Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited the application for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). 35,902 vacancies are reported across different Railway Recruitment Board(RRB)s. The Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) positions include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Railway Boards.

FORGOT your RRB NTPC 2020 Registration – Steps to Follow

Step 1: Go to the RRB Regional Websites which are mentioned above.

Step 2: In RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) 2020 Section, find the Application status here link. 

Step 3: The Link for checking the Online Application Status will be active from 21st September, 2020 to 30th September, 2020

Step 4: Click the “Forgot Registration Number” on the next subsequent page.

Step 5: Select the “REGION” in the Next Page.

Step 6: On the Next page, Please provide your Registered Mobile Number, Registered Email ID and Your Date of Birth and Enter the CAPTCHA provided there and then click GET DETAILS.

If you have applied for the RRB NTPC 2019 – 2020, then you will get the REGISTRATION NUMBER of RRB NTPC 2019 – 2020.

RRB NTPC 2020- Selection Process

Aspirants opting for RRB NTPC should know the Selection Procedure of the recruitment. Students will be selected based on the marks scored in the first & second stage whereas other stages will be qualifying in nature. 

There will be two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).

Lastly, there will be document verification and medical examination.

For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be two-stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.

Also Normalization will also play an important factor in this RRB NTPC Recruitment 2020.

Short Listing for Various Stages:

RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 20 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration). The short listing for 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT.

The short listing for Skill Tests such as Computer based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT.
