1. President Ram Nath Kovind appoints Abdul Rahim Musaliar Badharudeen as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court

• President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Abdul Rahim Musaliar Badharudeen as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court for a period of two years.
• Article 224 of the Constitution of India deals with the appointment of Additional and Acting Judges of the High Court by the President.

1. கேரள உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் கூடுதல் நீதிபதியாக அப்துல் ரஹீம் முசாலியர் பதருதீனை குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம் நாத் கோவிந்த் நியமித்தார்

• அப்துல் ரஹீம் முசாலியர் பதருதீனை கேரள உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் கூடுதல் நீதிபதியாக இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம் நாத் கோவிந்த் நியமித்துள்ளார்.
• இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச் சட்டத்தின் 224வது விதி, உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் கூடுதல் மற்றும் பதில் நீதிபதிகளை குடியரசுத் தலைவர் நியமிப்பதைக் குறித்து கூறுகிறது.

2. Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary of Rajasthan becomes the 52^nd Tiger Reserve of India

• Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary of Rajasthan became the 52^nd Tiger Reserve of India and the 4^th of Tiger Reserve of Rajasthan after Ranthambore, Sariska, and Mukundra tiger reserves.
• The NTCA (National Tiger Conservation Authority) has given the approval to Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanctuary of Rajasthan for the Tiger Reserve. This sanctuary will extend support to the increasing number of tigers in Ranthambore.

NTCA (National Tiger Conservation Authority)

• The NTCA is a statutory body under the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change constituted under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
• The objectives of NTCA are:

1. Providing statutory authority to Project Tiger
2. Fostering accountability of Center-State in management of Tiger Reserves by providing a basis for the MoU with states within our federal structure
3. Providing for oversight by the Parliament
4. Addressing livelihood interests of local people in areas surrounding the Tiger Reserves

Project Tiger

• ‘Project Tiger’ is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme launched in 1973 that provides the required support for the conservation of the tiger in India. The project prevents the endangered tigers from getting extinct.

2. ராஜஸ்தானின் ராம்கர் விஷ்தாரி சரணாலயம் இந்தியாவின் 52வது புலிகள் காப்பகமாக அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது

• ராஜஸ்தானின் ராம்கர் விஷ்தாரி சரணாலயம் இந்தியாவின் 52வது புலிகள் காப்பகமாகவும், ரந்தம்போர், சரிஸ்கா மற்றும் முகுந்திரா புலிகள் காப்பகங்களுக்குப் பிறகு ராஜஸ்தானின் 4வது புலிகள் காப்பகமாகவும் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• என்.டி.சி.ஏ (தேசிய புலிகள் பாதுகாப்பு ஆணையம்) ராஜஸ்தானின் ராம்கர் விஷ்தாரி சரணாலயத்திற்கு புலிகள் காப்பகத்திற்கான ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது. இந்த சரணாலயம் ரந்தம்போரில் அதிகரித்து வரும் புலிகளுக்கு ஆதரவு அளிக்கும்.

தேசிய புலிகள் பாதுகாப்பு ஆணையம்

• என்.டி.சி.ஏ மத்திய சுற்றுச்சூழல், வனம் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்ற அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழ் வனவிலங்குகள் (பாதுகாப்பு) சட்டம், 1972இன் படி அமைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு சட்டரீதியான அமைப்பாகும்.
• என்.டி.சி.ஏ.வின் நோக்கங்கள்:

1. புலி திட்டத்திற்கு சட்டரீதியான அதிகாரம் வழங்குதல்
2. நமது கூட்டாட்சி கட்டமைப்பிற்குள் உள்ள மாநிலங்களுடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்திற்கு ஒரு அடிப்படையை வழங்குவதன் மூலம், புலிகள் காப்பகங்களை நிர்வகிப்பதில் மத்திய-மாநில அரசின் பொறுப்புணர்வை ஊக்குவித்தல்
3. பாராளுமன்றத்தின் மேற்பார்வைக்கு வழங்குதல்
4. புலிகள் காப்பகத்தைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் உள்ளூர் மக்களின் வாழ்வாதார நலன்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்தல்.

புலி திட்டம்

• ‘புலி திட்டம்‘ என்பது 1973இல் நாட்டில் புலியைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கு தேவையான ஆதரவை வழங்கும் மத்திய அரசின் நிதியுதவியுடன் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் திட்டமாகும். இந்த திட்டம் அழிந்து வரும் புலிகள் அழிந்து விடாமல் தடுக்கிறது.

4. President Ram Nath Kovind is set to visit his village by special train

• President Ram Nath Kovind is set to visit his village, Paraunkh in Uttar Pradesh, by a special train from the Safdarjung railway station, Delhi.
• It is after a gap of 15 years that an incumbent Indian President is making a train journey. In 2006, P. J. Abdul Kalam boarded a special train from Delhi to Dehradun.

4. குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் சிறப்பு ரயில் மூலம் சொந்த கிராமத்திற்கு வருகை தருகிறார்

• குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் தனது சொந்த கிராமமான உத்தரப் பிரதேசத்தின் பாரவுங்க்கு தில்லி சப்தர்ஜங் ரயில் நிலையத்திலிருந்து சிறப்பு ரயில் மூலம் செல்ல உள்ளார்.

5. BRICS nations agree on innovation co-operation

• BRICS nations have unanimously agreed on an innovation co-operation at the 11^thBRICS S&T Steering Committee Meeting. The proposal put forward by India would be considered at the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship (STIEP) Working Group for elaborating the action plan.
• The Steering Committee Meeting was hosted by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. India currently holds the BRICS presidency.

5. புதுமையான கண்டுபிடிப்பு ஒத்துழைப்புக்கு பிரிக்ஸ் நாடுகள் சம்மதம் தெரிவித்துள்ளன

6. Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) programme launched in Bhutan in partnership with India

• Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB), a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) was launched in Bhutan. India was chosen as the partner and has provided the tax expert for this programme.

7. New Zealand wins its 1st-ever World Test Cricket Championship title

• New Zealand beat India by eight wickets to win the first-ever World Test Cricket Championship title.
• Indian Spinner Ashwin took his 71^st wicket and has surpassed Pat Cummins’ record in the World Test Championship 2021.

8. India launches its Official olympic theme song ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020

• India’s official Olympic theme song was launched in a event ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. Playback singer Mohit Chauhan has composed and sung the song titled ‘Lakshya Tera Samne Hai’. The event was organised by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

8. டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் 2020 போட்டிகளுக்கு முன்னதாக இந்தியா தனது அதிகாரப்பூர்வ ஒலிம்பிக் கருப்பொருள் பாடலை (தீம் சாங்) அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது

9. Laurel Hubbard becomes the first transgender women (man changed into woman) to qualify for Tokyo Olympics

• New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard has become the first openly transgender athlete to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. She will compete in the women’s 87-kilogram class event.
• The International Olympic Committee’s guidelines on transgender athletes allowed transgender athletes who have made the transition from male to female, to compete, if certain conditions are fulfilled.

10. Ravindra Jadeja was ranked as the top all-rounder in the latest ICC Test rankings

• Ravindra Jadeja replaced Holder as the top all-rounder in the latest ICC Test rankings.
• Pat Cummins of Australia has topped in the ICC Test Bowlers’ rankings. India’s Ashwin was in the second spot and Tim Southee of New Zealand was in the third spot in the recently released rankings.
• Steve Smith of Australia was the top batsman followed by Kane Williamson of New Zealand and Marnus Labuschagne of Australia in the ICC Test Batsmen
