.

After the video app TikTok was banned by Indian government, the parent company Bytedance from china has terminated its Indian service completely on Jan 27, 2021.

இந்திய அரசாங்கம் டிக்டாக் என்ற வீடியோ செயலியை தடைசெய்த பின்னர், சீனாவின் ஊடக நிறுவனமான ‘பைட்டேன்ஸ்’ தனது இந்திய சேவையை முழுமையாக நிறுத்திக் கொள்வதாக ஜனவரி 27, 2021 அன்று தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

15. Censure of IAS officers

Andhra Pradesh State election commission has censured two IAS officers on the grounds of failing in discharging their duties in Gram panchayat elections. But the state government has objected the recommendation issued by SEC and would communicate the decision in a proper manner to the poll body as it will affect the service records of the officers.

16. Haridaspur

Haridaspur, a remote village in Telangana celebrates the birth of every girl child by distributing sweets and lighting lamps. It is because of the sukanya samriddi yojana scheme implemented by the union government.

Sukanya samriddi yojana was launched by PM as part of the Beti Bachao, Beto padhao campaingn in 2015. It is a savings scheme account and can be opened at any Indian post office or authorized commercial banks with the interest rate of 7.6%.

16. ஹரிதாஸ்பூர்

தெலுங்கானாவின் தொலைதூர கிராமமான ஹரிதாஸ்பூர், ஒவ்வொரு பெண் குழந்தையின் பிறப்பையும் இனிப்புகள் வழங்கியும்  விளக்குகள் ஏற்றியும்  கொண்டாடி வருகிறது. இதற்கு காரணமாக மத்திய அரசு அமல்படுத்திய சுகன்யா சம்ரிதி யோஜனா திட்டம் உள்ளது.

சுகன்யா சம்ரிதி யோஜனா, 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பெண் குழந்தைகளை காப்போம், கற்பிப்போம் (பேட்டி பச்சாவோ, பேட்டி பதாவோ) பிரச்சாரத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக பிரதமரால் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்த சேமிப்பு திட்ட கணக்கை எந்த இந்திய தபால் நிலையத்திலும் அல்லது அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட வணிக வங்கிகளிலும் 7.6% வட்டி விகிதத்துடன் திறந்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.
