1. Crying Snake

A new species of ‘crying’ snake’ has been discovered in Lepa-Rada district of Arunachal Pradesh. Crying snake refers to the mark below its eyes, that gives the illusion that it is crying.
The discovery of the non-venomous, whose zoological name is Hebius lacrima, has been published in Zootaxa, the New Zealand-based scientific mega-journal for animal taxonomy.

கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் பாம்பு

• அருணாச்சலப் பிரதேசத்தின் லெபாரடா மாவட்டத்தில் “கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் பாம்பு” என்ற புதிய இனம்

கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. “கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் பாம்பு” என்பது பாம்பின் கண்ணுக்கு கீழே இருக்கும் கருத்த பகுதியை

குறிப்பிடுகின்றது. இது பாம்பு கண்ணீர் சிந்துவது போன்ற மாயத் தோற்றத்தைக் ஏற்படுத்துகின்றது.

• இந்தப் புதிய நச்சுத் தன்மையற்ற கண்ணீர் சிந்தும் பாம்பின் கண்டுபிடிப்பானது நியூசிலாந்தை தலைமையிடமாகக் கொண்டு

இயங்கும் விலங்கு வகைப்பாட்டிற்கான மிகப்பெரிய அறிவியல் பத்திரிக்கையான “சூடேக்ஸா” என்ற பத்திரிக்கையில்

பிரசுரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• இப்பாம்பின் விலங்கியல் பெயர் ஹெபியஸ் லேக்ரிமா ஆகும்.

2. LADIS Portal

The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) launched a new portal LADIS (Least Available Depth Information System), that would ensure real-time information on available depth on stretches of national waterways.
LADIS will ensure that real-time data on least available depths is disseminated for ship and cargo owners so that they can undertake transportation on national waterways in a more planned way.

லேடிஸ் இணைய வாயில்

நீர்வழிப் போக்குவரத்துகளை சரியான முறையில் பயன்படுத்துவதை உறுதி செய்வதற்காக லேடிஸ் ( LADIS) என்ற புதிய தளத்தை இந்திய உள்நாட்டு நீர்வழி ஆணையம் (IWAI) அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
இது கப்பல் மற்றும் சரக்குக் கப்பல் ஆகியவற்றின் நிகழ்நேரத் தகவல்களை அளிக்கும். எனவே அவற்றின் உரிமையாளர்கள் திட்டமிடப்பட்டவாறு தேசிய நீர்வழிப் பாதைகளில் பயணத்தை மேற்கொள்ள முடியும்.

3. Laureus Sports Awards 2019

Serbia’s tennis player Novak Djokovic took the Sportsman of the year award at the Laureus Sports Awards in Monaco. Simone Biles, American gymnast, won the Sportswoman of the year award.
Japan’s female tennis player Naomi Osaka won the Breakthrough of the year award.
Yuwa, the Jharkhand based NGO that was awarded the Laureus Sport for Good award 2019 has been changing the lives of young women through football.
The Laureus Sports Awards annually honours the greatest achievements of individual, team and organisation from the sporting landscape.

லாரெஸ் விருது 2019

• ஓவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் விளையாட்டுத் துறையில் சிறப்பாக செயல்படும் தனிநபர் அணிகள் மற்றும் அமைப்புகள் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு உயரிய விருதான லாரஸ் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

• இந்த ஆண்டின் சிறந்த வீரருக்கான விருதை டென்னிஸ் வீரரான செர்பியாவின் நோவக் ஜோகோவிக் தட்டிச் சென்றார். சிறந்த வீராங்கனைக்கான விருது அமெரிக்காவின் ஜிம்னாஸ்டிக் வீராங்கனையான சிமோன் பில்ஸக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• திருப்பு முனையை ஏற்படுத்தியவருக்கான விருது ஜப்பான் டென்னிஸ் வீராங்கனையான நவோமி ஒசாகாவுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• ‘சிறந்த விருது’ பிரிவில் ஜார்க்கண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் செயல்பட்டுவரும் யுவா அமைப்புக்கு விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. இளம் பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கையை கால்பந்து விளையாட்டு மூலம் மேம்படுத்தும் பணிகளை ஜார்க்கண்ட் பகுதிகளில் மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.

4. e-AUSHADHI portal

Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik launched the e-AUSHADHI portal, for online licensing of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy drugs and related matters.
Timelines will be fixed for processing of application through this portal with SMS and e-mail status updates at each step of the process.

இ-ஆஷாதி தளம்

• ஆயுர்வேதம் சித்தா; யுனானி மற்றும் ஹோமியோபதி மருந்துப் பொருட்கள் மற்றும் அவை தொடர்பானவற்றிற்கு நிகழ்நேரத்தில் உரிமம் வழங்குவதற்காக மின்னணு முறையிலான இ -ஆஷாதி (e-AUSHADHI) என்ற தளத்தை ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சகத்தின் மத்திய இணை அமைச்சர் ஸ்ரீபாட் யேஸ்ஸ நாயக் துவக்கி வைத்தார்.

5. Anoop Satpathy Committee

Ministry of Labour and Employment had constituted an expert committee under the Dr. Anoop Satpathy, to review and recommend a methodology for fixation of National Minimum Wage (NMW).

Expert Committee has submitted its report on “Determining the Methodology for Fixation of the National Minimum Wage” to the government.

டாக்டர் அனூப் சத்பாத்தி குழு

• தேசிய அளவில் குறைந்தபட்ச ஊதியத்தை நிர்ணயிப்பதற்கான முறையை ஆய்வு செய்தல் மற்றும் பரிந்துரைத்தல் ஆகியவற்றிற்காக டாக்டர் அனூப் சத்பாத்தி தலைமையின் கீழ் ஒரு வல்லுநர் குழுவை மத்திய தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் வேலைவாய்ப்புத் துறை அமைச்சகம் அமைத்துள்ளது.

• இந்த வல்லுநர் குழுவானது “தேசிய அளவில் குறைந்தப்டச ஊதியத்தை நிர்ணயிப்பதற்கான முறையைத் தீர்மானித்தல்” என்ற அறிக்கையை மத்திய அரசிடம் சமர்ப்பித்தது.

6. Swachh Shakti 2019

The Swachh Shakti 2019, a convention of Women Sarpanches was held at Kurukshetra in Haryana. The convention was inaugurated by the PM Narendra Modi.
The PM also distributed the Swachh Shakti 2019 awards to Erravalli village in Telangana. This award is given by Central government’s prestigious programme Swachh Sundar Shauchalaya.
Swachh Shakti is a national event which aims to bring into focus the leadership role played by rural women in Swachh Bharat Mission.

சுவச் சக்தி 2019

• நாடெங்கிலும் உள்ள பெண் பஞ்சாயத்து உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் பெண் பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர்களினால் கலந்து கொள்ளப்பட்ட ஒரு தேசிய நிகழ்ச்சி சுவச் சக்தி 2019 பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியால் ஹரியானாவின் குருஷேக்திராவில் துவக்கிவைக்கப்பட்டது.

• தெலுங்கானாவை சேர்ந்த எராவல்லி கிராமத்திற்கு 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டின் சுவச் சக்தி விருது பிரதமரால் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இந்த விருது மத்திய அரசின் புகழ்பெற்ற திட்டமான சுவச் சுந்தர் சௌச்சாலாயாவின் கீழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• சுவச் சக்தி என்பது கிராமப்புற பெண்கள் தூய்மை இந்தியா திட்டத்ததை முன்னின்று நடத்த வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில் நடைபெறுகிறது.
