1. Tamil Nadu – Prime Minister Narendra Modi

• PM Modi has came to Tamil Nadu on February 14 and inaugurated new projects worth Rs. 8,000 crore.
• The Prime Minister inaugurated the first phase of the Chennai metro’s expansion from Vannarapettai to Wimco  through video conference.
• The railway line has 9.051 km, 2 subway stations and 5 high level stations. Passengers congratulated Reena Arumugam, the female driver who operated the Metro train.
• The Prime Minister also laid the foundation for the renovation of the ‘Kallanai’ Canal.

1. தமிழகம் – பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி

• பிப்ரவரி 14 அன்று தமிழகம் வந்த பிரதமர் மோடி அவர்கள் ₹. 8000 கோடி மதிப்பிலான புதிய திட்டங்களை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• சென்னை மெட்ரோவின் வண்ணாரப்பேட்டை முதல் விம்கோ வரையிலான முதல் கட்ட விரிவாக்க தடத்தை பிரதமர் காணொலிக் காட்சி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• இந்த ரயில் வழித்தடம் 9.051 கிமீ தூரமும், 2 சுரங்கபாதை ரயில் நிலையங்ககளும், 5 உயர்நிலை ரயில் நிலையங்களும் உடையது ஆகும். மெட்ரோ ரயிலை இயக்கிய பெண் ஓட்டுநர் ரீனா ஆறுமுகத்திற்கு பயணிகள் பாராட்டு தெரிவித்தனர்.
• மேலும் பிரதமர் கல்லணைக் கால்வாயைக் புதுப்பிக்கும் பணிக்கு அடிக்கல் நாட்டி துவக்கி வைத்தார்.

2. Kerala – Prime Minister Narendra Modi

• PM Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 6000 crore in Kochi, Kerala.
• He also announced that the petrochemical manufacturing plant of Bharat Petroleum in Kochi will be dedicated to the country.
• He also inaugurated the International Shipping Terminal at Kochi Port and Marine Engineering Institute.

2. கேரளம் – பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி

• கேரள மாநிலம் கொச்சியில் பிரதமர் மோடி அவர்கள் ₹. 6000 கோடி மதிப்பிலான திட்டங்களை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• மேலும் கொச்சியில் உள்ள பாரத் பெட்ரோலியத்தின் பெட்ரோ கெமிக்கல் உற்பத்தி தொழிற்சாலையை அவர் நாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணிப்பதாக தெரிவித்தார்.
• கொச்சி துறைமுகத்தில் சர்வதேச கப்பல் முனையம், கடல்சார பொறியியல் நிறுவனம் ஆகியவற்றையும் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

3. Fastag

• Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the deadline for implementation of fastag at toll plazas will not be extended beyond February 15.
• The fastag system introduced in 2016 was recently made mandatory. It is noteworthy that the deadline for the vehicle owners to implement Fastag has already been extended twice.

3. ஃபாஸ்டேக்

• மத்திய சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து துறை அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி சுங்கச்சாவடிகளில் ஃபாஸ்டேக்கை அமல்படுத்த பிப்ரவரி 15க்கு மேல் காலக்கெடு நீட்டிக்கப்படாது என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
• கடந்த 2016-ல் அறிமுகப்பதுத்தப்பட்ட ஃபாஸ்டேக் முறை சமீபத்தில் கட்டாயமாக்கப்பட்டது. வாகன உரிமையாளர்களுக்கு ஃபாஸ்டேக் அமல்படுத்த ஏற்கனவே 2 முறை காலக்கெடு நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

4. Former President Trump

• The US Senate relieved former US President Donald Trump of impeachment for provoking riots in Parliament.
• In the 100-member Senate, 57 voted against Trump and 43 in favor, with two-thirds of support needed to approve the impeachment.
• He was acquitted of the crime as he needed 67 votes to get impeached.

4. முன்னாள் அதிபர் டிரம்ப்

• அமெரிக்கவின் செனட் சபை, நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் கலவரத்தை தூண்டியற்கான பதவி நீக்க விசாரணையிலிருந்து, முன்னாள் அமெரிக்க அதிபர் டொனால்ட் டிரம்பை விடுவித்தது.
• பதிவி நீக்கம் செய்ய மூன்றில் இரண்டு பங்கு ஆதரவு தேவைப்படும் நிலையில், 100 உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட செனட் சபையில் டிரம்பிற்கு எதிராக 57 பேரும், ஆதரவாக 43 பேரும் வாக்களித்தனர்.
• பதவி நீக்கம் செய்ய 67 வாக்குகள் தேவைப்பட்டதால், குற்றத்திலிருந்து அவர் விடுவிக்கப்பட்டார்.

5. Arjun Mark 1 A

• Under the Make In India Project, 118 Arjun Mark 1 A tankers have been manufactured in Avadi heavy vehicle factory at a cost of ₹8,400 crore.
• PM Modi dedicated these Arjun Mark 1 A tank vehicles to India.
• The vehicle is equipped with a modern 120 mm gun and a modern camera technique called thermal imaging.
• 4 people can operate this vehicle, which can hit land and air targets at any time and at any weather.

5. அர்ஜீன் மார்க் 1 ஏ

• மேக் இன் இந்தியா திட்டத்தின் கீழ், ஆவடியில் உள்ள கனரக ஊர்தி தொழிற்சாலையில் ₹.8,400 கோடி செலவில் 118 அர்ஜீன் மார்க் 1 ஏ பீரங்கி டாங்கி வாகனங்கள் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• இந்த அர்ஜீன் மார்க் 1 ஏ பீரங்கி டாங்கி வாகனங்களை பிரதமர் மோடி இந்தியாவிற்கு அர்ப்பணித்தார்.
• இந்த வாகனம் நவீன 120 மி.மீ துப்பாக்கி மற்றும் தெர்மல் இமேஜிங் எனப்படும் அதீநவீன கேமரா வசதியைக் கொண்டது.
• தரை வழி மற்றும் விமான வழி இலக்குகளை எந்த நேரத்திலும் எந்த தட்ப வெப்பத்திலும் துல்லியமாக தாக்கும் இந்த பீரங்கியை 4 பேர் இயக்கலாம்.

6. World Para Athletics Prix Championship – Dubai

• The World Para Athletics Prix Championship in Dubai ended on February 15.
• India won 23 medals including gold in the tournament.

6. உலக பாரா தடகள் போட்டி – துபாய்

• துபாயில் நடைபெற்று வந்த உலக பாரா தடகள சாம்பியன் போட்டி பிப்ரவரி 15-ம் தேதி நிறைவடைந்தது.
• இந்த போட்டியில் இந்தியா தங்கம் உட்பட 23 பதங்ககளை வென்றுள்ளது.

7. Oldest wine mill

• In Egypt, archaeologists have discovered a world’s oldest wine factory dating back to the king Narmer period, who established the First Empire between 3150 – 2613 BC.
• The 5000-year-old Wine plant has 40 pots, which is designed to mix grains and water to make beer.

7. பழமையான மது ஆலை

• கிமு 3150 – கிமு 2613 காலத்தில் முதலாம் பேரரசை உருவாக்கிய அரசர் நார்மர் காலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த உலகின் பழமையான மது ஆலை ஒன்றை எகிப்தில் தொல்பொருள் ஆய்வாளர்கள் கண்டறிந்துள்ளனர்.
• 5000 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையான இந்த ஆலையில் 40 பானைகள் மூலம் தானியங்களையும் நீரையும் கலந்து ‘பீர்’ மது பானம் தயாரிக்கும் வகையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

8. IIT Madras Satellite campus

• The satellite campus of IIT Madras with world class research centres coming up at Thaiyur in Chengalpattu district was inaugurated by PM Modi on February 14.
• The National Technology centre for Ports, waterways and coasts will be the country’s first large shallow water basin, which will be funded by the Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
• The National Technology Center is being set up under the Sagarmala Project, a pilot project of the Central Ministry of Shipping. A 360 degree ship’s bridge simulator will be built in the centre.
• The DRDO will fund the solid propellant combustion facility of the centre of propulsion Technology.

8. ஐ.ஐ.டி மெட்ராஸ் உறுப்பு வளாகம்

• செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள தையூரில் உலகத் தரம் வாய்ந்த ஆராய்ச்சி மையங்களுடன் ஐ.ஐ.டி மெட்ராஸின் உறுப்பு வளாகம் பிப்ரவரி 14 அன்று பிரதமர் மோடியால் திறக்கப்பட்டது.
• துறைமுகங்கள், நீர்வழிகள் மற்றும் கடற்கரைகளுக்கான தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப மையம் நாட்டின் முதல் பெரிய ஆழமற்ற நீர் படுகையாக உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளது. இதற்கு மத்திய துறைமுகங்கள், கப்பல் மற்றும் நீர்வழி அமைச்சகத்தால் நிதியுதவு அளிக்கப்படும்.
• இந்த தேசியத் தொழில்நுட்ப மையம், மத்திய கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து அமைச்சகத்தின் முன்னோடித் திட்டமான சாகர்மாலா திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அமைக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த ஆய்வகத்தில் 360 டிகிரி பிரிட்ஜ் ஷீப் சிமுலேட்டர் நிறுவப்படவுள்ளது.

9. Ctitzen App

• Sumeet urban services has developed a Citizen app for public grievance redress in seven zones in Chennai.
• Both the private and corporation entity can keep track of the grievances by citizens. This app helps residents to lodge, track and redress their complaints and can also seek special services such as collection of horticultural waste, bulk waste etc.,

9. குடிமகன் செயலி

• சுமீத் நகர்ப்புற சேவைகள் சென்னையில் ஏழு மண்டலங்களில் பொதுமக்கள் குறை தீர்க்கும் குடிமகன் செயலியை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
• தனியார் மற்றும் நகராட்சி துறைகள் இரண்டுமே குடிமக்களின் குறைகளை கண்காணிக்க முடியும். இந்த செயலி மக்கள் தங்கள் புகார்களைத் தாக்கல் செய்ய, கண்காணிக்க மற்றும் தீர்க்க உதவுகிறது. மேலும் தோட்டக்கலை கழிவுகள், மொத்த கழிவுகள் அகற்றுதல் போன்ற சிறப்பு சேவைகளையும் பெறலாம்.

10. Dickinsonia

• Three fossils of Dickinsonia has been found on the roof of the Bhimbetka Rock shelters, about 40 km from Bhopal.
• Dickinsonia is one of the earliest known animal which is about 550 million years old.

10. டிக்கின்சோனியா

• போபாலிலிருந்து 40 கி.மீ தூரத்தில் உள்ள பிம்பேத்கா பாறைகளின் கூரையில் மூன்று டிக்கின்சோனியாக்களின் புதைபடிவங்கள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• சுமார் 550 மில்லியன் ஆண்டுகள் பழமையான, பழங்கால விலங்குகளில் டிக்கின்சோனியாவும் ஒன்றாகும்.
