Khajuraho Dance Festival Held In Madhya Pradesh:
The 44th edition of Khajuraho Dance Festival 2018 was held at Khajuraho temple, a UNESCO world heritage site in Madhya Pradesh. It was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and was organized by culture department of state government.
Khajuraho Dance Festival is an annual cultural festival that highlights the richness of various Indian classical dance styles. The 6-day festival showcased classical dances including Kathak, Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathakali, and Mohiniattam.

21st National Conference on e-Governance to begin in Hyderabad:

DRDO Successfully Test Flight Rustom 2:
DRDO successfully flew its Rustom 2 at its Aeronautical Test Range(ATR) at Chalakere at Chitradurga. This flight assumes significance due to the fact that this is the first flight in user configuration with higher power engine.

SAARC Business Leaders will gather in Kathmandu next month to take part in SAARC Business Leaders’ Conclave
Business leaders of SAARC member nations will gather in Kathmandu next month to take part in the SAARC Business Leaders’ Conclave scheduled to be held from March 16 to 18, with an objective to promote investment, innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAARC-CCI) President Suraj Vaidya said, the bi-annual event of the SAARC-CCI is going to be held in Nepal for the second time and the government is going to host the regional event jointly with SAARC-CCI.

Sri Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe takes over additional charge of Law, Order minister
Sri Lanka’s prime minister took over the key law and order ministry as part of a cabinet reshuffle, after a local election defeat sparked calls for his resignation.
Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe was sworn in to the ministerial post, a week after the minister in charge of the police, Sagala Ratnayaka, resigned amid accusations he had failed to prosecute members of the former regime.

Govt imposes anti-dumping duty on ceramicware from China to protect domestic producers:
India has imposed anti-dumping duty on import of ceramic tableware and kitchenware from China in a bid to protect domestic producers. Ceramic tableware and kitchenware shipped in from China will attract an anti-dumping duty of 1.04 US Dollar per kg, making the imports expensive.
All India Pottery Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and the Indian Ceramic Society had approached the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) for imposition of the levy on the items. Based on the recommendations of DGAD, the revenue department in the finance ministry has slapped the duty. Earlier, a provisional anti-dumping duty was imposed in June 2017.

Aruna Budda Reddy becomes 1st Indian to win individual medal at Gymnastics World Cup
Aruna Budda Reddy has created history by becoming the first Indian to win an individual medal at the Gymnastics World Cup. She clinched a Bronze in the Women’s Vault event in Melbourne.
Aruna, who hails from Hyderabad, scored 13.649 average points to finish third and claim the bronze medal at the Hisense Arena. Tjasa Kysslef of Slovania took home the Gold, while Emily Whitehead of Australia won the Silver.

Bollywood actor Sridevi passed away after a cardiac arrest, confirmed her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor. She was 54.
