1. International Mother Language Day

• International Mother Language Day is observed on February 21 around the world. It’s a day to celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity.
• International Mother Language Day has been observed every year since 2000.
• International Mother Language day 2019 theme is “Indigenous languages matter for development, peacebuilding, and reconciliation”.

சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி நாள்

• பல்வேறு மொழிகள், கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் பண்பாடு ஆகியவற்றை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக 
  உலகம் முழுவதும் சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி தினம் பிப்ரவரி 21-ம் தேதி அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.

• சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி நாள் 2000ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 
  கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

• 2019-ம் ஆண்டு சர்வதேச தாய்மொழி தினத்தின் கருத்துருவானது “முன்னேற்றம்
  அமைதியை கட்டமைத்தல் மற்றும் சமரசம் ஆகியவற்றிற்கு உள்நாட்டு 
  மொழிகள் அவசியம்”.

2. Beresheet Spacecraft

• Israel is to launch its first moon mission, sending an unmanned spacecraft to collect data. The 585-kilogram Beresheet spacecraft is to lift off atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
• So far only Russia, the United States of America, and China have sent spacecraft to the moon.

பெரேஷீட் விண்கலம்

• இஸ்ரேல் நிலவை பற்றிய தகவல்களை பெற தனது முதல் நிலவிற்கான திட்டத்தை பெரேஷீட்
  ( BERSHEET) என்ற ஆளில்லா விண்கலத்தை செலுத்துவதின் மூலம் செயல்படுத்த உள்ளது.
• இந்த 585 கிலோ எடை கொண்ட விண்கலம் பால்கன்-9 என்ற ராக்கெட் மூலம் விண்ணில் எவப்படுகிறது.

• ரஷ்யா, அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் சீனா ஆகிய நாடுகளுக்கு பிறகு 4-வது நாடாக 
  இஸ்ரேல்லும் தனது விண்கலத்தை செலுத்துகிறது.

3. Shanghai Railway Station

• China is set to launch what it bills as ‘the world’s first 5G railway station’ this year with the technology from Huawei.

ஷாங்காய் ரயில் நிலையம்

சீனா உலகிலேயே முதல் முறையாக தனது ஷாங்காய் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் 5ஜி நெட்வொர்க் சேவையை ஹவாய் நிறுவனத்தின் தொழில்நுட்ப உதவியுடன் இந்த வருடத்தில் தொடங்க உள்ளது.

4. Tarun Sridhar appointed as Secretary

• Central government appointed Tarun Sridhar as the New Secretary of Department of Animal Husbandry Dairying & Fisheries Ministry.

மத்திய அரசு, தருண் ஸ்ரீதர் அவர்களை கால்நடைத்துறை மற்றும் பால் உற்பத்தித்துறை மற்றும் மீன்வளத்துறை செயலாளராக நியமித்துள்ளது.

5. Dhanush Artillery Gun

• The Ordnance Factory Board has received a bulk production clearance from the Indian Army and the Defence Ministry for production of 114 ‘Dhanush’ artillery guns.
• ‘Dhanush’ is the first long-range artillery gun to be produced in India and it is a major success of the Make in India initiative.

• ராணுவ தளவாட தொழிற்சாலை வாரியத்திற்கு (OFB)  114 தனுஷ் பிரங்கி துப்பாக்கிகளை தயாரிப்பதற்கான அனுமதியை இந்திய ராணுவம் மற்றம் பாதுகாப்பு துறை அமைச்சகம் அளித்துள்ளது.
• தனுஷ் ஆனது முதன் முதலில் இந்தியாவில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட நீண்ட தூர இலக்குகளை தாக்கும் பீரங்கி துப்பாக்கியாகும். இது இந்தியாவில் தயாரிப்போம்(Make in India Scheme) திட்டத்துக்கு கிடைத்த மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியாகும்.

6. Astronomical Society of India

• The Astronomical Society of India, recently elected Dr. G C Anupama as a new president. She is the first woman president of Astronomical Society of India.

இந்திய வானியல் சங்கம்

• இந்திய வானியல் சங்கத்தின் புதிய தலைவராக டாக்டர். பு ஊ.அனுபாமா நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். இவர் இந்திய வானியல் சங்கத்தின் முதல் பெண் தலைவர் ஆவார்.

7. World day of Social Justice

• World day of Social Justice is observed on February 20 around the world. The theme of 2019 is “If you want Peace and Development, Work for Social Justice”.
• This day is observed since 2009 by United Nation.

உலக சமூக நீதி தினம்

• உலகம் முழுவதும் உலக சமூக நீதி தினம் பிப்ரவரி 20 அன்று கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. 
  இவ்வாண்டின் கருப்பொருள்ளானது “ உங்களுக்கு அமைதியும் முன்னேற்றமும் 
  வேண்டுமென்றால்; சமூக நீதிக்காக உழையுங்கள்”.

• இத்தினம் 2009 முதல் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையால் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
