ISRO’s GSLV-F10 fails to launch earth observation satellite in orbit

  • ISRO’s GSLV rocket failed to inject into orbit, India’s latest earth observation satellite, EOS-03, due to a failure to ignite the cryogenic stage of the launch vehicle.
  • The GSLV-F10 was a three-stage engine rocket, with the first being solid fuel and the four strap-on motors by liquid fuel; the second was liquid fuel and the third a cryogenic engine.
