  • This initiative was undertaken by AquaKraft Ventures, a company that has expertise in sustainable initiatives to provide drinking water and sanitation to all.
  • This digital water data bank provides insights and evidence from research and analytics thereby providing fundamental reliable information for tackling water pollution.

Adani Group signs a deal for two power projects in Sri Lanka

  • Adani Group has signed a deal for two large power projects in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province. These project aim to generate a combined capacity of 500 MW, at a cost of $ 500 million.
  • This agreement was inked on the same day that the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) of India and the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) agreed to set up a 100 MW solar power project in Sampur in the Trincomalee district of Sri Lanka.

  • This mobile application is designed to enable mobile number updation in real-time basis. Customers can update their mobile number once every six months through this platform or at any point in time by visiting any branch (or) through a field staff of the Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.

  • HSBC Mutual Fund has launched the HSBC CRISIL IBX 50:50 Gilt Plus SDL Apr 2028 Index Fund, an open-ended target maturity index fund tracking the CRISIL IBX 50:50 Gilt Plus SDL Index- April 2028.
  • The securities maturing on or before the maturity date follow a predefined index. According to HSBC Mutual Fund, this fund is focused on the short end versus the rich stability of the curve.

BRO signs an MoU with GRSE for the construction of 27 double-lane class-70 modular bridges in the border areas

  • Border Roads Organisation (BRO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE) for the construction of 27 double-lane class-70 modular bridges in the border areas.
  • This MoU includes fabrication, supply, erection and launching of 27 double-lane bridges of carriageway with 7.5 metres of load class-70 along the northern and north-eastern border states.

Bank of Baroda join hands with BNP Paribas AMC to form the Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund

  • Bank of Baroda (BoB) and BNP Paribas Asset Management Company (AMC) have entered into a strategic partnership by combining the strengths of their respective asset management businesses to form the ‘Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund’.
  • Suresh Soni was appointed as the CEO of the ‘Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund’.
  • Bank of Baroda will have a 1 per cent stake in this asset management company (AMC), while BNP Paribas Asset Management Company will hold the remaining 49.9 per cent stake.

The first battery swap station is live and operational at Azadpur, Delhi.
  • With this collaboration, TPDDL’s power capacity and infrastructure will allow Battery Smart to establish higher capacity battery swap stations at key locations to cater to the growing electric two- and three-wheeler markets.

  • This makes him the first person to travel to 254 stations covering 348 km in just 16 hours two minutes.

  • According to the latest Bloomberg report, India’s equity market has broken into the world’s top-five club in terms of market capitalisation for the first time.
