IBPS Clerk 2018 – Age Limit 

  • Minimum Age : 20 years
  • Maximum Age : 28 years

i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 and not later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive).

Upper Age limit can be availed by the aspirants as per the norms of the government.

IBPS Clerk 2018 – Educational Qualification 

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Supreme Court has quashed the Interview process for the lower level postings in Government Organizations, so from then Regional Language test is considered as one important factor in the recruitment process of IBPS Clerk. So according to this, a candidate should know to read, write & speak the official language of the state/union territory as the job nature of clerks demand them to converse with the customers of their branches and so knowing the local language is one of the undeniable important factor in the clerk level recruitment process.

IBPS Clerk 2018 – Mains Exam Pattern

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern is given below. No change in the IBPS CLERK Mains Exam 2018 as the exam pattern is same as that of the previous year.

There is separate sectional timing for each test of Reasoning, General awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English.

  • SC / ST / PWD / EXSM candidates required to pay Rs. 100/-.
  • All other candidates: Rs. 600/- will be collected (Online Payment) as Application Fee.
