IBPS RRB OFFICER SCALE I PRELIMS EXAM 2017 REVIEW, ANALYSIS AND QUESTIONS ASKED IN EXAM – SLOT 2 on 16th September 2017

Dear Banking Aspirant ,

The slot I of the IBPS RRB Scale I Officer Preliminary Examination was held on 16th September 2017. The questions were at the same level as that of the 9th September 2017, IBPS RRB Scale I Officer preliminary examination and the level of Difficulty was also on the same level as that day.

There weren’t much changes in the pattern of the examinations and the only changes were in the difficulty level of the questions and even the topics were the same and now new topics were asked and also no new pattern questions were asked in both the slots of the exams.

You can now relax for a day, as this is the last slot for the IBPS RRB Scale I Officer PReliminary Examination 2017. The exam results will be out soon in a week or two. So keep an eye on the updates page to know more about the Review of all the slots in the IBPS RRB Scale I Officer.

IBPS RRB Scale I Prelims 2017 Exam Analysis:

Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern of the IBPS RRB Scale I Officer Preliminary Examination don’t have the English section as you all know. The Pattern of the topics asked in the different slots of the exams alone vary. The level of difficulty of the questions is also varying according to the slots.

Quantitative Aptitude Review Of IBPS RRB Scale I Prelims Slot 2(40  Questions – 40 Marks)

Best Attempt – 32

Good Attempt – 25+

Simplification – 5 (Easy)
Number Series – 5 (Missing only- Easier level)
Quadratic Equation – 5 (Easy)
Data Interpretation – 3 Sets (Line Graph -1 , Pie chart -1, Tabular -1 ) (Only Tabular was calculative)
Miscellaneous – 10 (problems on Mixture and Allegations , Averages , Ratio and Proportions , Percentages , Interest Rates were asked) (Easier Level)

Quants section was easier for this batch , the feedback from the aspirants say so. They were able to attend around 30+ questions and only a set of DI was so calculative and other sections were like a cake walk. So many candidates would have attended more questions and would have raised the level. No new pattern questions were asked in this slot too and the simplification and number series were also in the easier range. The only constrain is candidates would have skipped some of the miscellaneous questions because of time constrains.

Other than that Quantitative Aptitude section is a easy scoring section in this slot.

Further, the questions of the Quants section and the reasoning section will be updated soon after we obtain the questions from the aspirants and our analysis team.

Logical Reasoning Review Of IBPS RRB Scale I  Prelims  Slot 2   (40  Questions – 40 Marks)

No New pattern questions were asked. You can easily attempt 30 marks in section.

Best Attempt – 32

Good Attempt – 25+

Syllogism -5 (Easy Level – Old Pattern)

Inequalities – 5
Coding Decoding -5 (Easy Level – Old Pattern)
Miscellaneous -5

• Alphabetical Series
• Numerical Series
• Alphanumeric Series

Puzzle – 4 sets (Were almost in the easier range)

If you haven’t attended the puzzle as the first choice of questions, you would have been able to solve the other questions in the blink of an eye. The other topics were relatively easier when compared to the quantitative aptitude section. Even the puzzles were easier when compared to the previous slots. Candidates who have prepared well and are well versed in solving the puzzle questions would have solved more than 35 questions.

Overall Expected Cutoff – 50+ Marks
