RRB NTPC Application Status 2019-2020 is released by RRB ( Railways Recruitment Board) under the CEN 01/2019.

RRB has now released the long awaited RRB NTPC 2010 – 2020 Application status now in the official regional RRB websites.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited the application for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). 35,902 vacancies are reported across different Railway Recruitment Board(RRB)s. The Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) positions include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Railway Boards.

RRB NTPC 2019 Application Status

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has also published an official notification regarding the RRB NTPC 2019 – 2020 Application Status today (16th September 2020) which is provided below. 

1. Vide CEN No. 01/2019 issued on 28.02.2019, applications were invited for various posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) – Graduate and Under-graduate. The scrutiny of applications has been completed and candidates can view the status of their applications under – (i) Provisionally Eligible and (ii) Rejected (along with reasons for
rejection). Status of application can be viewed through the LINK provided on the websites of respective RRBs.

2. SMS and E-mail will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID provided in his/her application whose application is rejected.

3. Status of applications can be viewed by entering the Application Registration Number and Date of Birth of the candidates etc. The link will be active from 21.09.2020 to 30.09.2019.

4. While every care has been taken in preparing the list of provisionally eligible candidates, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical/printing mistake. RRB regrets inability to entertain any correspondence from ineligible candidates.

5. Candidature of all the eligible candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency furnished by them in their application or any malpractice on the part of the candidate coming to the notice of RRB at any stage of the recruitment
process.

6. Important: Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates.

7. Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.

RRB NTPC 2020- Selection Process

Aspirants opting for RRB NTPC should know the Selection Procedure of the recruitment. Students will be selected based on the marks scored in the first & second stage whereas other stages will be qualifying in nature. 

There will be two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).

Lastly, there will be document verification and medical examination.

For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be two-stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.

Also Normalization will also play an important factor in this RRB NTPC Recruitment 2020.

Each question will carry one mark, and there is a negative marking of 1/3 marks for the wrong answer.

Short Listing for Various Stages:

RRB wise short listing of candidates for 2nd Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 20 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration). The short listing for 2nd Stage CBT will be based on the merit of the candidates in 1st Stage CBT.

The short listing for Skill Tests such as Computer based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test shall be to the extent of 8 times the vacancies (may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railway Administration) based on the merit of the candidates in 2nd Stage CBT.
