SBI PO Versus NICL AO : Which is better?

SBI PO Job profile

As a Bank PO you are expected to:

• Provide services to customers
• Enhance business of the bank
• Handle cash activities at the bank
• Manage Clearance of Payments
• Manage accounts of customers
• Official communication

Salary

Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs. 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of Rs.23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The total compensation per annum on CTC basis would be a minimum of Rs. 7.93 lacs and maximum of Rs 12.95 lacs depending on place of posting and other factors.

NICL AO Job Profile

An Administrative Officer in General Insurance company is the Primary Supervisor. The Work of an AO is very simple, they need to do administrative jobs.

Salary

Starting Basic pay: Rs. 32,795 /-.
Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.51,000/- p.m. in Metropolitan Centers.

After comparing both these aspect one can decide which one is better.

Both have its own pro’s and cons so it depends on your interest…!!!

SBI the largest PSU Bank in India…In SBI when you join as a PO you can be posted in any place in India which includes rural posting too…But NICL you will mostly get URBAN posting.

SBI the promotion chances are higher but in NICL promotion will be slow.

SBI the workload as a PO will be more…but in NICL the workload will be less.
