Assam Assembly – GST Bill

A three-day special session of the Assam Assembly begins at Dispur in Guwahati today to pass the State GST Bill.

The special session of the assembly is being conveyed to pass the Assam GST bill .

Apart from the state GST , another six bills including Assam Appropriation Bill and Assam taxation (Amendment) bill are expected to be tabled in the assembly.

It is worth to recall that the eight Legislative Assemblies have passed the State GST Acts within a short span of less than a month.

The States are : Telangana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.
