South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 – PGDBF Manipal Notification Released

South Indian Bank has released the notification for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) which is an one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (MaGE), Bangalore. South Indian Bank which is one of the India’s Premier commercial Banks have invited the applications from vibrant candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. The Total number of vacancies available for the South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 – Manipal PGDBF is 100.

Previously, South Indian Bank has conducted the Online Examination for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) which is a direct recruitment process for the branches of South Indian Bank. The Exam of South Indian Bank PO 2018 was conducted on 17^th June, 2018. This recruitment notification of South Indian Bank PO 2018 which is released now is for the post of Probationary Officers which will be filled through One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt.Ltd (MaGe) Bangalore.

SELECTION PROCEDURE – South Indian Bank PO 2018 

The Selection Procedure for the South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 – PGDBF Manipal shall be selected through the following phases of exams.

• PHASE I     –  Online Test 
• PHASE II   –  GROUP DISCUSSION / (or/and) Personal Interview

Admission to the One-year full-time post graduate diploma course in Banking and Finance from Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE) (Deemed to be University) to be conducted at Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore (MaGE) comes with the assured Banking career with South Indian Bank on successful completion of the course.

Exam Pattern – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 

The Exam Pattern of South Indian Bank PO 2018 Recruitment 2018 – PGDBF Manipal is different from that of that of the previous South Indian Bank PO – Direct Recruitment for the Branches through Online Exam and Personal Interview. The Number of Questions and Total Marks differ from that of the previous exams.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018

• Aspirants who wish to apply for the post of Probationary Officers should have completed X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC & Graduation with minimum 60 % marks under regular course.
• The Educational Qualification should be considered as on 31.12.2017. (So aspirants who have graduated in the above said date can apply).
• Minimum Percentage : 60% Marks
• Candidates who are meeting the requisite educational qualification as on 31.12.2017 only will be eligible to Apply.
• Candidate should have passed X, XII and Graduation under regular course (full time course) from a recognised University/ Institute recognised by the Govt. of India. Educational qualification by mode of distance education will not be considered.
• If Grade/ CGPA is awarded instead of marks, only candidates securing CGPA/ Grade equivalent to 60% or more may apply. Equivalent percentage should be mentioned at the time of application.
• Those who have scored less than 60% marks will not be eligible for applying. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not allowed. (for e.g. 59.99 % cannot be rounded off to 60 % ).

AGE LIMIT – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018

• Age Limit :  < 25 Years 
• Less than 25 years as on 31.12.2017.
• Candidate should be born not earlier than 01.01.1993 and not later than 31.12.1998 (both days inclusive).
• Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.

PROGRAMME AND COURSE FEE – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 

Selected candidates will undergo

8 – Months Residential Campus Programme @ Manipal Global Education Services Pvt.Ltd, Bangalore (MaGe)

4 – Months’ Internship @ Bank Branch.

On successful completion of the programme, the candidates may be awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and will be absorbed to the services of the Bank as Probationary Officer in Scale I cadre.

COURSE FEE : South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 

Course Fee : Rs. 3.50 Lakhs (includes Boarding , Lodging and Course Fees, Other Fees, etc.) + Taxes 

FINANCING/ LOAN OPTIONS:

• All the candidates selected for the program will be eligible for availing educational loan facility provided by the Bank.
• The EMIs for the loan would start from the month of joining the Bank.
• There would be no recovery of EMIs or interest during the One year course period and the interest accrued during this course period of one year would be recovered along with the normal EMIs.
• The EMIs are spread over a period of 84 months (7 years) to ensure that there is minimal impact on the monthly earnings of the Probationary Officer.

SALARY , EMOLUMENTS & INCENTIVES – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018

• Salary Pay Scale : Rs. 23700– 980/7 – 30560- 1145/2 – 32850- 1310/7 – 42020 +DA + HRA & other allowances
• The loyalty bonus of Rs.3,50,000/- shall be paid to the officers as annual installments from the end of 5^th year upto the end of 10^th of year of continuous service in the Bank based on the satisfactory performance of the candidates and recommendation from the Performance Evaluation Committee.
• The students will paid a sum of Rs 3,000/- p.m. during 8 months classroom training and an amount of Rs 15,000/- p.m. during internship period of 4 months

PROBATION – South Indian Bank PO Recruitment 2018 

The period of probation is 2 years (inclusive of one year course period). Confirmation will be subject to satisfactory performance during probation.
