• A 13-year-old Japan’s Momiji Nishiya won the first-ever Olympic gold in women’s street skateboarding at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She became Japan’s youngest (13 years and 10 months) Olympic champion.

Bermuda becomes the smallest country to win an Olympic gold medal after Flora Duffy claims triathlon gold medal

• Flora Duffy of Bermuda won a gold medal at the triathlon games in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Bermuda is now officially the smallest country to ever win a Summer Olympic gold medal.
• The 33-year-old triathlete Flora Duffy blew away the 56-woman field with a time of 1:55:36 to earn gold in her fourth Olympic appearance.
