FCI Recruitment 2019 Schedule Revised – New Dates Released

FCI (Food Corporation of India) has announced massive vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineers, Stenographers, typist, and Assistant posts.

FCI has released new dates for the start of the registration process. Previously, FCI has announced that the Registration process will start from 23rd February 2019 and will end on 25th March 2019.

FCI has announced new dates for the recruitment process and the registration for the recruitment process will start from 28th February 2019.

The total number of vacancies available for the FCI Recruitment 2019 is 4103.

FCI Recruitment 2019 – Tentative Schedule

Submission of Online Application & Fee Payment	28.02.2019 from 10.00 Hrs (IST)
Last Date for submission of Application & Fee	30.03.2019 till 24.00 Hrs (IST)
Availability of Admit Cards on website	15 days prior to the announced date of examination download
Date of Online Test	Tentatively in the month of March/April/May 2019. (Will be announced in website www.fci.gov.in)

This is also the 1st FCI Recruitment in the last 3 years. Previously, FCI (Food Corporation of India) has conducted a recruitment process for the post of Junior Engineer in the year 2015.

This is the 1st Time that Government has introduced EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Quota in the FCI Recruitment process. According to the Recruitment notification released by FCI Recruitment 2019, Totally 388 Vacancies has been reserved under the EWS Category.

The official notification quotes that, “EWS vacancies are tentative and subject to further directives of GoI and outcome of any litigation”.
