1. Pey Jal Survekshan

• Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has launched a Pilot Pey Jal Survekshan under Jal Jeevan Mission- Urban (JJM-U).
• Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary, Durga Shanker Mishra stated that it will be conducted in cities to ascertain the equitable distribution of water, reuse of wastewater, and mapping of water bodies with respect to quantity and quality of water through a challenging process.
• Ministry has decided to launch the Survekshan in 10 cities- Agra, Badlapur, Bhubaneswar, Churu, Kochi, Madurai, Patiala, Rohtak, Surat, and Tumkur.
• He also announced that based on the learnings of the pilot, this survekshan will be extended to all the AMRUT cities.

1. பே ஜல் சர்வேக்ஷன்

• வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற அலுவல்கள் அமைச்சகம் ஜல் ஜீவன் மிஷன்- அர்பன் திட்டத்தின் இன் கீழ் பே ஜல் சர்வேக்ஷனை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
• வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற அலுவல்கள் செயலாளர் துர்கா ஷங்கர் மிஸ்ரா, ஒரு சவாலான செயல்முறையின் மூலம் நீரின் சமமான விநியோகம், கழிவுநீரை மறுபயன்பாடு செய்தல் மற்றும் நீரின் அளவு மற்றும் தரம் குறித்து நீர்நிலைகளை வரைபடமாக்குவது ஆகியவற்றுக்கு நகரங்களில் கணக்கெடுப்பு நடத்தப்படும் என அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
• ஆக்ரா, பத்லாப்பூர், புவனேஸ்வர், சுரு, கொச்சி, மதுரை, பாட்டியாலா, ரோஹ்தக், சூரத், மற்றும் தும்கூர் ஆகிய 10 நகரங்களில் இந்த கணக்கெடுப்பை தொடங்க அமைச்சகம் முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
• முதல் கட்ட செயல்பாட்டின் அடிப்படையில், இந்த கணக்கெடுப்பு அனைத்து AMRUT நகரங்களுக்கும் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும் என்றும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2. Puducherry

• President of India announced removal of Kiran Bedi as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
• Telangana Governor Thamizhisai Soundararajan will be given additional charge as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry till the appointment of the new Governor.

2. புதுச்சேரி

• புதுச்சேரி துணை நிலை ஆளுநர் பதவியிலிருந்து கிரண் பேடி அவர்களை விடுவிப்பதாக குடியரசுத் தலைவர் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
• புதிய ஆளுநர் நியமிக்கப்படும் வரையில் தெலுங்கானா ஆளுநர் தமிழிசை சௌந்தர்ராஜன் புதுச்சேரியின் துணை நிலை ஆளுநராகவும் செயல்படுவார் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

3. Tourism

• The tenth conference of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India was held for three days in Kevadiya, Gujarat.
• Aravind Singh, Chief Secretary of Government of India announced that efforts would be taken to improve heritage tourist destinations in the southern states including Tamil Nadu to attract tourists to compensate for the revenue losses caused by Corona lockdown.

3. சுற்றுலாத் துறை

• இந்தியா உள்நாட்டு சுற்றுலா ஏற்பாட்டாளர்கள் அமைப்பின் பத்தாவது மாநாடு குஜராத் மாநிலத்தின் கெவடியா நகரில் மூன்று நாட்கள் நடைபெற்றது.
• அம்மாநாட்டில் மத்திய சுற்றுலாத் துறை முதன்மை செயலாளர் அரவிந்த் சிங், கொரானாவால் ஏற்பட்ட வருவாய் இழப்புகளை ஈடுகட்டும் விதமாக, சுற்றுலா பயணிகளை ஈர்க்கு வகையில் தமிழகம் உள்ளிட்ட தென்னிந்திய மாநிலங்களில் பாரம்பரியமிக்க சுற்றுலாத் தலங்களை மேம்படுத்தும் நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்படும் என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

4. E – Chhawani portal

• Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the E-Chhawani portal and mobile app in New Delhi. This portal has been created to provide online civic services to over 20 lakh residents of 62 Cantonment Boards across the country.
• It has been jointly developed by eGov Foundation, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Directorate General Defence Estates (DGDE), and National Informatics Centre (NIC).

4. இ – சவானி வலைத்தளம்

• மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு துறை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் புதுடெல்லியில் இ-சவானி வலைத்தளம் மற்றும் கைப்பேசி செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். நாடு முழுவதும் 62 கன்டோன்மென்ட் போர்டுகளில் வசிக்கும் 20 லட்சத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு ஆன்லைன் குடிமை சேவைகளை வழங்க இந்த தளம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த வலைதளத்தை இணைய அரசு அறக்கட்டளை, பாரத் எலெக்ட்ரானிக்ஸ் லிமிடெட் , பொது பாதுகாப்பு இயக்குநரகம் மற்றும் தேசிய தகவல் மையம் ஆகியவை இணைந்து உருவாக்கியுள்ளன.

5. International solar Alliance

• The International Solar Alliance (ISA) announced Mr. Ajay Mathur as its new Director-General following his election at the first special assembly of ISA members.
• The International Solar Alliance is a treaty based inter-governmental organization launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015 in order to promote the demand for and use of sustainable, safe, and affordable solar energy for all.

5. சர்வதேச சூரிய சக்தி கூட்டமைப்பு

• சர்வதேச சூரிய சக்தி உறுப்பினர்கள் கூட்டமைப்பின் முதல் சிறப்பு மாநாட்டில் அவர்கள், புதிய தலைமை இயக்குநராக தேர்ந்த்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுளார்.
• சர்வதேச சூரிய சக்தி கூட்டமைப்பு என்பது அனைவருக்கும் நிலையான, பாதுகாப்பான சூரிய ஆற்றல் மற்றும் பயன்பாட்டை ஊக்குவிக்கும் பொருட்டு இந்திய பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியால் 2015 இல் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஒப்பந்த அடிப்படையிலான ஒரு அரசு-அமைப்பு ஆகும்.

6. Operation Smile

• On February 1, Operation Smile, a rehabilitation programme for children in need of security in Chennai City was launched by the Commissioner of Police.
• So far, 435 children have been rescued under the Special Protection of this operation.

6. ஆபரேஷன் ஸ்மைல்

• சென்னை மாநகரில் பாதுகாப்பு தேவைப்படும் குழந்தைகள் மீட்டெடுக்கப்பட்டு மறுவாழ்வு வழங்கும் திட்டமான ஆபரேஷன் ஸ்மைல் கடந்த பிப்ரவரி 1ல் காவல் ஆணையரால் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
• இந்த குழந்தைகள் பாதுகாப்பு சிறப்பு சட்டத்தின் கீழ், இதுவரை 435 குழந்தைகள் மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

7. Jammu and Kashmir

• The District Development Council elections were recently held following the centre’s revocation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution in 2019.
• Diplomats from European and African countries will review the developments in Jammu and Kashmir for two days starting February 17.

7. ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீர்

• கடந்த 2019-ம் ஆண்டு மத்திய அரசு, அரசமைப்பு சட்டம் 370-ன் கீழ் ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீருக்கு அளித்து வந்த சிறப்பு அந்தஸ்தை ரத்து செயத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து, அங்கு மாவட்ட வளர்ச்சி கவுன்சில் தேர்தல் சமீபத்தில் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
• தேர்தலுக்குப் பிறகு ஜம்மு காஷ்மீரில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட வளர்ச்சி குறித்து ஐரோப்பிய மற்றும் ஆப்பிரிக்க நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த தூதர்கள் பிப்ரவரி 17 தொடங்கி இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு ஆய்வு செய்ய உள்ள்னர்.

8. Prani Mitra

• Animal welfare Board of India has awarded Prani Mitra to Chinny Krishna, co-founder of the Blue cross of India for his lifetime services to animals.
• Prani Mitra is India’s highest award for Animal welfare.

• இந்திய விலங்குகள் நல வாரியம், விலங்குகளுக்கான வாழ்நாள் சேவைகளுக்காக இந்தியாவின் புளூ கிராஸ் இணை நிறுவனர் எஸ்.சின்னி கிருஷ்ணாவுக்கு பிராணி மித்ரா விருதை வழங்கியுள்ளது.
• பிராணி மித்ரா, விலங்குகளின் நலனுக்காக இந்தியாவில் வழங்கப்படும் மிக உயரிய விருது ஆகும்.

9. Covax

• The world Health organization approved two versions of Astrazeneca-Oxford covid-19 vaccines for emergency, to be rolled out globally through Covax.
• Covax is a co-led by the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), and others. It is a global initiative aimed at equitable access to Covid-19 vaccines.

9. கோவாக்ஸ்

• உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு, அஸ்ட்ராஜெனெகா-ஆக்ஸ்போர்டு கோவிட் -19 தடுப்பூசிகளின் இரண்டு பதிப்புகளை அவசரகாலத்திற்கான கோவக்ஸ் திட்டத்தின் மூலம் உலகளவில் வெளியிட ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது.
• கோவக்ஸ் என்பது தடுப்பூசிகள் மற்றும் நோய்த்தடுப்புக்கான உலகளாவிய கூட்டமைப்பு (GAVI), உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு (WHO), தொற்றுநோய்களுக்கான தயார்நிலை கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்கான கூட்டமைப்பு (CEPI) அகியவற்றின் இணை திட்டமாகும்.
• இது கோவிட் -19 தடுப்பூசிகள் உலக மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் சமமாக விநியோகம் செய்வதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு உலகளாவிய முயற்சி ஆகும்.

10. UN Coordinator – China

• Siddharth Chatterjee, Senior United Nations official has been appointed as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in China.
• He will be taking charge for the work of UN’s 27 agencies, funds and programmes in the world’s most populous country.

10. ஐ.நா ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் – சீனா

• சீனாவில் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளராக ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் மூத்த அதிகாரி சித்தார்த் சாட்டர்ஜி அவர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்
• உலகின் அதிக மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட நாடான சீனாவில், ஐ.நா.வின் 27 அமைப்புகள், நிதி மற்றும் திட்டங்களின் செயல்பாட்டு பணிகளுக்கு அவர் பொறுப்பேற்பார் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
