HOW TO GET 20+ MARKS IN SBI PO PRELIMS EXAM 2018

Aspirants have to get well versed in the three sections which are indispensable for the English preparation. The three sections are :

The Next Major Type in the Grammar section is the PHRASAL REPLACEMENT / SENTENCE REPLACEMENT / SENTENCE IMPROVEMENT. One sentence with a PHRASE will be provided and aspirants have to find the correct replacement for the highlighted word. The Sentence replacement will have a word mentioned and aspirants have to find the correct sentence which is grammatically correct. This section is same as like that of the Error Spotting section.


COMPREHENSION – ENGLISH – SBI PO Prelims 2018

Reading Comprehension has changed a lot in the exams and now new pattern reading comprehension and old pattern reading comprehension are asked in the recent exams. The complexity of the questions rises when the level of the difficulty increases. In some of the exams the reading comprehension Questions increase upto 15 Questions and this is a rarity in the Prelims Exam, so we can assume that the reading comprehension section can have a total of 10 Questions.

The Vocabulary section is the next easiest way to score marks and in this section Cloze test and Filler type questions were asked. New pattern and old pattern Cloze test and also filler type questions are also asked in the recent exams. Mostly Cloze test and Filler type questions appear in parallel, so you can expect sure questions from this section.

Cloze – a passage with 10 blanks to be filled in by suitable words.

Type 1: single filler – one sentence to be filled in by a word in the single blank(4 options are given)

Type 2: single filler in two sentences – two sentences to be filled in by the same word suitable for both the sentences out of the 4 options given

Type 3 : double fillers – one sentence with two blanks to be filled in 4 options with 2 words in each given
