TAMIL NADU

1. Union Government allocates Rs. 3691 crores to Tamil Nadu under Jal Jeevan Mission

• Union Government has allocated 3691 crore grants to Tamil Nadu under Jal Jeevan Mission to accomplish the target of Har Ghar Jal by the State. The Union Ministry of Jal Shakti has also released Rs. 614.35 crore to the State as the first tranche.
• Jal Jeevan Mission was announced by the Prime Minister on 15 August 2019 to provide tap water connection to every rural household of the country by 2024.

1. ஜல்ஜீவன் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு ரூ. 3691 கோடியை மத்திய அரசு ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது

• ஹர் கர் ஜல் என்ற இலக்கை நிறைவேற்ற ஜல்ஜீவன்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு மத்திய அரசு                           ரூ. 3691 கோடி நிதியை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளது. மத்திய ஜல்சக்தி அமைச்சகம் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு முதல் தவணையாக ரூ. 614.35 கோடியை வழங்கியுள்ளது.
• பிரதமர் 15 ஆகஸ்ட் 2019 அன்று 2024ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு கிராமப்புறக் குடும்பத்திற்கும் குழாய் நீர் இணைப்பு வழங்க ஜல் ஜீவன் திட்டம் அறிவித்தது.

2. PM Modi delivers the keynote address at 5^th edition of VivaTech

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the keynote address at the 5^th edition of VivaTech. VivaTech is one of the largest digital and start-up events in Europe. The Prime Minister has been invited as a Guest of Honour to deliver the keynote address at the event this year.
• VivaTech is being held in Paris every year since 2016. It is jointly organised by Publicis Groupe and Les Echos. It brings together stakeholders in technology innovation and the start-up ecosystem.

2. விவாடெக்கின் 5ஆம் பதிப்பில் பிரதமர் முக்கிய உரையாற்றுகிறார்

• விவாடெக்கின்5ஆம் பதிப்பில் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி முக்கிய உரையாற்றுகிறார். விவாடெக் 2021 நிகழ்ச்சியில், சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக முக்கிய உரை நிகழ்த்துவதற்கு பிரதமருக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• விவாடெக் என்பது2016ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பாரிஸ் நகரத்தில் நடைபெறும், ஐரோப்பாவின் பிரமாண்ட டிஜிட்டல் மற்றும் புதுமை நிறுவனங்களின் நிகழ்ச்சியாகும். பப்லிசிஸ் குரூப் மற்றும் லேஸ் எக்கோஸ் குழுமம் இணைந்து இந்த நிகழ்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளன. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி தொழில்நுட்ப புதுமை மற்றும் புதிய நிறுவன சூழலியலின் பங்குதாரர்களை ஒன்றிணைக்கும்.

3. NAFED launches Fortified Rice Bran Oil

• NAFED launches Fortified Rice Bran Oil with an aim to reduce the country’s consumption dependence on imported edible oil in future. This Rice bran oil will be marketed by NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd).
• This initiative will provide easy access to NAFED branded high-quality rice bran oil, which will boost the indigenous oil manufacturing industry.
• Rice Bran oil lowers cholesterol level due to its low trans-fat content and high mono unsaturated and poly unsaturated fat It also acts as a booster and reduces the risk of cancer due to the high amount of Vitamin E it contains. This oil is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the best substitutes for other edible oils. According to the FSSAI, fortified oil can help a person fulfil 25-30% of the recommended dietary intake for vitamins A and D.

3. NAFED செறிவூட்டப்பட்ட அரிசித் தவிட்டு எண்ணெயை அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது

• எதிர்காலத்தில்சமையல் எண்ணெயின் இறக்குமதி மீதான சார்பைக் குறைக்க, தேசிய வேளாண் கூட்டுறவு சந்தைப்படுத்துதல் கூட்டமைப்பான NAFED, செறிவூட்டப்பட்ட அரிசித் தவிட்டு எண்ணெயை அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது. இந்த அரிசித் தவிட்டு எண்ணெயை NAFED நிறுவனம் சந்தைப்படுத்தும்.
• இந்த முயற்சி, NAFEDஇன் உயர்தர அரிசி தவிடு எண்ணெயை எளிதாக பெற உதவும். இது உள்நாட்டு எண்ணெய் உற்பத்திக்கு ஊக்கமளிக்கும்.
• தவிடு எண்ணெயில் குறைந்த டிரான்ஸ் கொழுப்பு மற்றும் அதிக மோனோ நிறைவுறா மற்றும் பாலி நிறைவுறா கொழுப்புகள் உள்ளதால் இது கொழுப்பு அளவை குறைக்கிறது. இதில் வைட்டமின் ஈ அதிகமாக உள்ளதால் புற்றுநோய் ஆபத்தை குறைக்கிறது. இந்த எண்ணெய் உலக சுகாதார நிறுவனத்தால் (WHO) மற்ற சமையல் எண்ணெய்களுக்கு சிறந்த மாற்றாக பரிந்துரைக்கப்படுகிறது. 4. Harsh Vardhan addresses the Global Yoga Conference 2021

• Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Harsh Vardhan, addressed the inaugural ceremony of Global Yoga Conference 2021. The event was organised by ‘Mokshayatan Yog Sansthan’ along with the Union Ministry of AYUSH and Indian Council for Cultural Relations to mark the occasion of the 7^th International Day of Yoga which falls on 21 June 2021.

சர்வதேச யோகா மாநாடு 2021இல் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் உரையாற்றினார்

• சர்வதேசயோகா மாநாடு 2021இன் தொடக்க நிகழ்வில் மத்திய    சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் குடும்ப நல அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் உரையாற்றினார். 21 ஜூன் 2021 அன்று கொண்டாடப்படவிருக்கும் ஏழாவது சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு மத்திய ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் இந்திய கலாச்சார உறவுகள் குழுவுடன் இணைந்து ‘மோக்‌ஷயதான்   யோக்சன்ஸ்தானால்’ இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை ஏற்பாடு   செய்திருந்தது.

5. World Giving Index 2021

• World Giving Index 2021 is released by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). India emerges as the 14^th most charitable country in the World.
• The survey highlights the impact of lockdowns on charitable giving.
• More than half (55 per cent) of the world’s adults or 3 billion people reported helping someone they didn’t know in 2020.
• 61 per cent of Indians helped strangers.
• 34 per cent volunteered.
• 36 per cent donated money.

5. உலக கொடுப்பனவுச் குறியீடு 2021

• உலக கொடுப்பனவு குறியீடு 2021ஐ தொண்டு நிறுவங்கள் உதவி அறக்கட்டளை (CAF) வெளியிடுகிறது. இக்குறியீட்டில் இந்தியா 14வது  இடத்தில் உள்ளது.
• தொண்டு வழங்குவதில் பொதுமுடக்கங்களின் தாக்கத்தை இந்த ஆய்வு எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.
• உலகின் வயதுவந்தோர்களில் பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்டவர்கள் (55 சதவீதம்) அல்லது 3 பில்லியன் மக்கள் 2020இல் தங்களுக்குத் தெரியாத ஒருவருக்கு உதவியதாக தெரிவித்தனர்.
• 61 சதவீத இந்தியர்கள் அந்நியர்களுக்கு உதவினர்.

• Czech Republic’s Patrik Schick scored a goal from halfway line against Scotland. It is the longest recorded goal in euro history, which is 7 yards.

6. பேட்ரிக் சிக் யூரோ 2020இல் மிக நீண்ட தூர கோலை அடித்தார்

• செக் குடியரசின் பேட்ரிக் சிக் ஸ்காட்லாந்திற்கு எதிராக ஒரு பாதி மைதானத்திற்கு அப்பால் இருந்து கோல் அடித்தார். இது யூரோ வரலாற்றில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட மிக நீண்ட7 கஜம் கோல் ஆகும்.

7. Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the top goal scorer at Euro Championships

• Cristiano Ronaldo surpassed Michel Platini to become the highest goal scorer in the history of the Euro Championships.
• He became the first-ever man to play five Euro Championships. Spain’s Iker Casillas was part of five games but he did not play in two of the tournaments. Italy’s Carolina Morace holds six appearance record at the European Championships.

7. கிறிஸ்டியானோ ரொனால்டோ யூரோ சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் அதிக கோல் அடித்த வீரரானார்

• கிறிஸ்டியானோ ரொனால்டோ மைக்கேல் பிளாட்டினியையின் சாதனையை முறியடித்து யூரோ சாம்பியன்ஷிப் வரலாற்றில் அதிக கோல் அடித்த வீரரானார்.
• ஐந்து யூரோ சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் விளையாடிய முதல் வீரர் என்ற பெருமையை அவர் பெற்றார். ஸ்பெயினின் ஐகர் காஸில்லாஸ் ஐந்து ஆட்டங்களில் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருந்தார், ஆனால் அவர் இரண்டு போட்டிகளில் விளையாடவில்லை. இத்தாலியின் கரோலினா மோரேஸ் ஐரோப்பிய சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் ஆறில் பங்கேற்றுள்ளார்.

8. World Sea Turtle Day – 16 June

• World Sea Turtle Day is observed every year on 16 June on Archie Carr’s birthday who is known as the “Father of Sea Turtle Biology”. This day aims to save sea turtles from extinction.

Sea turtles

• Five out of seven species of marine turtles of the world are found in All the five are included in Schedule I of the Indian Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and in the Appendix I of the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), which prohibits trade of turtle products by signatory countries. All important sea turtle nesting habitats are termed as “Important Coastal and Biodiversity Areas” and placed under Coastal Regulatory Zone–I.
• Odisha coast is the largest nesting site for marine turtles in the world, followed by Mexico and Costa Rica. Odisha coast has three nesting sites at Gahirmatha, Devi river mouth and in Recently, a new mass nesting site has been discovered in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

8. உலக கடல் ஆமை தினம் – 16 ஜூன்

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் 16 ஜூன் கடல் ஆமை தினமாக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த நாள் “கடல் ஆமை உயிரியலின் தந்தை”யான டாக்டர். ஆர்ச்சி காரின் பிறந்த நாளைக் குறிக்கிறது. இந்த நாள் கடல் ஆமைகளை அழிவிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

கடல் ஆமைகள்

• உலகிலுள்ள ஏழு வகையான கடல் ஆமைகளில் ஐந்து இந்தியாவில் காணப்படுகின்றன. இந்த ஐந்தும் இந்திய வனவிலங்கு பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டம், 1972இன் அட்டவணை 1 மற்றும் ஆமை தயாரிப்புகளை வர்த்தகம் செய்ய தடை விதிக்கும் அருகிவரும் காட்டு விலங்கினங்கள் மற்றும் தாவரங்களின் சர்வதேச வர்த்தக உடன்படிக்கையின் (CITES) முதல் இணைப்பில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அனைத்து முக்கிய கடல் ஆமை இனப்பெருக்க மற்றும் வாழ்விடங்களும் “முக்கியமான கடலோர மற்றும் பல்லுயிர் பகுதிகள்” என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது மற்றும் கடலோர ஒழுங்குமுறை மண்டலம்-1இன் கீழ் வைக்கப்படுகின்றன.
• ஒடிசா கடற்கரை கடல் ஆமைகளுக்கு உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய இனப்பெருக்க இடமாகும், அதைத் தொடர்ந்து மெக்சிகோ மற்றும் கோஸ்டா ரிகா உள்ளது. ஒடிசா கடற்கரையில் கஹிர்மாதா, தேவி நதி முகத்துவாரம்  மற்றும் ருஷிகுல்யாவில் மூன்று கடற்கரைகள் உள்ளன. சமீபத்தில், அந்தமான் மற்றும் நிக்கோபார் தீவுகளில் ஒரு புதிய இனப்பெருக்க தளம் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

9. Guru Arjan Dev Matrydom – 16 June

• Guru Arjan Dev was the fifth Sikh Guru. He was executed by Mughal emperor Jahangir on 16 June 1606. According to the Hindu calendar, Guru Arjan Dev Martyrdom Day is observed on Jeth Sudi 4 and this year it fell on 14 June. People belonging to the Sikh community observe this occasion as Chabeel Day in his remembrance. Chabeel is also known as ‘Kachchi Lassi’ in several parts of North India.
• Guru Arjan Dev compiled the first edition of the Guru Granth Sahib. He had prepared the map of Golden Temple and laid its foundation.
• His grandfather Guru Amardas and father Guru Ramdas were the third and fourth Sikh Gurus respectively. Guru Arjan Dev’s son, Hargobind Singh became the Sixth Sikh Guru.

9. குரு அர்ஜன் தேவ் தியாக நாள் – 16 ஜூன்

• குரு அர்ஜன் தேவ் ஐந்தாவது சீக்கிய குரு ஆவார். 16 ஜூன் 1606 அன்று முகலாயப் பேரரசர் ஜஹாங்கீர் அவரைத் தூக்கிலிட்டார். இந்து நாட்காட்டியின்படி, குரு அர்ஜன் தேவ் தியாக தினம் ஜெத் சுதி 4இல் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது, இந்த ஆண்டு 14 ஜூன் அன்று கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.   சீக்கிய சமூகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த மக்கள் இந்த நிகழ்வை அவரது நினைவாக சபீல் தினமாக அனுசரிக்கிறார்கள். சபீல் வட இந்தியாவின் பல பகுதிகளில் ‘கச்சி லஸ்ஸி‘ என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.
• குரு அர்ஜன் தேவ் குரு கிரந்த சாஹிப்பின் முதல் பதிப்பைத் தொகுத்தார். அவர்  பொற்கோயில் வரைபடத்தை தயாரித்து அதற்கு அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார்.
• அவரது தாத்தா குரு அமர்தாஸ் மற்றும் தந்தை குரு ராம்தாஸ் முறையே மூன்றாவது மற்றும் நான்காவது சீக்கிய  குரு ஆவார்கள். குரு அர்ஜன் தேவின் மகன் ஹர்கோபிந்த் சிங் ஆறாவது சீக்கிய குரு ஆவார்.

10. Valentina Terascova becomes the first woman to enter space on 16 June 1963

• Valentina Tereshkova was a Russian cosmonaut. She became first woman to enter space on 16 June 1963 at the age of 26. She was the only woman to fly solo in space.

10. வாலண்டினா டெராஸ்கோவா 16 ஜூன் 1963 அன்று விண்வெளியில் நுழைந்த முதல் பெண்மணி ஆனார்

• வாலண்டினா டெரெஸ்கோவா ஒரு ரஷ்ய விண்வெளி வீராங்கனை ஆவார். 16 ஜூன் 1963 அன்று தனது 26வது வயதில் விண்வெளியில் நுழைந்த   முதல் பெண்மணி என்னும் பெருமையைப் பெற்றார். விண்வெளியில் தனியாக பறந்த ஒரே பெண் இவர் மட்டுமே.
