TAMIL NADU

1. Uma Maheshwari IAS is appointed as TNPSC Secretary

• Uma Maheshwari IAS has been appointed as the Secretary of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Uma Maheshwari, who was the Collector of Pudukottai, has been appointed as the Secretary of TNPSC. She has replaced Nandakumar, who was the then Secretary of the Commission.
• Kiran Kurala IAS has been appointed as the Controller of Examinations of TNPSC.
• The Secretary of the Commission has been appointed with the approval of the Governor of Tamil Nadu as per the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Act, 1954.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC)

• Madras Presidency was the first province in India to establish their own service commission. The Madras Service Commission was established in 1929. The Madras Service Commission became the Madras Public Service Commission in 1957. The Madras Public Service Commission was renamed as the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) in 1970.

• தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையச் (TNPSC) செயலாளராக உமா மகேஸ்வரி ஐஏஎஸ் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். புதுக்கோட்டை ஆட்சியராக இருந்த உமா மகேஸ்வரி, டிஎன்பிஎஸ்சி செயலாளராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இவர் தேர்வாணையத்தின் செயலாளராக இருந்த நந்தகுமாருக்கு பதிலாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
• தேர்வாணையத்தின் தேர்வுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு அலுவலராக கிரண் குராலா ஐஏஎஸ் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
• தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையச் சட்டம், 1954இன் படி தமிழக ஆளுநரின் ஒப்புதலோடு தேர்வாணையத்தின் செயலாளர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் (TNPSC)

• இந்தியாவில் தனக்கென தனியாக பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் அமைத்த முதல் மாகாணம் மதராஸ் மாகாணம்ஆகும். மதராஸ் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் 1929ஆம் ஆண்டு நிறுவப்பட்டது. மதராஸ் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் 1957ஆம் ஆண்டு மதராஸ் அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையமாக மாறியது. மதராஸ் அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் 1970ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் (TNPSC) என பெயர் மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டது.

2. Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates new scheme for children who lost their parents due to COVID-19

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated a new scheme for children who have lost their parents due to COVID-19.
• The Government also deposited three lakh rupees to Children who have lost one of the parents due to COVID. The Government also plans to pay 3000 rupees per month to those who are having the custody of the orphaned children. This amount could be used after the children attain 18 years of age.

2. கோவிட்-19இன் காரணமாக பெற்றோரை இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கான புதிய திட்டத்தை தமிழக முதல்வர் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்

• கோவிட்-19 காரணமாக பெற்றோரை இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கான புதிய திட்டத்தை தமிழக முதல்வர் மு. க. ஸ்டாலின் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• இத்திட்டம் மூலம் இரண்டு பெற்றோரையும் இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஐந்து லட்சம் ரூபாய் வைப்புத் தொகை வழங்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் அவர்கள் 18 வயதை அடையும் வரை அவர்களின் கல்வியை அரசு கவனித்துக் கொள்கிறது. இந்த தொகை தமிழ்நாடு மின்சக்தி நிதி மற்றும் உள்கட்டமைப்பு மேம்பாட்டுக் கழகத்தில் முதலீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• கோவிட் காரணமாக பெற்றோரில் ஒருவரை இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு மூன்று லட்சம் ரூபாய் வைப்புத் தொகை வழங்கப்படுகிறது. ஆதரவற்ற குழந்தைகளை கவனிப்போருக்கு மாதம் ரூ. 3000 வழங்க அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது. அக்குழந்தைகள் 18 வயதை அடைந்த பிறகு இந்த தொகையைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம்.

3. TRAI launches TV Channel Selector Portal

• Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched TV Channel Selector Portal. This portal will facilitate those subscribers who do not own a mobile phone but want to use a web browser for selection of TV channels.
• The subscribers can choose their channel of interest and remove the unwanted channels.

3. TRAI டிவி சேனல் தேர்வு வளைத்தளத்தை அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது

• இந்திய தொலைத்தொடர்பு ஒழுங்குமுறை ஆணையம் (TRAI) டிவி சேனல் தேர்வு வளைத்தளத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்த வளைத்தளம் மொபைல் போன் இல்லாமல் டிவி சேனல்களை தேர்வு செய்ய வலை உலாவி (Browser) பயன்படுத்த விரும்பும் சந்தாதாரர்களுக்கு உதவும்.
• சந்தாதாரர்கள் தங்களுக்கு பிடித்த சேனலைத் தேர்வு செய்து தேவையற்ற சேனல்களை அகற்றலாம்.

4. Three Centres of Excellence inaugurated in Karnataka under Indo-Israel Agricultural Project

• Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar and Chief Minister of Karnataka S. Yediyurappa jointly inaugurated three centres of Excellence in Karnataka under the Indo-Israel Agricultural Project.
• The centres are:

1. Kolar – Mango
2. Bagalkote – Pomegranate
3. Dharwad – Vegetables

• Under this project, 29 Centres of Excellence are to be set up in 12 states in India. It includes demonstrating the best practices and training farmers.

4. இந்தியா–இஸ்ரேல் வேளாண் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 3 திறன்மிகு மையங்கள் கர்நாடகாவில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன

• இந்தியா– இஸ்ரேல்வேளாண் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் கர்நாடகாவில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ள 3 திறன்மிகு மையங்களை அம்மாநில முதல்வர் பி எஸ் எடியூரப்பா மற்றும் மத்திய வேளாண் மற்றும்                                விவசாயிகள் நல அமைச்சர் நரேந்திர சிங் தோமர் திறந்து               வைத்தனர்.
• மையங்கள்:

1. கோலார்               – மாம்பழம்
2. பாகல்கோடு      – மாதுளை
3. தார்வாடு              – காய்கறி

• இத்திட்டத்தின்கீழ்இந்தியாவில்12 மாநிலங்களில் 29 சிறப்பு மையங்கள் அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளன. இத்திறன்மிகுமையங்கள் சிறந்த நடைமுறைகளுக்கு செய்முறை விளக்கம் அளித்து மற்றும் விவசாயிகளுக்கு பயிற்சிகளை அளிக்கின்றன.

5. Cabinet approves Deep Ocean Mission

• The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the proposal of Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) on ‘Deep Ocean Mission’. It aims to explore deep ocean for resources and develop deep sea technologies for sustainable use of ocean resources.
• The estimated cost of the Mission will be Rs. 4077 crore for a period of 5 years. Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) will be the nodal Ministry implementing this multi-institutional ambitious mission.
• United Nations (UN) has declared the decade, 2021-2030 as the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. The Government of India’s Vision of New India by 2030 highlighted the Blue Economy as one of the ten core dimensions of growth.

5. ஆழ்கடல் ஆய்வு திட்டத்திற்கு மத்திய அமைச்சரவை குழு ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது

• மத்தியபுவி அறிவியல் அமைச்சகத்தின் ஆழ்கடல் ஆய்வு திட்டத்துக்கு பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான பொருளாதார விவகாரங்களுக்கான அமைச்சரவை குழு ஒப்புதல்  அளித்துள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் ஆழ்கடல் வளங்கள் ஆராயப்பட்டு    நிலையான பயன்பாட்டுக்கான ஆழ்கடல் தொழில்நுட்பங்கள்     உருவாக்கப்படும்.
• 5 ஆண்டுகாலத்துக்கு அமல்படுத்தப்படவுள்ள இந்த ஆழ்கடல்              ஆய்வு திட்டத்தின் செலவு ரூ.4077 கோடியாக இருக்கும். இந்த லட்சிய திட்டத்தை புவி அறிவியல் அமைச்சகம்                                அமல்படுத்தும்.
• 2021 முதல்2030ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையிலான 10 ஆண்டு காலத்தை,             நிலையான வளர்ச்சிக்கான கடல் அறிவியல் தசாப்தமாக                    ஐ. நா அறிவித்துள்ளது. 2030ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் புதிய இந்தியாவை உருவாக்க வேண்டும்              என்ற மத்திய அரசின் தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையில் வளர்ச்சியின் 10 முக்கிய பரிமாணங்களில் கடல் பொருளாதாரமும் ஒன்றாக  உள்ளது.

6. IIT Bombay hosts Conference of BRICS Network Universities as part of 13^th BRICS Summit

• A three day virtual Conference of BRICS Network Universities on the theme of electric mobilitywas inaugurated at IIT Bombay. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was the Chief Guest.
• BRICS Network University is a union of higher education institutions of the five BRICS member countries, formed with the objective of enhancing educational cooperation in general, and especially in the realm of research and innovation. IIT Bombay is the lead institution of India for the BRICS Network University.

6. பிரிக்ஸ் அமைப்பின் 13வது உச்சி மாநாட்டின் ஒரு பகுதியாக பிரிக்ஸ் நெட்வொர்க் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் மாநாட்டை மும்பை ஐஐடி நடத்துகிறது

• பிரிக்ஸ் நெட்வொர்க் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் மூன்று நாள் மெய்நிகர் மாநாடு மின்சார இயக்கம் என்ற கருப்பொருள் குறித்து இன்று பம்பாய் ஐஐடியில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் மத்திய அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி ஆவார்.
• பிரிக்ஸ் நெட்வொர்க் பல்கலைக்கழகம் என்பது பிரிக்ஸ் உறுப்பு நாடுகளின் உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் ஒன்றியமாகும். இது பொதுவாக கல்வி ஒத்துழைப்பை, குறிப்பாக ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் கண்டுபிடிப்புதுறையில் மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்துடன் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. பிரிக்ஸ் நெட்வொர்க் பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கான இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி நிறுவனமாக ஐஐடி பம்பாய் உள்ளது.

7. Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Union Ministry of Culture sign an MoU for Cooperation in Development of National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal

• Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) and Union Ministry of Culture (MoC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Cooperation in Development of National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, Gujarat.
• National Maritime Heritage Complex, a world-class facility is to be developed in the vicinity of the ASI site of Lothal, Gujarat. NMHC would be developed with various unique structures such as National Maritime Heritage Museum, Light House Museum, Heritage Theme Park, Museum Themed Hotels and Maritime themed eco-resorts, Maritime Institute etc.
• Lothal city is one of the prominent cities of the ancient Indus valley civilization dating to 2400 BC.

7. லோத்தலில் தேசிய கடல்சார் பாரம்பரிய வளாகத்தை உருவாக்குவதற்கு மத்திய கலாச்சார அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் துறைமுகங்கள் அமைச்சகங்களுக்கு இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்திடப்பட்டது

• குஜராத் மாநிலம் லோத்தலில் உள்ள தேசிய கடல்சார் பாரம்பரிய வளாகத்தின் மேம்பாட்டில் ஒத்துழைப்புக்கான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் மத்திய துறைமுகங்கள், கப்பல் மற்றும் நீர்வழிகள் அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் மத்திய கலாச்சார அமைச்சகம் (எம்.ஓ.சி)ஆகியவை கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளன.
• குஜராத்தின் லோத்தல் ஏஎஸ்ஐ தளத்திற்கு அருகாமையில் உலகத்தரம் வாய்ந்த வசதியான தேசிய கடல்சார் பாரம்பரிய வளாகம் உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளது. தேசிய கடல்சார் பாரம்பரிய அருங்காட்சியகம், லைட் ஹவுஸ் அருங்காட்சியகம், பாரம்பரிய தீம் பார்க், அருங்காட்சியக கருப்பொருள் ஹோட்டல்கள் மற்றும் கடல்சார் கருப்பொருள் சுற்றுச்சூழல் ரிசார்ட்டுகள், கடல்சார் நிறுவனம் போன்ற பல்வேறு தனித்துவமான கட்டமைப்புகளுடன் என்.எம்.எச்.சி உருவாக்கப்படும்.
• லோத்தல் நகரம் கிமு 2400ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையிலான பண்டைய சிந்து சமவெளி நாகரிகத்தின் முக்கிய நகரங்களில் ஒன்றாகும்.

8. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Arjun Munda launches ‘Adi Prashikshan Portal’

• Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda launched ‘Adi Prashikshan Portal’ and inaugurated a three-day training programme on ‘Capacity Building Training of Master Trainers for ST PRI Members’ as part of Azadi ka AmritMahotsav in New Delhi.
• ‘Adi Prashikshan Portal’ was developed by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs would act as a Central Repository of all training programs conducted by Tribal Research Institutes (TRIs), different divisions of Ministry, National Society for Education of Tribal Students (NESTS), Centre of Excellences funded by Ministry of Tribal Affairs and National Tribal Research Institute.
• Arjun Munda also inaugurated  a  three day training programme on ‘Capacity Building Training of Master Trainers For ST PRI Members’ jointly organised by National Tribal Research Institute and Tribal Research & Development Institute, Government. of Madhya Pradesh.

8. மத்திய பழங்குடியினர் விவகாரத்துறை அமைச்சர் அர்ஜுன் முண்டா ‘ஆதிபிரஷிக்ஷன் வளைத்தளத்தை‘ தொடங்கி வைத்தார்

• மத்திய பழங்குடியினர் விவகாரத்துறை அமைச்சர் அர்ஜூன் முண்டா‘ஆதிபிரஷிக்ஷன் வளைத்தளத்தை‘ தொடங்கி வைத்தார். புது தில்லியில் ஆசாதி கா அமிர்த மஹோத்சவ் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக ‘பழங்குடி பஞ்சாயத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கான சிறந்த பயிற்சியாளர்களின் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு பயிற்சி’ குறித்த மூன்று நாள் பயிற்சியை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• பழங்குடியினர் விவகார அமைச்சகத்தால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஆதி பிரஷிக்ஷன் வளைத்தளம், பழங்குடியினர் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனங்கள் (TRI), அமைச்சகத்தின் பல்வேறு பிரிவுகள், பழங்குடியின மாணவர்களின் கல்விக்கான தேசிய சங்கம் (NESTS), பழங்குடியினர் விவகாரங்கள் அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் தேசிய பழங்குடியினர் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தால் நிதியளிக்கப்படும் சிறப்பு மையம் ஆகியவற்றால் நடத்தப்படும் அனைத்து பயிற்சி திட்டங்களின் மத்திய களஞ்சியமாக செயல்படும்.
• மத்தியப் பிரதேச அரசின் தேசிய பழங்குடியினர் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் மற்றும் பழங்குடியினர் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனம் இணைந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த ‘பழங்குடி பஞ்சாயத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கான சிறந்த பயிற்சியாளர்களின் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு பயிற்சி’ குறித்த மூன்று நாள் பயிற்சியையும் அர்ஜுன் முண்டா தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

9. India extends $100 million LoC to Sri Lanka for Solar Energy Projects

• India has signed an agreement extending a $100 million Line of Credit (LOC) to Sri Lanka for projects in the Solar Energy Sector.
• The agreement was signed between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM).
• India has become the first country to partner with Sri Lanka in fulfilling the vision of Sri Lanka to ensure that 70% of Sri Lanka’s national power requirements are fulfilled by renewable energy sources by 2030

9. சூரிய சக்தி திட்டங்களுக்காக இந்தியா இலங்கைக்கு 100 மில்லியன் டாலர் வழங்கியுள்ளது

• சூரிய சக்தித் திட்டங்களுக்கு இலங்கைக்கு 100 மில்லியன் டாலர் கடன் வழங்கும் ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இந்தியா கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளது.
• இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்திற்கும் இந்திய ஏற்றுமதி இறக்குமதி வங்கிக்கும் (EXIM) இடையே இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தானது.
• இதன் மூலம் 2030ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஆதாரங்களால் இலங்கையின் 70% தேசிய மின் தேவைகள் பூர்த்தி செய்யப்படுவதை உறுதி செய்யும் இலங்கையின் தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையை நிறைவேற்றுவதில் இலங்கையுடன் கூட்டு சேர்ந்த முதல் நாடாக இந்தியா மாறியுள்ளது.

10. China sends its first crew to new space station

• China launched Shenzhou-12 spaceship carrying three astronauts by a Long March-2F Y12 rocket from Jiuquan launch centre in northwestern China.
• Beijing didn’t participate in the International Space Station. Once completed, the station will allow for stays of up to six months.
• Tianhe, core capsule of the Chinese space station was launched last month and it made uncontrolled re-entry into the Earth’s orbit.

10. சீனா தனது முதல் குழுவினரை புதிய விண்வெளி நிலையத்திற்கு அனுப்புகிறது

• வடமேற்கு சீனாவில் உள்ள ஜியுகுவான் ஏவுதளத்தில் இருந்து லாங் மார்ச்-2F Y12 ராக்கெட் மூலம் மூன்று விண்வெளி வீரர்களை ஏற்றிச் சென்ற ஷென்சோ-12 விண்கலத்தை சீனா செலுத்தியது.
• பெய்ஜிங், சர்வதேச விண்வெளி நிலைய திட்டத்தில்(ISS) பங்கேற்கவில்லை. இந்த புது நிலையத்தில் ஆறு மாதங்கள் வரை தங்க முடியும்.
• சீன விண்வெளி நிலையத்தின் முக்கிய காப்ஸ்யூலான டியான்ஹே கடந்த மாதம் அனுப்பப்பட்டது மற்றும் அது பூமியின் சுற்றுப்பாதையில் கட்டுப்பாடற்ற மறு நுழைவு செய்தது.

• World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought is observed every year on 17 June. The day aims to remind everyone that land degradation neutrality is achievable through problem-solving, strong community involvement and co-operation at all levels.
• Theme 2021: ‘Restoration.Land.Recovery. We build back better with healthy land’
• India has set up a target to restore 26 million hectares of degraded land by 2030.

11. சர்வதேச பாலைவனமாதல் மற்றும் வறட்சியை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதற்கான தினம் – 17 ஜூன்

• சர்வதேச பாலைவனமாதல் மற்றும் வறட்சியை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதற்கான தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 17 ஜூன் அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. அனைத்து மட்டங்களிலும் சிக்கலை தீர்த்தல், வலுவான சமூக ஈடுபாடு மற்றும் ஒத்துழைப்பு மூலம் நில சீரழிவு நடுநிலைமை அடையக்கூடியது என்பதை அனைவருக்கும் நினைவூட்டுவதை இந்த நாள் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
