TANGEDCO – TNEB Junior Assistant & Accounts Recruitment 2020 – TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation) has released the official notification for the posts of Junior Assistant/Accounts in the LEVEL – 3 pf Women Pay matrix and has invited applications from eligible candidates.

The Total Number of Vacancies Available for the TNEB & TANGEDCO Junior Assistant/Accounts Recruitment 2020 is 500.

The candidate on their selection will be placed in the Level-3 of workmen pay matrix. They should be preferred to serve anywhere in Tamil Nadu.

All eligible candidates including the candidates sponsored by the Professional Employment Exchange, those who have registered in Professional Employment Exchange & Open Market candidates shall apply through online to appear in the competitive online examination. Age Limit – TANGEDCO Junior Assistant/Accounts Recruitment 2020

1. SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO, BCM Candidates, including Ex-Servicemen of said castes and Destitute widows of all castes.

• Minimum age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: No Age Limit

2. ‘Others’ (i.e. Candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO, BCM).

• Minimum age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (Should Not Have completed)

 (i) For Differently Abled Persons:

• Differently Abled Persons are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above.

(ii) For Ex-servicemen:

1. The maximum age limit is 48 years for “others” (i.e.) Applicants not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO, BCM categories.
2. The above concession will not apply to the Applicants those who have already been recruited to any class or service or category.

(iii) However, there is no upper age limit to the candidates to the appointment to a post included in a class of service of a candidate belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, and Denotified Communities or destitute widows of all castes who holds a degree of any University recognized by University Grants Commission, if the degree he/she holds is not lower than the degree, if any, prescribed for appointment to such post and if he/she is otherwise qualified for appointment.

Explanation: “No upper age limit” shall mean that the candidates should not have completed 58 years of age either on the date of Notification or at the time of selection/appointment to the post.

Educational Qualification – TANGEDCO Junior Assistant/Accounts Recruitment 2020

The Education qualification will be considered as on 8^th January, 2020.

1. i) The qualification prescribed for this post should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies i.e. 10th + HSC/Diploma, as the case may be from any university or Institution, recognized by the University Grants Commission or any of the Universities recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Selection Procedure – TANGEDCO Junior Assistant/Accounts Recruitment 2020

The Selection Procedure consists of Online Examination (Computer Based Test) and Certificate Verification. (ONLY ONE EXAM)

i) Applying the post in online and appearing for Online Examination alone is not guarantee for appointment or selection to the post.

ii) All eligible candidates including the candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange and open market should apply through ON LINE to appear in the competitive online examination. The tentative list of eligible candidates (i.e., from the list of candidates who have appeared for the competitive Online exam) will be called in the ratio of 1:1 for certificate verification as per the marks obtained by the candidates in the Examination and as per Communal roster.

iii)  After verification of the original certificate, the eligible candidates will be selected as per eligibility, merit of the marks in Competitive Online Examination and rule of reservation (respective turn in the Communal roster).

a) Provided that, when a candidate earmarked in the tentative communal roster against the vacancy reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Class Muslims or General Turn or in the case of priority or preferential Quota, found to be ineligible or if absent, during Certificate Verification, such turn shall be filled from the respective category and in accordance to the merit of marks.

b) Provided also that, the candidates must have full eligibility and such candidates appointed shall be placed below all the candidates earmarked in the tentative communal roster.

c) Provided also that, even thereafter if the vacancy remains unfilled due to non-availability of candidates, the process stated under (a) and (b) above may be repeated until the vacancy is filled or until there is no availability of required eligible candidates or as decided by the Competent Authority at that point of time.

ONLINE EXAMINATION (CBT):

The question paper for ONLINE EXAMINATION will be of Objective type in the Degree Standard (B.Com.) and it will be in English and in some sections will be in Tamil.
