TNPSC Forest Apprentice Recruitment 2018 Notification Relased
Dear TNPSC Aspirants,
TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has invited applications from aspirants for the post of Forest Apprentice in the Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service. The total number of vacancies available for the post of Forest Apprentice is 158, which includes the shortfall vacancies.
Aspirants who wish to apply for the post of Forest Apprentice in Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service can do so before the last date. (i.e) 1st August, 2018.
Scale of Pay: Level- 20 Rs.37,700 – 1,19,500

TNPSC Forest Apprentice 2018 – Educational Qualification
(a) Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Forestry or its equivalent degree of any Institution or University recognized by UGC
OR (b) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent degree in any one of the following subjects from any Institution or University recognized by UGC.
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications / Computer Science, Engineering (All Engineering subjects including Agricultural Engineering), Environmental Science, Geology, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Wildlife Biology and Zoology

KNOWLEDGE OF TAMIL: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.
TNPSC Forest Apprentice 2018 – Important Dates:
- Last date to apply Online: August 1, 2018
- Last date for payment of fee through Bank: August 3, 2018
- Date of Written Examination (Paper I, II, III): September 23 to 30, 2018
SELECTION PROCEDURE
(i) Written Examination
(ii) Physical Test (Walking Test)
(iii) Oral Test.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments and subject to qualifying Physical Test. Appearance in all papers of the Written Examination (i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III) , Physical Test and Oral Test is compulsory. An applicant who has not appeared in any of the papers or for the Physical Test will not be considered for Oral Test.
