IBPS Clerk preliminary examination will be held in the month of December this year and you know the preparations are to be in sky level to reach the perfect destination of achieving the feat. sir in Q-10 during caculation for 40 -140/100
50- 150/100
so why you put for 120-120/100 but why you dont put 220/100 please give solution

In 2002, percentage rise is 120%. Like wise it is more than 100 in 2004, 2005, 2006

In 1998, the production is 1000 units. It is increased 40% in 1999. so in 1999, the production is 1400. if you do it like this, you will get 6468 units in 2002

Even I marked 6468 but we have to take 140 instead of only 40…hope my comment will help you understand better. 🙂
So, the answer is 6468. But the page says 3528 is the correct answer. Please correct and explain.
in year 2001 there is decrese by 40 percent so we should take 60/100 in place of 140/100.in that way the answer of 10th ques will be 2772. sir please correct me if my concept is wrong.
The chart given is Percentage Rise. Everything is growth only. There is no decrease.

For example, To find the percentage rise in 2005, find the raised value
In 2004, its 120
In 2005, its 130
So the rise in 2005 is 10.
% rise = 10/120 *100 = 8.33%
