FINANCE /ACCOUNTS: (9 Vacancies)

Candidate must possess B. Com Degree from a recognised University with at least 60% marks in the degree examination for General & OBC category candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.

Desirable Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost Accountant (ICWAI)/M Com

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (Software): (2 Vacancies)

B.E. / B. Tech. in IT OR Computer Science OR MCA with at least 60% marks for General and OBC category candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST category candidates OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.

Desirable Qualification: *Desirable skill set mentioned below.

MARINE ENGINEERING: (1 Vacancy)

COMPANY SECRETARY: ( 2 Vacacnies)

ACS/FCS from ICSI and Graduation from a recognised university with at least 60% marks in case General & OBC category candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST candidates OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.

HINDI: (1 Vacancy)

Post Graduate in Hindi with English as one of the subjects in Graduation OR Post Graduate in English with Hindi as one of the subjects in Graduation with at least 60% marks in the degree examination for General & OBC candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST candidates OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with the prescribed benchmark.

Desirable Qualification:

Certification in Translation work or work experience in translation.

GIC Assistant Manager Scale – 1 Officer (Category Wise Vacancies)

Age Limit – GIC Assistant Manager – (Scale – I Officer) Recruitment 2019

The age limit for the GIC Assistant Manager Scale – I (Officer) will be calculated as of 21^st August, 2019.

• Minimum age:  21 years.
• Maximum age:  30 years

Candidate should have been born not earlier than 22.08.1989 and not later than 21.08.1998 both days inclusive.

Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the SC/ST and OBC as per the government guidelines.

Selection Procedure – GIC Assistant Manager – (Scale – I Officer) Recruitment 2019

There are following phases for the recruitment of candidates for this post –

• Written Test
• Group Discussion and Interview

The total marks for Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview will be 200.

o   Minimum qualifying marks in the online test – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for

o   Minimum qualifying marks for overall selection process (online test, GD and Interview) – 60% for General & OBC and 50% for SC /ST.

• The Part B and Part C of examination shall be common for the candidates of all the streams other than Hindi Officer. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked (in objective tests) by the candidates. For each wrong answer ¼ of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained. Tests will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except test of English Language other than Hindi Officer. The minimum qualifying marks would be applicable on the total score of online examination.
• The Descriptive English/Hindi Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. Answers are to be typed using the keyboard in English. Before start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper, please check all key functions of the keyboard.
• Total test timing 150 minutes. 30 minutes for PART A- Objective, 60 minutes for Part B objective and 60 minutes for Part C (descriptive). Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and interview on the basis of overall marks scored in the online examination

Note : Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates will be given pre-recruitment online training. Candidates will be advised about the online pre-recruitment training two/three weeks before the main exam.

Salary & Compensation – GIC Assistant Manager – (Scale – I Officer) Recruitment 2019

• The finally selected candidates will be eligible for the Basic pay of 32,795/-per month along with admissible allowances and other non-core benefits.
• The total gross salary will be Rs. 59,000/- per month.
