1. One more human skeleton was found in the Kondagai Excavation

• One more human skeleton was found in the ongoing excavation at Kondagai in the Sivaganga
• The excavation work is in progress at Keladi, Agaram, Manalur and Kondagai.
• Based on the excavations so far, it has been revealed that Kondagai was a cremation site during ancient times.
• Many urns and skeletons were found in the pits during the excavation.

2. Indigenous Short Span Bridging systems of DRDO was inducted into Indian Army

• The indigenous Short Span Bridging systems of DRDO was inducted into the Indian Army. The system has been designed by DRDO and manufactured by L&T.
• These 10-metre bridges will meet the important requirements of providing mobility to forces by speedy bridging of gaps during operations.

2. டி.ஆர்.டி.ஓ.வின் உள்நாட்டு குறுகிய கால இணைப்பு அமைப்புகள் இந்திய ராணுவத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது

• டி.ஆர்.டி.ஓ.வின் உள்நாட்டு குறுகிய கால இணைப்பு அமைப்புகள் இந்திய ராணுவத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டன. இந்த அமைப்புகள் டி.ஆர்.டி.ஓ வால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு, எல் அண்ட் டி (L&T)ஆல் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

3. Indian-origin Sirisha Bandla to be a part of Virgin Galactic’s space flight

• Indian-origin Sirisha Bandla will be a part of Virgin Galactic’s space flight on 11 July, ahead of Jeff Bezos’ Blue origin space flight.
• Virgin Galactic is a space company found by Richard Branson. The VSS Unity spacecraft will take off from New Mexico, carrying a full crew of Virgin Galactic’s employees.
• Sirisha Bandla will be the third Indian-origin woman after Kalpana Chawla and Sunitha Williams to travel into space.

3. இந்திய வம்சாவளியைச் சேர்ந்த சிரிஷா பாண்ட்லா விர்ஜின் கேலக்டிக்கின் விண்வெளி பயணத்தில் பங்கேற்கிறார்

4. Prahlad Singh Patel chairs the 6^th meeting of the BRICS Culture Ministers through video conferencing

• The Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel hosted the 6^th BRICS Culture Ministers’ Meeting through video conferencing.
• BRICS members participated in the meeting.

BRICS:

• BRICS is a group of world’s emerging economies – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. India has assumed the BRICS Presidency from January 2021.

4. பிரிக்ஸ் கலாச்சார அமைச்சர்களின் 6வது கூட்டத்திற்கு காணொலிக் காட்சி மூலம் பிரகலாத் சிங் படேல் தலைமை தாங்குகிறார்

• 6வது பிரிக்ஸ் கலாச்சார அமைச்சர்கள் கூட்டத்தை கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் சுற்றுலாத்துறை இணையமைச்சர் பிரகலாத் சிங் படேல் காணொலிக் காட்சி மூலம் நடத்தினார்.
• பிரிக்ஸ் உறுப்பினர்கள் இந்த கூட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்றனர்.

பிரிக்ஸ்:

5. Bengaluru-Karwar express to be named Panchaganga express

• The Union Ministry of Railways has approved the proposal to name the Bengaluru-Karwar Express as the Panchaganga Express.
• It is named after the five rivers in Udupi that come together to join the Arabian Sea near Kundapura, thus getting the name Panchagangavali
• The five rivers are:

1. Souparnika
2. Chakra
3. Kheta
4. Kubja
5. Varahi

5. பெங்களூரு–கார்வார் எக்ஸ்பிரஸுக்கு பஞ்சகங்கா எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் என்று பெயரிடப்படுகிறது

• பெங்களூரு–கார்வார் எக்ஸ்பிரஸை பஞ்சகங்கா எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் என்று பெயரிடும் திட்டத்திற்கு மத்திய ரயில்வே அமைச்சகம் ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
• இது உடுப்பியில் உள்ள ஐந்து ஆறுகளின் பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. அவை ஒன்று சேர்ந்து குண்டபுரா அருகே அரபிக் கடலில் ஒன்றாக சேருகின்றன. இதனால் பஞ்சகங்காவலி ஆறு என்ற பெயர் பெறுகிறது.

6. Wally Funk aged 82 is set to fly into space with Jeff Bezos

• Wally Funk of age 82 will be a part of the New Shepard launch vehicle journey along with Jeff Bezos on 20 July. She will become the oldest person ever to go to space.
• The trip will last 10 minutes above the Karman line that marks the boundary between Earth’s atmosphere and space. The reusable suborbital rocket system was named after Alan Shepard, the first American in space.
• Wally Funk was one of the Mercury 13, the first women group trained to fly to space during 1960 but excluded because of their gender. Mercury 13 is NASA’s unofficial, privately funded program to train women as male astronauts.

6. 82 வயதான வாலி ஃபங்க் ஜெஃப் பெஸோஸுடன் விண்வெளியில் பறக்கவிருக்கிறார்

• 82 வயதான வாலி ஃபங்க் 20 ஜூலை அன்று ஜெஃப் பெஸோஸுடன் நியூ ஷெப்பர்ட் விண்வெளி வாகன பயணத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பார். அவர் விண்வெளிக்கு செல்லும் மிக வயதான நபராக இருப்பார்.
• பூமியின் வளிமண்டலத்திற்கும் விண்வெளிக்கும் இடையிலான எல்லையைக் குறிக்கும் கார்மன் கோட்டிற்கு மேலே இந்த பயணம் 10 நிமிடங்கள் நீடிக்கும். மீண்டும் பயன்படுத்தக்கூடிய இந்த துணை ஆர்பிட்டால் ராக்கெட் அமைப்பு விண்வெளிக்கு சென்ற முதல் அமெரிக்கரான ஆலன் ஷெப்பர்டின் பெயரால் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• வாலி ஃபங்க் 1960ஆம் ஆண்டில் விண்வெளிக்கு பறக்க பயிற்சி பெற்ற முதல் பெண்ணாக மெர்குரி 13இல் ஒருவராக இருந்தார். ஆனால் அவர்களின் பாலினம் காரணமாக விலக்கப்பட்டனர். மெர்குரி 13 என்பது ஆண் விண்வெளி வீரர்களுக்கு இணையாக பெண்களுக்கு பயிற்சியளிக்கும் நாசாவின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமற்ற, தனியார் நிதி பெற்ற திட்டமாகும்.

• Dutee Chand qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2020 in both 100 m and 200 m athletics.
• She is the national champion in the women’s 100 metres event.
• She is the first Indian to win a gold medal in 100 m race in a global competition.

• Sania Mirza will be the first female athlete to represent India at four Olympics.

9. Maana Patel becomes the first Indian female swimmer to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020

• The 100 m backstroke national record holder Maana Patel has become the 1^st female and 3^rd Indian swimmer to qualify for Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. She qualified through the Universality Quota.

9. டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் 2020க்கு தகுதி பெற்ற முதல் இந்திய பெண் நீச்சல் வீரரானார் மானா படேல்

• 100 மீ பேக்ஸ்ட்ரோக் தேசிய சாதனையாளர் மானா படேல் டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் 2020க்கு தகுதி பெற்ற முதல் பெண் மற்றும் 3வது இந்திய நீச்சல் வீரராவார். அவர் யுனிவர்சலிட்டி கோட்டா மூலம் தகுதி பெற்றார்.

10. Sir Ludwig Guttmann’s Birth Anniversary – 3 July

• Sir Ludwig Guttmann, known as the ‘Father of the Paralympic Games’ has his birth anniversary on 3 July.
• The Paralympic Games are a driving force for promoting the rights and independence of people with disabilities and their equal treatment and opportunity.

Paralympic Games:

• Sir Ludwig Guttmann organised the first competition for wheelchair athletes named the Stoke Mandeville Games in 1948. It later became the Paralympic Games which first took place in Rome, Italy, in 1960. The Paralympic Games takes place every four years. In 1976, the first Winter Games in Paralympics was held in Sweden.

10. சர் லுட்விக் குட்மன் பிறந்த நாள் – 3 ஜூலை

• ‘பாராலிம்பிக் விளையாட்டுகளின் தந்தை’ என்று அழைக்கப்படும் சர் லுட்விக் குட்மனின் பிறந்த நாள் 3 ஜூலை அன்று கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
• பாராலிம்பிக் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளின் உரிமைகள் மற்றும் சுதந்திரத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கும், அவர்களின் சமமான நடத்தை மற்றும் வாய்ப்பை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கும் ஒரு உந்து சக்தியாக உள்ளன.

11. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

• NHRC is a statutory body established on 12 October 1993 under the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993.

Composition:

• Chairperson: Retired Chief Justice of India or a Judge of the Supreme Court
• The Chairperson and the members of the NHRC are appointed by the President on the recommendations of a six-member committee.
• The select committee consists of

3. Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha
4. Leaders of the Opposition in both the Houses of Parliament

• தேசிய மனித உரிமைகள் ஆணையம், மனித உரிமைகள் பாதுகாப்பு சட்டம், 1993இன் கீழ் 12 அக்டோபர் 1993 அன்று நிறுவப்பட்ட ஒரு சட்டரீதியான அமைப்பாகும்.
