1. Kattur becomes the first village in Tamil Nadu with 100% vaccination

• Tamil Nadu Medical and Family Welfare Minister Ma Subramanian said that ‘Kattur’ in Tiruvarur district had become the first village in the Tamil Nadu to get 100% vaccination.
• A museum is being built in Kattur in the memory of former Chief Minister Karunanidhi, which is also the village of his mother Anjugam. 
• Weyan of Jammu and Kashmir is the first village in India to get 100% vaccination.

2. APEDA and Indian embassy organise virtual buyer-seller meet for boosting agricultural and processed food products exports to Algeria

• APEDA in collaboration with the Indian embassy has organised a virtual buyer-seller meet (VBSM) with Algeria to boost agricultural and processed food products exports.
• The VBSM was titled ‘Opportunities in Agri-sector between India and Algeria’.

APEDA

• Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985. It works under the Ministry of Commerce and Industries. It promotes export of agricultural and processed food products from India. APEDA replaced the Processed Food Export Promotion Council (PFEPC).

APEDA

3. Dr. Harsh Vardhan chairs 4^th Tuberculosis Mukt Bharat Partner Meeting

• Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, chaired the 4^th Tuberculosis (TB) Mukt Bharat meeting through video conferencing. The meeting was for reviewing the progress in the fight against TB.
• India has a target to eradicate TB by 2025.

Tuberculosis

• Tuberculosis or TB is an infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs. The bacteria usually spread to people when an infected person sneezes or coughs.
• TB remains India’s largest infectious killer, with over 4.45 lakh deaths due to TB in 2019, which is 31% of the global mortality. In 2020, it was estimated that over one crore people were infected with TB globally, of which 26% or 26 lakhs were estimated to be in India.

“Stop TB Partnership”

• The “Stop TB Partnership” is a unique international body with the power to align actors all over the world in the fight against TB. It was established in the year 2000. It is mandated to eliminate Tuberculosis as a public health problem.
• Aim: TB-free world.

National TB elimination Programme

• It is a centrally sponsored scheme.
• India aims to eliminate TB by 2025, five years ahead of the WHO timeline.
• Annual TB Report 2020 of Union Health Ministry reported 20.04 lakh notified TB patients in 2019 in India, a 14% increase from 2018.

3. டாக்டர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் தலைமையில் 4வது காசநோய் இல்லா பாரதம் பங்குதாரர் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது

• மத்திய சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் குடும்ப நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் டாக்டர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன், 4வது காசநோய் (காசநோய்) இல்லா பாரதம் கூட்டத்திற்கு இணையவழி மூலம் தலைமை தாங்கினார். காசநோய்க்கு எதிரான போராட்டத்தில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள முன்னேற்றத்தை ஆய்வு செய்வதற்காக இக்கூட்டம் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

காசநோய்

• காசநோய் என்பது நுரையீரலை முதன்மையாகப் பாதிக்கும் ஒரு தொற்று நோயாகும். பொதுவாக, ஒரு தொற்று நோய் கொண்ட நபரின் தும்மல் மற்றும் இருமல் மூலமாகவோ பாக்டீரியா மக்களுக்கு பரவுகிறது.

தேசிய காசநோய் ஒழித்தல் திட்டம்

• இது மத்திய அரசின் நிதியுதவி வழங்கப்படும் திட்டமாகும்.
• உலக சுகாதார மையத்தின் காலக்கெடுவிற்கு ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னதாகவே, 2025ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் காசநோயை ஒழிக்க இந்தியா, உறுதி பூண்டுள்ளது.
• 2020 காசநோய் ஆண்டறிக்கையில் 2019ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்தியாவில்04 இலட்சம் காச நோயாளிகள் இருப்பதாக மத்திய சுகாதாரத் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இது 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இருந்து 14% அதிகமாகும்.

4. Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry celebrate 6^th Anniversary of Smart Cities Mission, AMRUT and PMAY-U

• The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) organised an online event to commemorate 6 years of the launch of three transformative Urban Missions – Smart Cities Mission (SCM), AMRUT and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U).
• They were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on 25 June 2015. The three schemes were part of a visionary agenda for urban rejuvenation and were designed as part of a multi-layer strategy to meet the aspirations of 40% of India’s population living in cities.
• The date also marks 45 years of establishment of the National Institute of Urban Affairs, an autonomous body of MoHUA, tasked to bridge the gap between research and practice on issues related to urbanisation.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna – Urban

• PMAY-U, ensured ‘Housing for All’ by 2022.

AMRUT Mission

• Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) was launched to address the issues of Water Supply, Sewerage management, Storm Water Drainage to reduce flooding, Non-motorised Urban Transport and creating green space/parks in 500 cities with more than 1 lakh population.

Smart Cities Mission

• Smart Cities Mission is a transformational Mission aimed to bring about a paradigm shift in the practice of urban development in the country. Projects developed under the Smart Cities Mission are multi-sectoral and mirror the aspirations of the local population.

4. வீட்டுவசதிமற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரத்துறை அமைச்சகம்  ஸ்மார்ட் நகரங்கள் திட்டம், அம்ருத், பிரதமரின் வீட்டு வசதி திட்டம் ஆகியவற்றின் 6வது ஆண்டு விழாவை கொண்டாடுகிறது

• ஸ்மார்ட்நகரங்கள் திட்டம், அம்ருத், பிரதமரின் வீட்டு வசதி  திட்டம் ஆகிவற்றின் 6வது ஆண்டு விழாவை நினைவு கூறும்         வகையில் இந்த காணொலி நிகழ்ச்சியை மத்திய வீட்டு வசதி      மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரத்துறை அமைச்சகம் நடத்தியது.
• ஸ்மார்ட்நகரங்கள் திட்டம், அம்ருத், பிரதமரின் வீட்டு வசதி           திட்டம் ஆகியவை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியால், கடந்த 25 ஜூன் 2015இல் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்த மூன்று திட்டங்களும் நகர்ப்புற புத்துணர்வின்                       தொலைநோக்கு கொள்கையின் ஒரு அங்கமாகும். இந்திய                நகரங்களில் வசிக்கும் 40 சதவீத மக்களின் ஆசைகளை                      நிறைவேற்றுவதற்காக இது உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
• இந்த தினம், மத்தியவீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரத்துறை அமைச்சகத்தின் தன்னாட்சி அமைப்பான தேசிய நகர்ப்புற விவகாரங்கள் நிறுவனம் நிறுவப்பட்ட 45 ஆண்டுகளைக் குறிக்கிறது, இது நகரமயமாக்கல் தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகளில் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் நடைமுறைக்கு இடையிலான இடைவெளியை குறைக்க பணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• பிரதம மந்திரி வீட்டு வசதி யோஜனா(ஆவாஸ்) – நகர்ப்புறம், 2022ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குக்குள் ‘அனைவருக்கும் வீடு‘ என்பதை உறுதி செய்யும் திட்டமாகும்.

அம்ருத் மிஷன்

• 1 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட 500 நகரங்களில் குடிநீர் வழங்கல், கழிவுநீர் மேலாண்மை, வெள்ளத்தைக் குறைப்பதற்காக மழைநீர் வடிகால், மோட்டார் அல்லாத நகர்ப்புற போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் பசுமை இடம்/பூங்காக்களை உருவாக்குதல் ஆகிய பிரச்சினைகளை தீர்ப்பதற்காக அம்ருத் (புத்துயிரூட்டல் மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற மாற்றத்திற்கான அடல் மிஷன்) தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

ஸ்மார்ட் நகரங்கள் இயக்கம்

• ஸ்மார்ட் நகரங்கள் இயக்கம் என்பது நாட்டின் நகர்ப்புற வளர்ச்சி நடைமுறையில் ஒரு முன்னுதாரண மாற்றத்தை கொண்டு வரும் நோக்கத்துடன் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஒரு மாற்றத்திற்கான திட்டமாகும். ஸ்மார்ட் நகரங்கள் இயக்கத்தின் கீழ் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட திட்டங்கள் பல்துறை சார்ந்தவை மற்றும் உள்ளூர் மக்களின் தேவைகளை பிரதிபலிக்கின்றன.

5. Union Minister Rajnath Singh reviews development works at Karwar Naval Base under ‘Project Seabird’

• Union Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Karwar Naval Base in Karnataka to review the progress of ongoing infrastructure development under ‘Project Seabird’.
• It will be Asia’s largest Naval Base and further strengthen the operational readiness of the Armed Forces.

5. கர்வார் கடற்படை தளத்தின் வளர்ச்சி பணிகளை மத்திய அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் ஆய்வு செய்தார்

• கடல்பறவை திட்டத்தின் கீழ் (ProjectSeabird), கர்நாடகாவில்           உள்ள கர்வார் கடற்படைதளத்தில் நடைபெறும்

உள்கட்டமைப்பு வளர்ச்சி பணிகளை பாதுகாப்புத்துறை                  அமைச்சர்  ராஜ்நாத் சிங்  ஆய்வு செய்தார்.

• இது ஆசியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய கடற்படைதளமாகவும் இராணுவத்தின் தயார்நிலையை உறுதி செய்வதாகவும் இருக்கும்.

6. The Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) meeting held

• 25 June 2021 marks the 30^th anniversary of the Cauvery tribunal interim award. For the first time in the country, a river water disputes tribunal gave an interim award which was, facilitated by a verdict of the Supreme Court.

Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA):

• CWMA was created as per the Cauvery Management Scheme framed by Central Government under Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 and approved by Supreme Court. It comprises a Chairman, a Secretary and eight members.

6. காவிரி நீர் மேலாண்மை ஆணையக் கூட்டம்

• 25 ஜூன் 2021 காவிரி நடுவர் மன்ற இடைக்கால தீர்ப்பின் 30வது ஆண்டு நிறைவைக் குறிக்கிறது. நாட்டில் முதல் முறையாக, நதி நீர் நடுவர் மன்றம் இடைக்கால தீர்ப்பை வழங்கியது, இதனை உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் தீர்பு உறுதி செய்தது.

காவிரி நீர் மேலாண்மை ஆணையம் (CWMA):

7. China launches its first fully electrified bullet train in Tibet

• China launched its first fully electrified bullet train in Tibet. It connects the provincial capital Lhasa and Nyingchi, a border town close to Arunachal Pradesh. It is 5 km long.

7. திபெத்தில் முழுமையாக மின்மயமாக்கப்பட்ட முதல் புல்லட் ரயிலை சீனா அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது

• சீனா தனது முதல் முழுமையாக மின்மயமாக்கப்பட்ட புல்லட் ரயிலை திபெத்தில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. இது அருணாச்சலப் பிரதேசத்திற்கு அருகில் உள்ள எல்லை நகரமான லாசா மற்றும் நியிங்ச்சியை இணைக்கிறது. இது 5 கி.மீ நீளம் கொண்டது.

8. CAG report finds Tamil Nadu’s arrears in revenue worth Rs. 36,499 crores

• CAG’s report was submitted in Tamil Nadu legislative assembly.

Highlights of CAG report:

• Tamil Nadu State government has arrears in revenue worth 36,499 crore, which is yet to be recovered, out of which 56.93% of arrears is under recovery process, 38.95% is under litigation and subsidies account for 10.89% of revenue receipts.
• The State contained the fiscal deficit at 84 per cent of GSDP, well within the ceiling of 3 per cent of GDP as envisaged under the Tamil Nadu Fiscal Responsibility Act, 2003 and the 14^th Finance Commission, but marginally exceeded the target proposed in the budget (2.97 per cent).

Comptroller and Auditor General of India

• Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India is appointed by the President of India. Article 148 of the Indian Constitution deals with the CAG.
• He audits the accounts related to expenditure from Consolidated Fund of India (CFI), Consolidated Fund of States (CFS) and Union territories with legislative assembly. Article 151 states that CAG presents the audit report related to the state to the Governor, who in turn present them in the state legislative assembly.

8. தமிழ்நாட்டின் வருவாய் நிலுவைத் தொகை ரூ. 36,499 கோடி ரூபாயாக உள்ளதாக சிஏஜி அறிக்கை கண்டறிந்துள்ளது

• சிஏஜியின் அறிக்கை தமிழக சட்டமன்றத்தில் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டது.

சிஏஜி அறிக்கையின் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்:

• தமிழ்நாடு மாநில அரசு இன்னும் மீட்கப்படாத ரூ. 36,499 கோடி வருவாய் நிலுவையை கொண்டுள்ளது, அதில்93% நிலுவைகள் மீட்பு நடைமுறையில் உள்ளன, 95% வழக்குகளின் கீழ் உள்ளது மற்றும் இந்த வருவாய் வரவுகளில் மானியங்கள் 10.89% ஆகும்.
• தமிழ்நாடு நிதிப் பொறுப்புச் சட்டம், 2003 மற்றும் 14வது நிதிக் குழுவின் கீழ் எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட மொத்த உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தியில் 3 சதவீத உச்சவரம்பிற்குள், ஜி.எஸ்.டி.பி.யின்84 சதவீத நிதிப் பற்றாக்குறையை மாநில அரசு கட்டுப்படுத்தியது. ஆனால் பட்ஜெட்டில் (2.97 சதவீதம்) முன்மொழியப்பட்ட இலக்கை மிஞ்சிவிட்டது.

இந்திய தலைமை தணிக்கையாளர்

• இந்திய தலைமை தணிக்கையாளர் (CAG) இந்திய குடியரசுத் தலைவரால் நியமிக்கப்படுகிறார். இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பின் 148வது விதி CAGயைப் பற்றியது.
• இந்திய ஒருங்கிணைந்த நிதியம் (CFI) , மாநிலங்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த நிதியம்  மற்றும் சட்டமன்றத்துடன் உள்ள யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களின் செலவினங்கள் தொடர்பான கணக்குகளை அவர் தணிக்கை செய்வார். மாநில அரசு தொடர்பான தணிக்கை அறிக்கையை மாநில சட்டமன்றத்தில் சமர்ப்பிக்கும் ஆளுநரிடம் CAG தாக்கல் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று விதி 151 கூறுகிறது.

• ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் சிறப்பு நிறுவனமான சர்வதேச கடல்சார் அமைப்பு, 25 ஜூனை சர்வதேச கடலோடிகளின் தினமாக 2010இல் அங்கீகரித்தது.

10. World Vitiligo Day – 25 June

• World Vitiligo Day is observed annually on 25 June to create awareness globally about this rare skin disease, Vitiligo.
• Vitiligo creates pale white patches on the skin due to a lack of melanin. 1-2 per cent of the population across the globe, people are suffering from this rare condition.
• 25 June was chosen as a memorial of the death anniversary of Michael Jackson, who suffered from Vitiligo, which occurred on 25 June 2009. The first World Vitiligo Day was also known as Vitiligo Awareness Day or Vitiligo Purple Fun Day, was observed in

• விட்டிலிகோ என்னும் அரிய தோல் நோய் குறித்து உலகளவில் விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக உலக விட்டிலிகோ தினம் ஆண்டுதோறும் 25 ஜூன் அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• விட்டிலிகோ மெலனின் இல்லாததால் தோலில் வெளிர் வெள்ளை திட்டுகளை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள மக்கள் தொகையில் 1-2 சதவீதம் பேர் இந்த அரிய நிலையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
• 25 ஜூன் 2009 அன்று இறந்த விட்டிலிகோவால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மைக்கேல் ஜாக்சனின் நினைவு நாளைக் குறிக்கும் விதத்தில் 25 ஜூன் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது.  முதல் உலக விட்டிலிகோ தினம்    விட்டிலிகோ விழிப்புணர்வு தினம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்பட்டது அல்லது விட்டிலிகோ ஊதா வேடிக்கை தினமாக 2010இல் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது.
