INTRODUCTION:
The Questions from Patnership is quite constant they may not trick you in this topic, the only possible way to trick you in this topic is giving unique number of months for each individual.
BASED ON DIFFERENT INVESTMENT PERIOD
BASED ON COMPOUND PARTNERSHIP
BASED ON RATIO’S
#.1 TYPE 1:
BASED ON DIFFERENT INVESTMENT PERIOD:
1)A,B & C enter into Partnership.A invests Rs.1200 for 4 months,B invests Rs.1400 for 8 months and C invests Rs.1000 for 10 months.They gain Rs.585 altogether.Find the share of each.
A’s Investment=1200*4=4800
B’s Investment=1400*8=11200
C’s Investment=1000*10=10000
Their Ratio’s are
=4800:11200:10000
=48:112:100
=24:56:50
=12:28:25
Total Share=12+28+25=65
A’s Share=(12/65)*585=Rs.108
B’s Share=(28/65)*585=Rs.252
C’s Share=(25/65)*585=Rs.225
PRACTICE THIS SUM:
1)A Starts a business with Rs.2000.B joins him after 3 months with Rs.4000.C puts a sum of Rs.10000 in the business for 2 months only.At the end of the year the business gave a profit of Rs.5600How should the profit be divided among them?
2) A and B enter into patnership investing Rs.12000 & Rs.16000 respectively. After 8 months,C also joins the business with the capital of Rs.15000.The share of C in a profit of Rs.45600 after 2 years will be?
#.2 TYPE 2:
BASED ON COMPOUND PARTNERSHIP:
1)A and B enter into a Partnership with their capitals in the ratio 7:9.At the end of 8 months,A withdraws his capital. If they receive the profits in the ratio 8:9,Find how long B’s Capital was used?
A’s Share:
A’s Investment*Time Period
=7*8
=56
B’s Share:
=B’s Investment * Time Period
=9 * x
=9x
Given their Profit is,
A’s Profit=8
B’s Profit=9
=(7*8*9)/(8*9)
=7 months
Therefore B’s Capital is used for 7 Months
PRACTICE THIS SUM:
1)A started a business by investing Rs.2700.After sometime B joined him by investing Rs.2025.At the end of one year, the profit was divided in the ratio 2:1.After how many months did B join the business?
#.3 TYPE 3:
BASED ON RATIO’S:
1)Dilip,Ram and Amar started a shop by investing Rs.2700,Rs.8100 and Rs.7200 respectively. At the end of one year, the Profit was distributed. If Ram’s Share was Rs.3600,their Profit was?
Ratio of three persons=2700:8100:7200
Their Ratio’s=27:81:72
=3:9:8
Given that Ram Share (9x)=3600
x=400
Total Ratio=3+9+8=20
=20*40
=Rs.8000
PRACTICE THIS SUM:
1)Jayant Started a business, investing Rs.6000.Six months later Madhu Joined him, investing Rs.4000.If they made a profit of Rs.5200 at the end of the year, how much must be the share of Madhu?
