Write a letter to the Editor, The Hindu, Chennai highlighting the lack of civil amenities in your locality.

The Editor,

The Hindu,

Dear sir,

I am a resident of (xxxx) locality in Chennai. I write this letter to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities, through your esteemed newspaper, the despicable civic condition prevailing in our locality. The accumulation of garbage in our area, of late, has created a great panic in the minds of the residents. The spread of harmful diseases on account of this is a sure sign of distress and needs to be addressed at the earliest. The people at large and infants, old people and the sick in particular, are most likely to be affected by this nauseating situation.

I would be thankful if this letter is published in your newspaper, which is sure to wake up the concerned from the slumber and bring out a positive action.
