Prakash hai to Vikas hai- Uttar Pradesh power yojana

Chief Minister Yogi Adtiyanath UP cabinet launched new Power scheme. Prakash hai to vikas hai in Uttar Pradesh is launched on December 25th 2017. Uttar Pradesh power yojana is launched on the birth anniversary of former Pradhan mantri Sh. Atal Vihari Vajpayee. Villages that are covered under prakash hai to vikas hai yojana are Lohban and Gausana.

Main motive is to cover all villages under the slogan Prakash hai to vikas hai as per power scheme.

100% Houses are covered in these two villages on the day of launch of scheme. In addition Uttar Pradesh government set the target of covering 16 million till the end of December 2018.

Highlights of the slogan prakash hai to vikas hai based Power scheme

In Uttar Pradesh there are many villages without electricity connection after the 70 years of independence. Therefore to achieve the target of central government, UP government launched power scheme with slogan prakash hai to vikas hai on 25thDecember 2017. Power scheme is the part of pradhan mantri Saubhagya scheme under which the central government provide electricity connections. Under Saubhagya scheme the central government target 4 crore electricity connection in India. Previously the households have to pay Rs. 10000 to get the electricity connections. And after prakash hai to vikas hai slogan based scheme households have to pay Rs.550 for each electricity connections. Uttar Pradesh government set the target of 16 million households to the prakash hai to vikas hai scheme. After the launch of Saubhagya scheme Uttar Pradesh government provides electricity connections to the 25lakh households in the state. Thus the remaining target will be achieved in few months as per officials. In addition every household have to pay Rs.50 during the electricity connection and Rs. 550 they have to pay in instalments with 10 months time period. Uttar Pradesh government has also launched kisan Uday yojana for the farmers. According to this scheme the 5hp/7.5hp Power connections will be replaced. Target set to cover the farmers under this scheme is 10lakh at the end of financial year 2022.
