1. Mahapanchayat

• The farming community in Haryana organized a massive ‘mahapanchayat’ in kandela village with a revived enthusiasm.
• They adopted a five point resolution in addition to the guarantee of Minimum support price, Swaminathan commission report implementation and the release of people arrested on R-day parade and loan waiver in mahapanchayat.

1. மகாபஞ்சாயத்து

• ஹரியானா மாநிலத்தின் விவசாய சமூகம் ‘மகாபஞ்சாயத்து’ எனும் மாபெரும் போராட்ட மாநாட்டை காண்டலா கிராமத்தில் உற்சாகத்துடன் நடத்தியது.
• இந்த மாநாட்டில் குறைந்தபட்ச ஆதரவு விலை, சுவாமிநாதன் கமிஷன் அறிக்கை அமலாக்கம், ஆர்-டே அணிவகுப்பில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர்களை விடுவித்தல், கடன் தள்ளுபடி ஆகிய கோரிக்கைகளுடன் ஒரு ஐந்து அம்ச தீர்மானம் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

2. Twitter – Farmer genocide

• Ministry of electronics and IT had passed an interim order to block 257 URLs and Posts with the Hashtag ‘Farmer genocide’ to stop the misleading information and violence related to farmer protests in the country as a matter of emergency.
• This was passed under section 69A of the Information Technology Act 2000.
• Twitter blocked the accounts initially but restored over 250 accounts stating that they were not in violation with Twitter policy.
• And so, the Indian government had issued a notice that Twitter was an intermediary and was obliged to follow the directions of the government and refusal to do may results in penal action.

2. ட்விட்டர் – விவசாய இனப்படுகொலை

• நாட்டில் விவசாயிகள் போராட்டம் தொடர்பான தவறான தகவல்களைத் தடுக்க , ட்விட்டரிடம் ‘விவசாயி இனப்படுகொலை'(farmer genocide) என்ற ஹேஸ்டேக்குகள் கொண்ட பதிவுகளையும், 257 இணையதள முகவரிகளையும் தடை செய்ய மின்னணு மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சகம் இடைக்கால உத்தரவை பிறப்பித்துள்ளது.
• இது தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப சட்டம் 2000 பிரிவு 69ஏ-ன் கீழ் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
• ஆரம்பத்தில் கணக்குகளை முடக்கிய ட்விட்டர், பின்பு ட்விட்டர் கொள்கையுடன் அவை மீறப்படவில்லை என கூறி 250 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கணக்குகளை மீட்டமைத்தது.
• எனவே, இந்திய அரசாங்கம் ட்விட்டர் ஒரு இடைத்தரகர் என்றும் அரசாங்கத்தின் உத்தரவுகளை பின்பற்ற வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் உள்ளது என்றும், மறுத்தால் சட்டப்படி தண்டனை நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் என அறிவித்துள்ளது.

3. Thozhi scheme

• Under Thozhi scheme, around 400 victims of sexual assault were given counselling and other supports so far, said by Mahesh kumar Aggarwal, City police commissioner during the inauguration of refresher training programme for women police personnel.
• Thozhi scheme was launched by Chennai city police and assigned 70 policewomen to provide counselling to victims of sexual assault cases in 2019.
• Out of the 35 women police stations in Chennai, two policewomen were assigned in each station to provide counselling.

3. தோழித் திட்டம்

• தோழி திட்டத்தின் கீழ், பாலியல் வன்கொடுமைக்கு ஆளான 400 பேருக்கு இதுவரை கவுன்சிலிங் மற்றும் இதர உதவிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என மாநகர காவல்துறை ஆணையர் மகேஷ் குமார் அகர்வால் தெரிவித்தார்.
• சென்னை மாநகர காவல்துறையால் தொடங்கப்பட்டு, பாலியல் வன்கொடுமை வழக்குகளில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு கவுன்சிலிங் அளிக்க 70 பெண் காவலர்களுக்கு பொறுப்பளிக்கப்பட்டது.
• சென்னையில் உள்ள 35 மகளிர் காவல் நிலையங்களில், ஒவ்வொரு நிலையத்திலும் தலா 2 பெண் காவலர்கள் இத்திட்டத்திற்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

4. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited

• The LCA contract to manufacture 83 Light combat aircraft(LAC) was given to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in the 13^th edition of Aero India in Bangalore.
• This contract is the biggest Make in India contract so far and includes 73 LCA Tejas Mk-1A fighter and 10 LCA Tejas Mk-1 fighter aircraft with an estimated cost of 48,000 crore rupees.
• In the Air India show, India showcased a range of indigenous military platforms and HAL displayed an ‘Atmanirbhar formation’ to boost defence efforts.

4. இந்துஸ்தான் ஏரோனாட்டிக்ஸ் லிமிடெட்

• பெங்களூரில் ஏரோ இந்தியா நிறுவனத்தின் 13வது பதிப்பில் 83 லைட் காம்பேட் போர்விமானங்களைத் தயாரிக்க எல்சிஏ(LCA) ஒப்பந்தம் ஹிந்துஸ்தான் ஏரோனாட்டிக்ஸ் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனத்திற்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
• இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் மிகப்பெரிய மேக் இன் இந்தியா ஒப்பந்தமாகும், இதில் 73 எல்சிஏ தேஜாஸ் Mk-1A போர் விமானமும், 10 எல்சிஏ தேஜாஸ் Mk-1 போர் விமானமும் அடங்கும்.
• ஏர் இந்தியா நிகழ்ச்சியில், இந்தியா பல்வேறு உள்நாட்டு இராணுவ போர்விமான அமைப்புகளையும், எச்ஏஎல்(HAL) பாதுகாப்பு முயற்சிகளை அதிகரிக்க ‘ஆத்மநிர்பார் உருவாக்கம்’ என்னும் பெயரில் போர்விமானங்களை காட்சிப்படுத்தின.

5. CBI interim chief

• R.K Shukla, Current chief of CBI’s tenure ended on February 3, 2021.
• Praveen Sinha, Additional Director of CBI is now appointed as the Interim chief of CBI till the appointed of new director.

• சிபிஐ யின் தற்போதைய தலைவர் திரு ஆர்.கே சுக்லா-வின் பதவிக்காலம் 2021 பிப்ரவரி 3-ம் தேதியுடன் முடிவடைந்தது.

6. Asian college of Journalism

• The Media Development association which administers the Asian college of Journalism has announce that the nominations for entries for the investigative journalism and social impact categories.
• P. Narayana kumar Memorial Award for Social impact journalism honours exceptional and original reportings on important subjects.

6. ஆசிய இதழியல் கல்லூரி

• ஆசிய இதழியல் கல்லூரியை நிர்வகிக்கும் ஊடக முன்னேற்ற சங்கம், இதழியல் மற்றும் சமூக தாக்கப் பதிவுகளுக்கான விருதுகளுக்கு வேட்புமனுக்கள் ஏற்கப்படுவதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.

7. U.S Department of Homeland security

• Cuban-born Alejandro Mayorkas, was appointed as the head of United states Department of Homeland security.
• He is the first Latino and the first immigrant to head DHS and the Biden’s immigration reform push is said to be boosted by this move.

• கியூபா நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த அலெஜான்ட்ரோ மேயர்காஸ், அமெரிக்க உள்நாட்டு பாதுகாப்பு துறையின் தலைவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
• அமெரிக்க உள்நாட்டு பாதுகாப்பு துறையின், குடிபெயர்ந்தவர்களில் லத்தீன் நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த முதல் தலைவர் ஆவார் பைடனின் குடியேற்ற சீர்திருத்த உந்துதலில் ஒன்றாக இந்த நடவடிக்கை பாராட்டைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.

8. New START nuclear treaty

• Joe Biden administration has extended the New Start treaty with Russia for five years, which is the maximum extension time.
• This move was taken to prevent an arms despite the tensions with Moscow. This treaty was first signed of by former President Barack Obama with Russian president in 2010.

8. புதிய START அணுசக்தி ஒப்பந்தம்

• ஜோ பைடன் நிர்வாகம் ரஷ்யாவுடன் புதிய START அணுசக்தி ஒப்பந்தத்தை மேலும் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு நீட்டித்துள்ளது. இதுவே அதிகபட்ச நீட்டிப்பு நேரம் ஆகும்.
• மாஸ்கோவுடனான பதட்ட நிலை தொடரும் போதிலும், ஆயுத மோதலை தடுக்கும் பொருட்டு இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் முதலில் முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதியான பராக் ஒபாமா, ரஷ்ய ஜனாதிபதியுடன் 2010 ல் கையெழுத்திடப்பட்டது ஆகும்.

9. Amazon CEO

• Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos is expected to step down as CEO would become Executive chairman in third quarter.
• Andy Jazzy, Amazon’s cloud computing chief will become the next Chief Executive officer of Amazon.in.

• அமேசான் நிறுவனர் ஜெஃப் பெஸோஸ், மூன்றாவது காலாண்டில் தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரி பதவியில் இருந்து விலகுவார் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
• அமேசான் கிளவுட் கம்ப்யூட்டிங்(cloud computing) தலைவர் ஆண்டி ஜாஸி, அமேசான்.இன் அடுத்த தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரியாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

10. Badminton Asia mixed Team championship

• Because of covid-19 situation, travel restrictions and strict quarantine protocols, Badminton Asia mixed Team championship tournament got cancelled on February 3, 2021.
• This tournament was scheduled to be held in Wuhan, china by next week.

10. இறகுபந்து ஆசிய கலப்பு குழு சாம்பியன்

• கோவிட்-19 சூழ்நிலை, பயணக் கட்டுப்பாடுகள் மற்றும் கடுமையான தடுப்பு நெறிமுறைகள் காரணமாக, ஆசிய இறகுபந்து கலப்பு அணி சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டி பிப்ரவரி 3, 2021 அன்று ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டது.
• இந்த போட்டி அடுத்த வாரம் சீனாவில் உள்ள வுஹானில் நடைபெற இருந்தது.

11. Three ‘Sangita Vachaspati’ Award

• Three persons who contributed to the arts and culture on behalf of Sastra Satsang were awarded the ‘Sangita Vachaspati’ award.

• Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam inaugurated the Tamil Thai – 73 Tamil Studies Festival at World Tamil Research Institute.

13. Indian – American in key role of NASA

• Indian-origin scientist   Bhavya Lal has been appointed as the Interim Chief Task Force (Chief of Staff) of the US Space Research Organisation NASA.
• She worked as a researcher at the Defence Analytical Science and Technology Policy Institute from 2005 to 2020.

13. ‘நாசா’ வின் முக்கிய பொறுப்பில் இந்திய – அமெரிக்கர்

• அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆய்வு மையமான ‘நாசா’ வின் இடைக்கால தலைமை பணிக்குழு ஒருங்கிணைப்பு அதிகாரியாக (சீஃப் ஆஃப் ஸ்டாஃப்) இந்திய வம்சாவளி விஞ்ஞானி பவ்யா லால் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
• இவர் 2005-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை பாதுகாப்பு பகுப்பாய்வு அறிவியல் தொழில்நுட்பக் கொள்கை நிறுவனத்தில் ஆராய்ச்சியாளராக அவர் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.

14. No Blood Bank in 63 Districts

• The Centre has said in Parliament that there is not a single blood bank in 63 districts of the country.
• Public Health comes under the state list.
• There are 3,321 licensed blood banks across the country.

• நாட்டில் 63 மாவட்டங்களில் ஒரு ரத்த வங்கி கூட இல்லை என்று நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் மத்திய அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• பொது சுகாதாரம் மாநில அரசின் பட்டியலின் கீழ் வருகிறது.
• நாடு முழுவதும் 3,321 உரிமம் பெற்ற ரத்த வங்கிகள் உள்ளன.

15. First Breast Milk Bank of Kerala

• The Health Minister K. K. Shailaja inaugurated the Kerala’s first Breast Milk Bank on February 5.
• The Breast Milk Bank, set up with the help of the Rotary Club of Cochin, will ensure that breast milk is available to infants who are unable to breastfeed due to poor maternal health or insufficient milk secretion.
• The Breastfeeding Bank project in India started 32 years ago but is now being launched in Kerala for the first time.

• கேரளத்தின் முதல் தாய்ப்பால் வங்கியை எர்ணாகுளம் பொது மருத்துவமணையில் சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் கே.கே. சைலஜா பிப்ரவரி 5 ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கிவைக்கிறார்.
• கொச்சி ரோட்டரி கிளப் உதவியுடன் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த தாய்ப்பால் வங்கியானது, தாய்மார்களின் உடல்நலக் குறைவாலோ போதிய பால் சுரக்காத்தாலோ, தாய்ப்பால் கிடைக்காத குழந்தைகளுக்கு தாய்ப்பால் கிடைப்பதை உறுதி செய்யும்.
• இந்தியாவில் தாய்ப்பால் வங்கி என்ற திட்டம் 32 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே வந்துவிட்டாலும் கேரளத்தில் இப்போது தான் முதல் முறையாக தொடங்கப்படுகிறது.

17. Elephant Rejuvenation Camp from 8th February

• The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the elephant rejuvenation camp will be held from February 8th of this year in Coimbatore district.
• Rejuvenation camp for elephants will be held in Bhavani river basin near Thekkampatti Vanabadrakali Amman Temple in Mettupalayam Taluk of Coimbatore District.

17. பிப்ரவரி 8 முதல் யானைகள் புத்துணர்வு முகாம்

• கோவை மாவட்டத்தில் வரும் பிப்ரவரி 8-ஆம் தேதி முதல் யானைகளுக்கான புத்துணர்வு முகாம் நடைபெறும் என்று தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
• கோவை மாவட்டம் மேட்டுப்பாளையம் வட்டம் தேக்கம்பட்டி வனபத்திரகாளி அம்மன் திருக்கோயிலை ஒட்டிய பவானி ஆற்றுப் படுகையில் யானைகளுக்கான புத்துணர்வு முகாம் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

18. Mahatma Gandhi statue demolished in California

• The Statue of Mahatma Gandhi was broken and insulted in Davis, California, USA on January 30.
• White House press secretary Jen Bisaki, the US president’s office, has condemned it.
• The Bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi, 6 feet tall, weighing 294 kg, was erected in Central Park in Davis city in 2016.

18. கலிபோர்னியாவில் மகாத்மா காந்தி சிலை உடைப்பு

• அமெரிக்காவின் கலிபோர்னியா மாகாணம் டேவிஸ் நகரில் மகாத்மா காந்தி சிலை ஜனவரி 30-இல் உடைக்கப்பட்டு அவமதிக்கப்பட்டது.
• இதனை அமெரிக்கா அதிபரின் அலுவலகமான வெள்ளை மாளிகையின் ஊடகச் செயலர் ஜென் பிசாகி கண்டித்துள்ளார்.
• டேவிஸ் நகரிலுள்ள மத்திய பூங்காவில் ஆறடி உயரமுள்ள 294 கிலோ எடை கொண்ட வெண்கலத்திலான மகாத்மா காந்தியின் இச்சிலை 2016-இல் அமைக்கப்பட்டது.

19. Kerosene subsidy stopped

• Centre has stopped subsidy on kerosene.
• Kerosene sold under Public Distribution System is now sold at market price.
• The Union Budget for the next fiscal, which begins in April, was presented on February 1.
• The documents revealed that the subsidy of kerosene was Rs.2,677.32 crores during the current financial year which was less than Rs.4,058 crore sparing compared to the previous financial year.
• The documents do not contain any information about subsidy for kerosene in the next financial year.

19. மண்ணெண்ணெய் மானியம் நிறுத்தம்

• மண்ணெண்ணெய்க்கான மானியத்தை மத்திய அரசு நிறுத்தியுள்ளது.
• பொது விநியோகத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் விற்பனை செய்யப்படும் மண்ணெண்ணெய் தற்போது சந்தை விலையில் விற்பனை செய்யப்படுகிறது.
• வரும் ஏப்ரலில் தொடங்கும் அடுத்த நிதியாண்டுக்கான மத்திய பட்ஜெட் பிப்ரவரி 1 அன்று தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
• அந்த ஆவணங்கள் மூலம் நிகழ் நிதியாண்டில் மண்ணெண்ணெய் மானியம் ரூ. 2,677.32 கோடியாக இருந்ததும், இது கடந்த நிதியாண்டுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் ரூ.4,058 கோடி குறைவு என்பதும் தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.
• அந்த ஆவணங்களில் அடுத்த நிதியாண்டில் மண்ணெண்ணெய்க்கு மானியம் வழங்குவது குறித்து எந்தத் தகவலும் இடம் பெறவில்லை.

20. Bharat Net scheme in all villages in Tamil Nadu by November 30

• Governor Banwarilal Purohit has said that Bharat Net will be implemented in all the villages of Tamil Nadu by November 30.

20. நவம்பர் 30க்குள் தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்து கிராமங்களிலும் பாரத்நெட் திட்டம்

• தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள அனைத்துக் கிராமங்களிலும் நவம்பர் 30-ஆம் தேதிக்குள் பாரத்நெட் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் என்று ஆளுநர் பன்வாரிலால் புரோஹித் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
