Important Updates from SSC : SSC CGL 2017 Tier III & Revised SSC CHSL 2016 Resuts

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has announced the exam dates for the SSC CGL TIER III Exam 2017 and also the revised result for SSC CHSL 2016. When every aspirant who have attended the SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2017 are eagerly awaiting for the results of the same, here comes an announcement from SSC regarding the SSC CGL Tier III Exam 2017.

SSC CGL Tier III 2017 – Exam Date 

The result of CGLE (Tier-II), 2017 is tentatively proposed to be declared on 08-06-2018. The tentative date for the conduct of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-III) Examination, 2017 is 08-07-2018. Accordingly it is clarified that only those candidates who qualify in Tier-II of CGLE, 2017 will be called for appearing in Tier-III. Therefore the aforesaid write-up of the result of Tier-I of CGLE, 2017 may be treated as amended to this extent.

CUTOFF MARKS OF SSC CGL 2017

Regrading the cutoff marks for the SSC CGL 2017, it has been clearly mentioned in the notification (Para 9) that

“The merit will be prepared on overall performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III. However, the candidate will need to qualify all the tiers i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III separately. There will be no sectional cut-off.”

REVISED SSC CHSL 2016 Results 

SSC has also released the revised final results of the SSC CHSL 2016 Exam which was released on 16th February, 2018. The revised results of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2016 is released now for the posts of Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Court Clerk, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has also declared the reasons for the release of the new revised list of Results and they are :

Candidates of ‘Lohar’ community of Bihar were considered as ST candidates but the aforesaid community has not been included in the list of STs of BIHAR.

The Skill Test data of 55 candidates was not taken into account while preparing the final result of CHSL

There has been several changes in the newly released SSC CHSL final Results and the important ones are

List-1: 71 (seventy one) candidates who were ‘not selected’ in the earlier result are now declared as ‘selected’.

List-2: 72 (seventy two) candidates who were declared ‘selected’ in the earlier result are now declared as not selected.

List-3: 93 (ninety three) candidates in respect of whom there is a change in the Post/ Department.

List-4: Due to revision in the result, ranks of the candidates have been revised.
