SSC Exams 2020 – Download Official COVID – 19 New Guidelines

Dear SSC Aspirants,

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has released the new guidelines for the SSC Exams 2020 due to the prevailing COVID 19 situation.

SSC has also released the yearly calendar for the SSC exams for the year 2020 – 2021 which also includes the exams which are postponed due to the ongoing pandemic COVID- 19.

On 29th September 2020, SSC has issued a notice on the official website of SSC containing the Guidelines to be followed for the upcoming SSC Exams & also the general instructions for the aspirants appearing for the upcoming SSC Exams.

The Board has released a statement/official notification regarding the change in one of the points mentioned in the Guidelines to be followed in the upcoming SSC Exams.

Below given is an excerpt from the official notification released the SSC Board regarding the Change in the Guidelines to be followed in the Upcoming SSC Exams (Computer Based Exams) for the year 2020 – 2021. 

In continuation of the Commission’s Notice dated 29.09.2020 regarding Important Instructions for the candidates of the upcoming computer Based Examinations, the Commission has decided to make separate/ isolated sitting arrangements for candidates with high temperature/ cough, etc.

ii). Accordingly, the Point no 7 of Advisory for Candidates regarding Covid-19 may be read as:

“Candidates with fever, cough, etc, will be allowed to appear in the examination in a separately isolated sitting arrangement”.

Previously, the notification released on 29th September 2020 has carried a note, “Candidates with COVID-19 positive declaration or symptoms of fever, cough, etc. will not be permitted entry into the examination venue. Candidates will be checked with thermo guns at the entry point for fever and candidates having above normal (>99.14° F/ 37.3o C) temperature will not be allowed entry.” 

Now, SSC will now permit the candidates with Fever and Cough to be seated in a separate isolated seating arrangement, so that the aspirant/ candidate will not miss the exams.
