• Fibre and protein rich ‘village rice’ from Tamil Nadu exported to Ghana & Yemen. ‘Village rice’ is sourced directly from farmers of Thanjavur, which is known as rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. It is enriched with protein, fibre, and a variety of minerals.
• Non-basmati rice exports witnessed an impressive growth of 146 per cent during 2020-21.

2. Union Ministry of Education launched YUVA- Prime Minister’s Scheme For Mentoring Young Authors

• Union Ministry of Education launched YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) Scheme. It is an Author Mentorship programme to train young and budding authors below 30 years. The launch of YUVA is in tune with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to encourage young writers to write about India’s freedom struggle.
• YUVA is a part of India@75 Project.

2. இளம் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டும் யுவா – பிரதமரின் திட்டத்தை மத்திய கல்வி அமைச்சகம் தொடங்கியது

3. ‘PM-CARES for Children’ scheme launched to support and empower Covid affected children

• Children who lost their parents due to Covid will be assisted through PM-CARES for Children.
• Children who lost their parents due to Covid will get a monthly stipend once they turn 18 and a fund of Rs 10 lakhs when they turn 23 from PM CARES.
• Free education to be ensured for children who lost their parents to Covid.
• The children will be assisted to get an education loan for higher education and PM CARES will pay interest on the loan.
• The children will get free health insurance of Rs. 5 lakh under Ayushma Bharat till 18 years and the premium will be paid by PM CARES.

• கோவிட் காரணமாக பெற்றோரை இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு 18 வயதை கடந்தவுடன் மாதாந்திர உதவித் தொகையும், PM-CARESஇல் இருந்து 23 வயதை எட்டும்போது ரூ.10 லட்சம் நிதியும் வழங்கப்படும்.
• கோவிட்டால் பெற்றோரை இழந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு இலவசக் கல்வி உறுதி செய்யப்படும்.
• குழந்தைகள் உயர் கல்விக்கான கல்வி கடன் பெற உதவிசெய்து அதன் வட்டியை PM-CARES செலுத்தும்.
• குழந்தைகள் ஆயுஷ்மான் பாரத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 18 ஆண்டுகள் வரை ரூ.5 லட்சம் இலவச மருத்துவ காப்பீடு பெறுவார்கள் மற்றும் அதன் பிரீமியம் PM-CARES மூலம் செலுத்தப்படும்.

5. Karnataka launches India’s first ‘Precision Health Platform’ in Bangalore

• ‘Precision Health Platform’, India’s first city-wide environmental surveillance platform for COVID-19, was launched in Bangalore.
• The platform was launched in collaboration with the State Government of Karnataka in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Skoll Foundation-supported COVIDactionCollab (CAC).
• The platform tracks COVID through waste-water surveillance.
