TAMIL NADU

1. Ashok Upreti was appointed as the Head of the Forest Department of Tamil Nadu

• IFS Officer Ashok Upreti was posted as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) and the Head of the Forest Department of Tamil Nadu. He replaced Yuvaraj.
• Shekhar Kumar Niraj, APCCF and Special Secretary, Forests, was promoted as PCCF and Chief Wildlife Warden of Tamil Nadu. He replaced Syed Muzamil Abbas.
• Syed Muzamil Abbas was posted as the Chairman of Arasu Rubber Corporation.

1. தமிழ்நாடு வனத்துறையின் தலைவராக அசோக் உப்ரேத்தி நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்

• ஐ.எஃப்.எஸ். அதிகாரி அசோக் உப்ரேட்டி முதன்மை தலைமை வனப் பாதுகாவலர் (பி.சி.சி.எஃப்) மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு வனத்துறை தலைவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். எஸ். யுவராஜுக்குப் பதிலாக அவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
• ஏ.பி.சி.சி.எஃப் மற்றும் வனத்துறை சிறப்பு செயலாளர் சேகர் குமார் நிராஜ் பி.சி.சி.எஃப் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு தலைமை வனவிலங்கு காப்பாளராக பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார். அவர் சையத் முஸாமில் அப்பாஸுக்குப் பதிலாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.

2. Green Committees have been formed at the state and district levels in Tamil Nadu to prevent the felling of trees

• As per the orders of the Madras High Court, Green Committees have been constituted at the state and district levels to prevent the felling of trees in government lands, public spaces and government offices and to make recommendations on the removal of fallen trees.
• The State Green Committee is headed by the Secretary of the Environment, Climate Change and Forests in the Government of Tamil Nadu. This committee consists of Secretaries to Industries, Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Revenue, Tourism, Public Works and Highways and DGP of Tamil Nadu. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests will be the Member Secretary.
• District Level Green Committees are formed in all districts under the Chairmanship of the District Collector. The District Revenue Officer, District Superintendent of Police, Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Agriculture, Revenue, Highways, Public Works, Charitable Endowments, Top Industrial Officers or Representatives will be members of two experts on behalf of social organisations. The District Forest Officer will be the Member Secretary.
• The State Level Committee will provide policy-based assistance to the District Level Committee. The committee will meet every 3 months and formulate plans.

2. மரங்கள் வெட்டப்படுவதை தடுக்க தமிழ்நாட்டில் மாநில மற்றும் மாவட்ட அளவில் பசுமைக் குழுக்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன

• மாவட்ட அளவிலான பசுமை குழுக்கள் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் தலைமையில் உருவாக்கப்படுகின்றன. இதில் மாவட்ட வருவாய் அலுவலர், மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர், ஊரக வளர்ச்சி, நகராட்சி நிர்வாகம், வேளாண்மை, வருவாய், நெடுஞ்சாலை, பொதுப்பணி, அறநிலையம், தொழில்துறை உயர் அதிகாரிகள் அல்லது பிரதிநிதிகள், சமூக அமைப்புகளின் சார்பில் இரு வல்லுநர்கள் உறுப்பினர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். மாவட்ட வன அதிகாரி உறுப்பினர் செயலராக இருப்பார்.
• மாநில அளவிலான குழுவானது, மாவட்ட அளவிலான குழுவிற்கு கொள்கை அடிப்படையிலான உதவிகளை வழங்கும். 3 மாதங்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை இந்த குழு கூடி திட்டங்களை வகுக்கும்.

3. Mary Kom and Manpreet Singh to be India’s flag-bearers at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 opening ceremony

• Indian Olympic Association has announced that six-time world champion boxer Mary Kom and men’s hockey team skipper Manpreet Singh will be India’s flag-bearers at Tokyo Olympics 2020 opening ceremony.
• Indian Wrestler Bajrang Punia will be the flag-bearer at the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
• Abhinav Bindra, the only Olympic gold medalist of India, was the flag-bearer at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

3. டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகள் 2020இன் தொடக்க விழாவில் இந்தியாவின் மேரி கோம் மற்றும் மன்பிரீத் சிங் கொடி ஏந்தவுள்ளனர்

4. Union Health Ministry launches ‘COVID GuruKool’ informational video series

• Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry has launched ‘COVID GuruKool’, an informational video series on its social media platforms. These informational videos are aimed at disseminating authentic information on the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination program.

• மத்திய சுகாதார அமைச்சகம் தனது சமூக ஊடக தளங்களில் தகவல் வீடியோ தொடரான ‘கோவிட் குருகூல்’‘ ஐ தொடங்கியுள்ளது. கோவிட்-19 பெருந்தொற்று மற்றும் தடுப்பூசி திட்டங்கள் பற்றிய உண்மையான தகவல்களை வெளியிடுவதை இத்தகவல் வீடியோ தொடர் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

5. China launches the Fengyun-3E meteorological satellite

• China has launched the Fengyun-3E (FY-3E) meteorological satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre. This is the fifth of the Fengyun-3 series of meteorological satellites.
• The satellite was launched by the Long March-4C rocket.

5. சீனா ஃபெங்யுன்-3இ வானிலை செயற்கைக்கோளை விண்ணில் ஏவியது

• ஜியுகுவான் செயற்கைக்கோள் ஏவுதளத்தில் இருந்து ஃபெங்யுன்-3இ (FY-3E) வானிலை செயற்கைக்கோளை சீனா விண்ணில் செலுத்தியது. இது ஃபெங்யுன்-3 வானிலை செயற்கைக்கோள் தொடரில் ஐந்தாவது ஆகும்.

6. Father Stan Swamy passed away

• Father Stanislaus Lourduswamy passed away. He was popularly known as Father Stan Swamy. He was born at Trichy on 26 April 1937. He was a priest for 51 years and fought for jal (water), jungle (forest) and zameen (land) for tribal people.

6. அருட்தந்தை ஸ்டான் சுவாமி காலமானார்

• அருட்தந்தை ஸ்டானிஸ்லாஸ் லூர்துசுவாமி காலமானார். அவர் அருட்தந்தை ஸ்டான் சுவாமி என்று பிரபலமாக அறியப்பட்டார். அவர் 26 ஏப்ரல் 1937 அன்று திருச்சியில் பிறந்தார். அவர் 51 ஆண்டுகள் பாதிரியாராக இருந்தார். பழங்குடி மக்களுக்காக ஜல் (தண்ணீர்), காடு (காடு) மற்றும் ஜமீன் (நிலம்) ஆகியவற்றிற்காக போராடினார்.

• குடியரசுத் தலைவரின் நினைக்கும் வரை ஆளுநர் பதவி வகிக்கிறார். அவர் மத்திய அரசின் முகவர் அல்ல.
• ஒரு ஆளுநரை இரண்டு அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட மாநிலங்களுக்கு ஆளுநராக நியமிக்கலாம்.

8. Three athletes from Tamil Nadu has made into the India’s 4×400 m mixed relay teams for the Tokyo Olympics 2020

• Sarthak Bhambri, Alex Antony, Revathi Veeramani, Subha Venkatesan and Dhanalakshmi Sekar have been named in the 4×400 m mixed relay team at the Tokyo Olympic 2020 Games by the Athletics Federation of India. Three athletes from Tamil Nadu have made it to the list.
• Muhammad Anas, Amoj Jacob, Arokia Rajiv, Noah Nirmal Tom and Naganathan Pandi have been named for the men’s 4×400 m relay

• சியாமா பிரசாத் முகர்ஜி 6 ஜூலை 1901 அன்று பிறந்தார். நேருவின் அமைச்சரவையில் மத்திய தொழில் மற்றும் வழங்கல் அமைச்சராக பணியாற்றினார். நேரு–லியாகத் ஒப்பந்தத்தை எதிர்த்து அவர் தனது அமைச்சர் ராஜினாமா செய்தார். 1951ஆம் ஆண்டு பாரதிய ஜனதா கட்சியின் முன்னோடியான பாரதிய ஜன சங்கத்தை அவர் நிறுவினார்.
