1. Tamil Nadu Government is to present a separate Budget for agriculture

• Governor Banwarilal Purohit said in the 16^th Legislative Assembly meeting, that the Tamil Nadu Government would introduce a separate annual Budget for Agriculture with the objective of increasing agricultural productivity and protecting farmer’s welfare.

2. World’s first-ever genetically modified rubber planted in Assam

• The world’s first genetically modified (GM) rubber plant is planted in a Rubber Board research farm in
• The plant was developed at the Rubber Research Institute of India, Kerala (RRII). The genetically modified rubber has additional copies of the gene MnSOD, or manganese-containing superoxide dismutase. It can withstand severe cold conditions during winter.

2. உலகின் முதல் மரபணு மாற்றப்பட்ட ரப்பர் அசாமில் நடப்பட்டுள்ளது

• உலகின் முதல் மரபணு மாற்றப்பட்ட (GM) ரப்பர் குவஹாத்தியில் உள்ள ரப்பர் போர்டு ஆராய்ச்சி பண்ணையில் நடப்பட்டது.

4. Prime Minister launches M-Yoga App on 7^th International Day of Yoga

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘WHO M-Yoga’ App while addressing on the 7^th International Day of Yoga.Government of India in collaboration with WHO has developed M-Yoga Mobile App. M-Yoga app will provide many videos of Yoga training and practice based on common Yoga protocol in many languages.
• The m-Yoga project focused on four areas:

1. Common Yoga Protocol for General Wellness
2. Yoga for mental health and resilience
3. Yoga for Adolescents
4. Yoga for pre-Diabetics

4. 7வது சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தில் எம்–யோகா செயலியை பிரதமர் அறிமுகப்படுத்தி வைத்தார்

• 7வது சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தன்று உரையாற்றிய பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி ‘உலக சுகாதார நிறுவனத்தின் எம்–யோகா‘ செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். உலக சுகாதார நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து மத்திய அரசு எம்-யோகா மொபைல் செயலியை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. எம்-யோகா பயன்பாடு பல மொழிகளில் பொதுவான யோகா நெறிமுறை அடிப்படையில் யோகா பயிற்சி மற்றும் பயிற்சியின் பல வீடியோக்களை வழங்கும்.
• எம்–யோகா திட்டம் நான்கு பிரிவுகளில் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறது:

5. Andhra Pradesh Governor releases Special Postal Cover brought out by India Post on International Yoga Day

• Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has released a Special Postal Cover brought out by India Post on the International Yoga Day at a programme held in Raj Bhavan.

5. சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தன்று இந்தியா போஸ்ட் வெளியிட்ட சிறப்பு அஞ்சல் அட்டையை ஆந்திர ஆளுநர் வெளியிட்டார்

• ஆந்திரப் பிரதேச ஆளுநர் பிஸ்வா பூசன் ஹரிசந்தன், சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தன்று இந்தியா போஸ்ட் வெளியிட்ட சிறப்பு அஞ்சல் அட்டையை ராஜ்பவனில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் வெளியிட்டார்.

6. The World Investment Report 2021

• India had received 64 billion dollars in Foreign Direct Investment in 2020. India is the fifth largest recipient of inflows in the world, according to “The World Investment Report 2021”.
• In India, Foreign Direct Investment increased 27 percent, to 64 billion dollars in 2020, from 51 billion dollars in 2019, which was pushed up by acquisitions in the information and communication technology industry.
• Global Foreign Direct Investment flows have been severely hit by the pandemic and they plunged 35 percent in 2020, to 1 trillion dollars from 1.5 trillion dollars the previous year.

6. உலக முதலீட்டு அறிக்கை 2021

• 2020ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்தியா 64 பில்லியன் டாலர் வெளிநாட்டு நேரடி முதலீட்டைப் பெற்றது. உலக முதலீட்டு அறிக்கை 2021இன்படி, உலகிலேயே அதிக அளவு வெளிநாட்டு நேரடி முதலீட்டைப் பெறும் ஐந்தாவது நாடாக இந்தியா உள்ளது.
• இந்தியாவில், வெளிநாட்டு நேரடி முதலீடு 2019இல் 51 பில்லியன் டாலர்களில் இருந்து, 2020இல் 64 பில்லியன் டாலர்களாக 27 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்தது, இது தகவல் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் கையகப்படுத்தல்களால் அதிகரித்தது.

• India’s Tajinderpal Singh Toor, the reigning Asian Games champion in men’s shot-put, has qualified for the Tokyo Games with an Asian record throw of 21.49 metres in the Indian Grand Prix IV in Patiala.

7. தஜிந்தர்பால் சிங் டோர் குண்டெறிதலில் டோக்கியோ விளையாட்டு போட்டிக்கு தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளார்

• நடப்பு ஆசிய விளையாட்டு சாம்பியன், இந்திய வீரர் தஜிந்தர்பால் சிங் டோர், ஆண்கள் குண்டெறிதலில் பாட்டியாலாவில் நடந்த இந்திய கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் 4இல் 49 மீட்டர் ஆசிய சாதனையுடன் டோக்கியோ விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிக்கு தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளார்.

8. Tejaswini won the National girls’ under-14 online rapid chess

• Tejaswini of Tamil Nadu won the National girls’ under-14 online rapid chess. She defeated Riddhi Patel.
• Aahana Pachchigar and S. Harshavardhini placed in second spot and Mrittika Mallick won the third place.

8. தேஜாஸ்வினி தேசிய 14 வயதிற்குட்பட்ட பெண்கள் ஆன்லைன் விரைவு சதுரங்க போட்டியில் வென்றார்

• தேசிய 14 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட பெண்கள் ஆன்லைன் விரைவு சதுரங்க போட்டியில் தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த தேஜஸ்வினி வெற்றி பெற்றார். அவர் ரிதி படேலைப் தோற்கடித்தார்.
• ஆஹானா பச்சிகர் மற்றும் எம்.எஸ். ஹர்ஷவர்தினி ஆகியோர் இரண்டாவது இடத்திலும், மிருத்திகா மல்லிக் மூன்றாவது இடத்திலும் வெற்றி பெற்றனர்.

• World Rainforest Day is observed every year on 22 June. It was launched in 2017 by Rainforest Partnership. The day is observed to celebrate the existence of rainforests and create awareness regarding its conservation.

10. The Chaperkar brothers shot British Officer Rand on 22 June 1897

• The Chaperkar brothers – Damodar and Balkrishna, shot British Officer Rand, who was the Plaque Commissioner of Poona. They were the followers of Tilak.
