1. 12^th Std Board Examination

• The Director of Examinations C. Usharani has released the 12^th standard State board Examination Time table for students in the state of Tamil Nadu and Pudhucherry.
• This Public examinations will be held from May 3 – May 21.

1. பிளஸ் 2 பொதுத்தேர்வு

• தமிழகம், புதுக்சேரி மாநில பிளஸ் 2 பொதுத்தேர்வுக்கான அட்டவணையை தேர்வுத்துறை இயக்குநர் சி. உஷாராணி வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.
• இந்த பொது தேர்வுகள் மே 3-ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கி, மே-21-ஆம் தேதி வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது.

2. World Bank report

• India tops the world in road crash deaths and injuries according to a report by the World Bank titled ‘Guide for Road Safety Opportunities and Challenges: Low- and Middle-Income Countries Country Profiles’.
• It has 1 percent of the world’s vehicles but accounts for 11 percent of all road crash deaths, witnessing 53 road crashes every hour killing 1 person every 4 minutes.

2. உலக வங்கி அறிக்கை

• ‘சாலை பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் சவால்களுக்கான வழிகாட்டி: குறைந்த மற்றும் நடுத்தர வருமான நாடுகளின் நாட்டின் சுயவிவரங்கள்’ என்ற தலைப்பில் வெளியாகியுள்ள உலக வங்கியின் அறிக்கையின்படி, சாலை விபத்து மற்றும் சாலை விபத்து மரணங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையில் இந்தியா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.
• உலகின் 1 சதவீத வாகனங்களைக் கொண்ட இந்தியா, சாலை விபத்து இறப்புகளில் 11 சதவிகிதத்தை பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு மணி நேரத்திற்கும் 53 சாலை விபத்துக்களும், ஒவ்வொரு 4 நிமிடங்களுக்கும் ஒருவரும் மரணமடைகின்றனர்.

3. Telecom Sectors

• A Production-linked incentive scheme for the telecom sectors has been approved by the union cabinet with an outlay of ₹12,915 crore over five years.
• The implementation of this scheme will start from April 1, 2021 and aims to make India a global hub for manufacturing telecom equipment.

3. தொலைத் தொடர்புத் துறைகள்

• தொலைத் தொடர்புத் துறைகளுக்கு, ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில் ₹12,915 மதிப்பீட்டிலான உற்பத்தி இணைத்த ஊக்கத் திட்டத்திற்கு மத்திய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
• ஏப்ரல் 1, 2021 முதல் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ள இந்த திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம், தொலைதொடர்பு உபகரணங்களை உற்பத்தி செய்வதில் இந்தியாவை உலகளாவிய மையமாக மாற்றுவது ஆகும்.

4. Sri Lanka-Pakistan

• Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Sri Lanka on February 22. The event in which he was scheduled to address the Sri Lankan Parliament has been canceled.
• It was speculated that the Sri Lankan government may have taken this decision considering the possibility of raising the Kashmir issue in his speech.

4. இலங்கை-பாகிஸ்தான்

• பாகிஸ்தான் பிரதமர் இம்ரன் கான் 2 நாள் சுற்றுப்பயணமாக வரும் பிப்ரவரி 22–ஆம் தேதி இலங்கை செல்ல உள்ளார். இந்நிலையில், இலங்கை நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் அவர் உரையாற்றவிருந்த நிகழ்ச்சி ரத்து செய்யப் பட்டுள்ளது.
• அவரது உரையில் காஷ்மீர் விவாகரத்தை எழுப்ப வாய்ப்புள்ளதாக கருதி இலங்கை அரசு இந்த முடிவை எடுத்திருக்கலாம் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

5. 3D printing

• Apollo Medical Group in partnership with Anatomiz 3-D Medtech has introduced a modern infrastructure facility for the manufacture of equipment for human body using 3D printing technology.
• This technology is considered as a pioneer project, which can help in the production of many equipment to save human lives and for emergency treatments.

5. முப்பரிமாண அச்சு(3-டி பிரிண்டிங்)

• அனடோமிஸ் 3-டி மெட்டெக் என்னும் நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து அப்பல்லோ மருத்துவக் குழுமம், மனித உடலுக்குள் பொருத்தப்படும் உபகரணங்களை முப்பரிமாண அச்சு தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் தயாரிப்பதற்கான நவீன கட்டமைப்பு வசதியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தி உள்ளது.
• இந்த தொழில்நுட்பமானது, பல உபகரணங்களை தயாரித்து உயிர்களைக் காப்பாற்றவும், சிகிச்சை அளிக்கவும் உதவுக்கூடிய முன்னோடித் திட்டமாக கருதப்படுகிறது.

6. Agri – Product Processing Scheme

• Under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Sampadha Yojana, 20 schemes have been approved for the processing of agricultural produce and to create storage structures for keeping them safe till they are sold.
• The Infrastructure Package schemes have been approved by Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister for Agriculture and Food Processing, at an estimated cost of ₹363.4 crore.
• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampadha Yojana is a comprehensive programme aimed at creating a modern infrastructure with efficient delivery management from production to sales.

6. விளைப்பொருள்கள் பதப்படுத்துதல் திட்டம்

• பிரதமரின் கிசான் சம்பதா திட்டத்தின் கீழ், விவசாயகளின் விளைபொருள்களை பதப்படுத்தவும், அவற்றை விற்பனை செய்யும் வரை பாதுக்காப்பாக வைத்திருப்பதற்கான கட்டமைப்புகளை உருவாக்கவும் இரு வகையான 20 திட்டங்ககளுக்கு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த கட்டமைப்பு தொகுப்புத் திட்டங்களுக்கு ₹.363.4 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் மத்திய வேளாண், உணவு பதப்படுத்தும் தொழில்கள் துறை அமைச்சர் நரேந்திர சிங் தோமர் அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளார்.
• பிரதம மந்திரி கிசான் சம்பதா யோஜனா என்பது உற்பத்தி முதல் விற்பனை வரை திறமையான விநியோக நிர்வாகத்துடன் கூடிய நவீன உள்கட்டமைப்பை உருவாக்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு விரிவான திட்டமாகும்.

7. Rabindranath Tagore

• In February 1921, the famous poet and Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, traveled to Houston, USA to deliver a lecture at a university.
• The centenary of this event was celebrated for two days at his memorial at Roy Miller Park in Houston on behalf of the Houston Tagore Community.

7. ரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர்

• புகழ்பெற்ற கவிஞரும், நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவருமான ரவீந்திரநாத் தாகூர், பிப்ரவரி 1921-ல் பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஒன்றில் சொற்பொழிவாற்றுவதற்காக அமெரிக்காவின் ஹூஸ்டன் நகருக்கு சென்றார்.
• அந்நிகழ்வின் நூற்றாண்டு விழா ‘ஹூஸ்டன் தாகூர் சமூகம்’ சார்பில், ஹூஸ்டன் நகரில் உள்ள ராய் மில்லர் பூங்காவில் அமைந்திருக்கும் அவரது நினைவிடத்தில் இரண்டு நாட்கள் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

8. Tamil Nadu State Information Commissioner

• The Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwarilal Purohit has appointed the retired district judge P Dhanasekaran and retired joint commissioner of transport M Sridhar as Tamil Nadu State Information Commissioners.
• Swarna, Secretary of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, has issued the order for their appointments.

8. தமிழ்நாடு மாநில தகவல் ஆணையர்

• தமிழக ஆளுநர் பன்வாரிலால் புரோகித் அவர்கள், சேலம் மாவட்ட ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதிபதி பி.தனசேகரன் மற்றும் ஓய்வு பெற்ற போக்குவரத்து இணை ஆணையர் எம்.ஸ்ரீதர் ஆகியோரை தமிழ்நாடு மாநில தகவல் ஆணையர்களாக நியமித்துள்ளார்.
• இதற்கான உத்தரவை பணியாளர் சீர்திருத்தத் துறை செயலாளர், எஸ். ஸ்வர்ணா பிறப்பித்துள்ளார்.

9. Co – Win App

• The Health Ministry has announced that the new version of Co-win digital app will be launched
• Self-registration of COVID-19 vaccine beneficiaries can be done through this new version of Co-win application, which will enable registration of the population in 50+ years category for Covid vaccination.

9. கோ – வின் செயலி

• கோ-வின் டிஜிட்டல் பயன்பாட்டின் புதிய பதிப்பு விரைவில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படும் என சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.
• கொரோனா தடுப்பூசி பயனாளிகளின் சுய பதிவு, கோ-வின் செயலியின் இந்த புதிய பதிப்பின் மூலம் செய்யப்படும். மேலும், இது 50 வயதைக் கடந்தவர்களுக்கான கொரோனா தடுப்பூசி பிரிவில் பதிவு செய்ய உதவும்.

10. Juvenile Law.

• Certain amendments in Juvenile Justice(care and protection of children) Act, 2015 was approved by the union cabinet, which is aimed at ‘strengthening child protection set-up to ensure best interest of children’.
• Under this amendment, District Magistrates are empowered to issue adoption orders as well as monitor the implementation of the law.

10. சிறார் சட்டம்.

• சிறார் (குழந்தைகள் பராமரிப்பு மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு) சட்டம் 2015,-ல் மத்திய அமைச்சரவையால் சில திருத்தங்கள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது ‘குழந்தை பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துவதை’ நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த திருத்தத்தின் கீழ், உத்தரவுகளை வழங்குவதற்கும், சட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்துவதை கண்காணிப்பதற்கும் மாவட்ட நீதிபதிகளுக்கு அதிகாரம் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
