1.One in five Indians Affected by coronavirus:

• The serological survey by the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR) has found that one in five Indians had been affected by the coronavirus, until December 2020.
• Adding to that 270 Billion people may have been affected by the virus.

1. இந்தியவில் 5இல் ஒருவர் கரோனா வைரஸினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்:

• இந்திய மருத்துவ ஆராய்ச்சிக் கவுன்சிலின் செரோலாஜிகல் கணக்கெடுப்பில், டிசம்பர் 2020 வரை, ஐந்து இந்தியர்களில் ஒருவர் கரோனா வைரஸினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கண்டறிந்துள்ளது.

• மேலும் 270 பில்லியன் மக்கள் இந்த வைரசினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கலாம்.

2.Chief Minister Opens new projects:

• Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palaniswami opens various new projects such as Drinking water programs, new housing tenements for the economically weaker section, through video conference.

2. புதிய திட்டங்களை முதல்வர் திறந்து வைத்தார்:

• முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி கே.பழனிசாமி அவர்கள், குடிநீர் திட்டங்கள், பொருளாதாரத்தில் நலிவுற்ற பிரிவினருக்கான புதிய வீடுகள், மற்றும் பல திட்டங்களை காணொளி காட்சி மூலம் திறந்து வைத்தார்.

3.Tangedco takes a new step:

• Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (Tangedco) takes a digital medium to ease the work of getting new connections to the house and industries, and to reduce corruption.
• This system has also the facility to file the complaint and to give feedback.
• The applicants can get the details of their status of the application, and to get electricity connection within 30 days.

3.தமிழ்நாடு மின் பகிற்மான கழகத்தின் புதிய நடவடிக்கைகள்:

• தமிழ்நாடு மின் பகிற்மான கழகம்(Tangedco), வீடு மற்றும் தொழிற்சாலைகளுக்கு புதிய இணைப்புகளைப் பெறும் வேலையை எளிதாக்கவும், ஊழலைக் குறைக்கவும் டிஜிட்டல் ஊடகத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறது.
• இந்த முறை மூலம் புகார்களை மனு தாக்கல் செய்யவும், கருத்துக்களை தெரிவிக்கவும் வசதி உள்ளது.
• விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தின் நிலை மற்றும் 30 நாட்களுக்குள் மின் இணைப்பு பெற முடியும்.

4.World Cancer day:

• Every year February 4, is celebrated as World Cancer day.
• Theme of this year is:

                  “I AM AND I WILL”

• To recognize the efforts and to express gratitude to the Medical specialists, doctors and patients of cancer, Apollo Hospitals has launched Hand print Campaign. Four survivors from various parts of the country also participated in the program.

4.உலக புற்றுநோய் தினம்:

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பிப்ரவரி 4ஆம் நாள் உலக புற்றுநோய் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
• இந்த ஆண்டின் கருப்பொருள்:

            “என்னால் முடியும்”( I AM AND I WILL).

5.Awards for Women Entrepreneurs:

• On the Occasion of the 89^th birth anniversary of Jaya Arunachalam, award will be given to the women Entrepreneurs.
• Jaya Arunachalam is a legendary social worker who worked for the women empowerment.
• The Working Women’s forum a social organization will be giving awards to the women entrepreneurs across the south India.

5. பெண் தொழில் முனைவோருக்கு விருதுகள்:

• ஜெய அருணாச்சலத்தின் 89வது பிறந்த நாளையொட்டி, பெண் தொழில் முனைவோருக்கு விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

6. 3-Day defence expo:

• A 3 days defence expo will be held in March 19 to 21 at the Chennai trade centre.
• This is organized by the Swantantra Foundation, a Chennai based policy research and institution, and the Aerospace Industry Development Association of Tamil Nadu.
• The ‘Defence Expo Empowering MSME -21’, is conducting the expo with the aim to connect MSMEs with end users in the defence services.

6. 3 நாள் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகத்தின் கண்காட்சி:

• சென்னை வர்த்தக மையத்தில் 3 நாள் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகத்தின் கண்காட்சி மார்ச் 19 இல் இருந்து 21 வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது.

7.India is ready to supply:

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, made a collaboration to build a partnership among the countries in the Indian Ocean Region.
• He added that, India is ready to supply various types of missile systems, Light combat aircraft(LCA), helicopters, multipurpose light transport aircraft, warship and patrol vessels, artillery gun systems, tanks, radars, military vehicles, electronic warfare systems to the Indian Ocean Region.

7.இந்தியா வழங்க தயார்:

• பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் இந்திய பெருங்கடல் பகுதியில் உள்ள நாடுகளிடையே ஒத்துழைப்பை ஏற்படுத்த இனைந்து செயல்படுவதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
• மேலும், இந்திய பெருங்கடல் பிராந்தியத்திற்கு பல்வேறு வகையான ஏவுகணை அமைப்புகள், இலகு ரக போர் விமானங்கள், ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள், பல்நோக்கு இலகு ரக போக்குவரத்து விமானங்கள், போர்க்கப்பல் மற்றும் ரோந்து கப்பல்கள், பீரங்கி கள், ராடார்கள், ராணுவ வாகனங்கள், மின்னணு போர் அமைப்புகள் ஆகியவற்றை அவற்றுக்கு வழங்க இந்தியா தயாராக உள்ளது எனவும் கூறியுள்ளார்.

8.Chief Minister Launches parking system:

• Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palaniswami launched Vehicle parking management system to effectively use the parking space available.
• The first phase of the project has been launched in Anna nagar, T.nagar and besant nagar.
• He also launched the drainage scheme to be benefitted for 1.53 lakh houses around Chennai.
• And also he launched Digital water level recorders in 200 areas around the city.
• He also unveils the foundation stone for the construction of dams, and also for the foundation for new cancer treatment facilities.

8.வாகன நிறுத்துமிட வசதியை முதல்வர் துவங்கி வைத்தார்:

• முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி கே.பழனிசாமி வாகன நிறுத்தம் மேலாண்மை அமைப்பை  கிடைக்கக்கூடிய இடத்தை வைத்து திறம்பட பயன்படுத்த துவக்கி வைத்தார்.
• முதற்கட்டமாக அண்ணா நகர், தி.நகர், பெசன்ட் நகர் ஆகிய இடங்களில் பணிகள் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• சென்னையை சுற்றியுள்ள 1.53 லட்சம் வீடுகளுக்கு குடிநீர் வழங்கும் திட்டத்தையும் அவர் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• மேலும் நகரின் 200 பகுதிகளில் டிஜிட்டல் நீர் மட்ட பதிவு செய்யும் கருவியையும் அவர் தொடங்கினார்.
• மேலும், அணைகள் கட்டுவதற்கான அடிக்கல் நாட்டுவிழா, புற்றுநோய் சிகிச்சைக்கான அடிக்கல் நாட்டுவிழா, ஆகியவற்றையும் அவர் திறந்து வைத்தார்.

9. Park for Cancer patients:

• Chennai corporation has developed a park for the cancer patients, at the banks of the Buckingham canal near the cancer institute in Adyar.
• This park has been designed to reduce the depression and anxiety of the patients.
• Among these the largest one is being developed at the Thiru.Vi.Ka Nagar zone.

9. புற்று நோயாளிகளுக்கான பூங்கா:

• அடையாறு புற்றுநோய் மருத்துவமனை அருகே, பக்கிங்ஹாம் கால்வாய் கரையில், புற்று நோயாளிகளுக்கான பூங்கா அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த பூங்கா நோயாளிகளின் மன அழுத்தம் மற்றும் பதட்டத்தை குறைக்க வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இவற்றில் மிகப் பெரிய பூங்கா ஒன்று திரு.வி.க.நகர் பகுதியில் உருவாக்கப்படுகிறது.

10. Boeing agreement with Air Works of India :

• The Aircraft manufacturer Boeing announced a collaboration with the Air Works of India for the maintenance, repair of the P-81 long-range maritime patrol aircraft and the VIP transport fleet in the Indian Air Force.
• The navy operates nine P-81 and it will receive another by year end.

10. ஏர் ஒர்க்ஸ் ஆப் இந்தியா நிறுவனத்துடன் போயிங் ஒப்பந்தம்:

• இந்திய விமானப் படையில் பி-81 ரக நீண்ட தூர கடல் ரோந்து விமானங்களை பழுது பார்க்கும், பராமரிப்பு பணிகள், இந்திய விமானப் படையில் உள்ள விஐபி போக்குவரத்து விமானங்கள் ஆகிய பணிகளுக்காக இந்திய விமானப் படையுடன் போயிங் நிறுவனம் இணைந்து செயல்பட உள்ளதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.
• கடற்படை பி-81 இல் ஒன்பது ஐ இயக்குகிறது, மேலும் ஒன்று ஆண்டு இறுதியில் வந்தடையும்.

11. Turtle Conservationist Award:

• TREE foundation’s founder Supraja Dharini, has been awarded a place in the inaugural Explorers Club-50 People Changing the world, to encourage her work in protecting sea turtles.

11. ஆமை பாதுகாப்பாளர் விருது:

• கடல் ஆமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதில் அவர் மேற்கொண்ட பணிகளை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காகவவும், ஆய்வு பணியாளர்கள் பட்டியல்-50 உலகை மாற்றுகிறார்கள் இல்(Explorers Club-50 People Changing the world) ஒருவராக TREE அறக்கட்டளையின் நிறுவனர் சுப்ரஜா தரினிக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

12. Rajiv Gandhi murder case

• Seven persons, including Perarivalan, who were arrested in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, has been serving 30 years of punishment.
• An affidavit has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Centre on the issue of the release of Perarivalan.
• TN governor, Banwarilal Purohit, had examined the documents and in his order dated January 25, he announced that only the president has the right to deal with the reduction of the sentence in this sensitive case.

12. ராஜீவ் காந்தி கொலை வழக்கு

• முன்னாள் பிரதமர் ராஜீவ் காந்தி கொலை வழக்கில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள பேரறிவாளன் உட்பட 7 பேர் சுமார் 30 ஆண்டுகளாக தண்டனை அனுபவித்து வருகின்றனர்.
• பேரறிவாளனை விடுவிக்க கோரும் விவகாரத்தில், உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் மத்திய அரசு சார்பாக பிரமாணப் பத்திரம் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• அதில், இது தொடர்பான ஆவணங்களை தமிழக ஆளுநர் பன்வாரிலால் புரோஹித் பரிசீலித்துவிட்டு, ஜனவரி 25-ம் தேதியிட்ட அவர் உத்தரவில், தண்டனை குறைப்பை கையாளும் அதிகார உரிமை குடியரசுத் தலைவரிடம் மட்டுமே உள்ளதாக பதிவு செய்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

13. Serum Institute – UNICEF

• The serum Institute of India is now producing the corona vaccine ‘Covishield’ developed by Oxford University in Britain and also got the rights to manufacture another corona vaccine developed by Novax manufacturers in US.
• As India and several other countries allowed to use ‘Covishield’ vaccine, UNICEF has signed a long-term agreement with Serum Institute of India to provide vaccine to each and everyone in the world.

13. சீரம் நிறுவனம் – யுனிசெஃப்

• சீரம் நிறுவனம் ‘கோவிஷீல்ட்’ என்னும் பிரிட்டனின் ஆக்ஸ்ஃபோர்ட் பல்கலைக்கழகம் உருவாக்கிய கரோனா தடுப்புசீயை தயாரிப்பதோடு, அமெரிக்காவின் நோவாக்ஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் கரோனா தடுப்பூசியை தயாரிக்கும் உரிமையையும் பெற்றுள்ளது.
• இந்தியா மற்றும் பல நாடுகள் ‘கோவிஷீல்ட்’ தடுப்பூசிக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கியுள்ள நிலையில், ஐ.நா வின் யுனிசெஃப் அமைப்பு உலக நாடுகளிலுள்ள அனைவருக்கும் தடுப்பூசி கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்னும் நோக்கில், சீரம் நிறுவனத்திடம் நீண்டகால அடிப்படையில் தடுப்பூசி விநியோகிக்க ஒப்பந்தம் செய்துள்ளது.

14. Online Gambling

• The Tamil Nadu Government has passed an ordinance banning online gambling and now the Bill has been introduced in the Assembly.
• The Bill will be passed in the House by voice vote on February 5.

14. ஆன்லைன் சூதாட்டம்

• தமிழக அரசு இணையவழியில் சூதாட்டம் விளையாட தடை விதித்து அவசர சட்டம் பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிலையில், அதை பேரவையில் நிறைவேற்றும் பொருட்டு, சட்ட மசோதா தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• பிப்ரவரி 5-ல், குரல் வாக்கெடுப்பு மூலமாக பேரவையில் இந்த சட்ட மசோதா நிறைவேற்றப்படும்.

15. Mini satellites

• In memory of the late President A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation, Space Zone India and Martin Groups are working to launch 100 Mini satellites designed by students of government and private schools to achieve Guinness record.
• The Satellite developed by two students of Pennathur Government School, Vellore to calculate the cosmic radius in the ozone layer and 100 seeds to study the weather conditions in the Galaxy.
• This 100 mini satellites will be launched by giant balloon on February 7.

15. சிறிய செயற்கைக்கோள்கள்

• மறைந்த முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ஏ.பி.ஜே அப்துல் கலாம் நினைவாக, டாக்டர் ஏ.பி.ஜே அப்துல் கலாம் சர்வதேச அறக்கட்டளை, ஸ்பேஸ் சோன் இந்தியா, மார்டின் குரூப்ஸ் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து அரசு, தனியார் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் தயாரிக்கும் 100 மிகச்சிறிய செயற்கோள்களை விண்ணில் செலுத்தி, கின்னஸ் சாதனை செய்யும் முயற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.
• இதில் வேலூரின் பென்னாத்தூர் அரசு பள்ளியைச் சேர்ந்த இரு மாணவர்கள் ஓசோன் படலத்தின் மீத உள்ள காஸ்மிக் ரேடியஸ் குறித்து கணக்கீடு செய்யவும், 100 விதைகளை அனுப்பி வழிமண்டலத்தில் உள்ள தட்பவெப்ப நிலை குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்யவும் உருவாக்கிய செயற்கைக்கோளுக்கு மார்டின் குரூப்ஸ் தொண்டு நிறுவனம் நிதியுதவி செய்துள்ளது.
• இந்த 100 சிறிய செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் வரும் பிப்ரவரி 7 –ல் ராட்சத பலூன் மூலம் விண்ணில் செலுத்தப்பட உள்ளது.

16. Naruvee Hospital

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will inaugurate the ‘Naruvee’ hospital in Vellore city through video conferencing.
• The aim of the hospital is to provide world class treatment at a very low cost, the hospital’s president G.V. Sampath has said.
• GE’s robots will be launched in this hospital for the first time in South Asia.

16. நறுவீ மருத்துவமனை

• தமிழக முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி க. பழனிசாமி அவர்கள், வேலூர் மாநகரில் அதிநவீன வசதிகளுடன் கூடிய ‘நறுவீ’ மருத்துவமனையை காணொலிக் காட்சி மூலம் திறந்து வைக்கிறார்.
• டிஜிட்டல் முறையில் செயல்பட உள்ள இந்த மருத்துவமனையின் நோக்கம், மிகக் குறந்த கட்டணத்தில் உலகத்தரமான சிகிச்சையை அளிப்பதே என மருத்துவமனையின் தலைவர் ஜி.வி. சம்பத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
• ஜிஇ நிறுவனத்தின் ரோபாட்டிக் கேதலாக் தெற்காசியாவில் முதல் முறையாக இங்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளது.

17. Airport – Tamil Nadu

• Under Udan Scheme, the new airport expansion is being taken up in 5 towns namely Salem, Neyveli, Vellore, Ramanathapuram and Thanjavur through The Airports Authority of India.
• Out of 37 air routes, in which local flights have been sanctioned under Udan, currently only 12 routes are being operated.

17. விமான நிலையம் – தமிழகம்

• தமிழகத்தில் உதான் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், சேலம், நெய்வேலி, வேலூர், இராமநாதபுரம், தஞ்சாவூர் ஆகிய 5 நகரங்களில், இந்திய விமான நிலைய ஆணையகம் மூலமாக புதிய விமான நிலைய விரிவாக்க பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• மொத்தம் 37 உதான் விமான வழித்தடங்களில், உள்ளூர் விமான போக்குவரத்துக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், தற்போது 12 தடங்களில் மட்டும் விமானம் இயக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

18. Bharathidasan University

• The Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwarilal Purohit has issued orders to appoint Prof. Selvam as vice chancellor of Bharathidasan University, Trichy.
• Professor Selvam, who has 36 years of experience in teaching, will serve as vice chancellor for three years.

18. பாரதிதாசன் பல்கலைக்கழகம்

• தமிழக ஆளுநர் பன்வாரிலால் புரோஹித் அவர்கள், பேராசிரியர் செல்வத்தை திருச்சி பாரதிதாசன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் துணை வேந்தராக நியமனம் செய்ய உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளார்.
• 36 ஆண்டுகள் ஆசிரியர் பணியில் அனுபவம் பெற்ற பேராசிரியர் செல்வம் அவர்கள், துணை வேந்தராக மூன்று ஆண்டு காலம் பணியாற்றுவார்.

19. Haldia – West Bengal

• Pm Modi will visit West Bengal on February 7.
• Four projects, which comes under Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum Company, GAIL and National Highways Authority of India will be launched by Prime minister in Haldia, West Bengal.

19. ஹல்டியா – மேற்கு வங்காளம்

• பிப்ரவரி 7-ம் தேதி, பிரதமர் மோடி அவர்கள் மேற்கு வங்கத்திற்கு நேரடிப் பயணம் மேற்கொள்ள உள்ளார்.
• பொதுத்துறை நிறுவனங்களான இந்தியன் ஆயில் நிறுவனம், பாரத் பெட்ரோலியம் நிறுவனம், கெயில் நிறுவனம், இந்திய தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலைகள் ஆணையம் ஆகியவற்றின் 4 திட்டங்களை மேற்கு வங்கத்தின் ஹல்டியா நகரில் தொடங்கி வைக்க உள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

20. World Cancer Day.

• The Union for International Cancer Control in Goa on the occasion of World Cancer Day said that, by 2025 two thirds of the total number of cancer cases reporting in worldwide would be from developing countries like India.
• Currently, two thirds of the number of cancer patients are in the developed Western countries and one third in developing countries.

20. உலக புற்றுநோய் தினம்.

• உலக புற்றுநோய் தினத்தையொட்டி கோவாவில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில், புற்றுநோய் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்கான் சர்வதேச ஒன்றியம், 2025-க்குள் உலக அளவில் புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்படுவோரின் எண்ணிக்கையில் மூன்றில் இரண்டு பேர் இந்தியா போன்ற வளரும் நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களாக இருப்பர் என தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• தற்போதைய நிலையில், புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோரின் எண்ணிக்கையில் மூன்றில் இரண்டு பேர் வளர்ந்த மேற்கத்திய நாடுகளிலும், மூன்றில் ஒருவர் வளரும் நாடுகளிலும் உள்ளனர்.

21. Myanmar

• Civil servants and medical workers have launched a noncooperation movement against the military regime in Myanmar.
• Associated Press reported that Telenar, a internet service provider in Myanmar, confirmed that the military rulers had ordered internet service companies to block Facebook, as ‘People’s Civil Disobedience Movement’ which started in Facebook is gaining popularity among the people.
