1) Assiduous 

Meanings – showing great care and perseverance.

Synonyms – Careful, diligent

Antonyms – Lazy , indifferent

Example – He was an assiduous musician till his health became impaired.

2) Acrimonious 

Meanings – Angry and bitter.

Synonyms –  bitter, harsh

Antonyms – Pleasant, Kind

Example –  He didn’t have to explain how accusing his opponent would be perceived, especially after their acrimonious debate.
